On arriving we realised we were in an excellent hotel we were very happy with our rooms it was early hours when we arrived .

When we got up a few hours later we loved the place our only gripe was the food? Although there was plenty it wasn't very hot& 15 mins to make some toast& not my personal taste I should have taken my HP sauce.

My grandaughter loved it the kids club was great . There wasnt alot of entertainment we played cards most evenings in the Irish bar( no guinness) staff were friendly I would go back maybe in a few years when the area has built up a bit more (you need a bus to go anywhere). In all I`ll give it 8/10

Hotel-We were pleasantly surprised when we were dropped off at our hotel after seeing all the horror stories on tv recently.

The reception area was lovely, clean and modern. We were on the 6th floor and when we got into our rooms we were amazed to see how clean and spacious they were. Air con, mini bar, tv, telephone and hairdryer, no complaints at all. When we went down to the restaurant for our evening meal we again noticed how clean it was kept, the staff were nice , food was ok, it was lovely .

Resort-Very pleasantly surprised at the resort, nice long walkway/road along the front of the hotels with the beach on the other side, beach was nice water was not. We thought it was more like a spanish resort than a greek one. Didn't like the way they were trying to take photos of tourists with animals ie crocodile that had its mouth taped closed, snakes, iguanas and the one we realy didn't like was the bear.

Nice restaurants and places to drink, lots of karaoke, beer and food v cheap if you drank the local beer or spirits.

Holiday Overall - Very good , would come back but definitley not with Balkan and next time we would stay at the Victoria Palalce as this looked the best hotel in the resort.

The hotel is fantastic. It is really really clean. Good size rooms and the bathroom was bigger than most spanish apartments.

The food was good. Plenty of choice every meal time. Lovely salads, fresh fish and meat. There are a number of restaurants on site so if the food in one doesn't suit you can go to any of the others. The kids loved being able to fend for themselves in the separate section.

The staff were very pleasant and couldnt do enough for you. The dining room is being constantly cleaned, which is great as it can be busy at peak times.

The pool area was kept clean and tidy, they even swept up the puddles. Also very strict on pool cleanliness. After one 'accident' in the childrens section, they closed the pool to disinfect.

Had a fantastic holiday. Hotel extremely clean. Rooms were big - especially our family room.

Food was okay. Plenty of choice. Constantly bringing out hot food. Even had apple crumble and custard cooked especially for us by First Choice resident chef! Kids area for food - good.

Beautiful location for quiet beach holiday.

Hotel staff helpful. Assistant restaurant manager was fabulous - very attentive.

First Choice entertainment reps fantastic.

We have stayed in many hotels in many countries both with the children and before we had them, and we can honestly say this is one of the better.

Your requirements change when you have children and this hotel hits the mark,if we didn't have the children would've liked better access to outside bars etc.

Access to both beach and poolside were excellent and convenient and both were kept clean anyone who complains of uncleanliness must remember who makes it unclean! US.

Rooms were very spacious and serviced daily with fresh linen. Our chambermaid was very well tipped,we were very pleased, she was always friendy and spoke to the children in her best english which was better than our Bulgarian!

With 6 children in our party(our son is only 18months)we were dreading feeding times. As it happens most of them ate quite well. A good variety of food to suite most tastes. First choice chef went out of his way to help getting milk for baby.

Entertainment available if you wanted it seemed to be aimed mainly at children.

We found hotel excellent value for money and particularly suited for families with children.

Would certainly return to this hotel.
Only minor negative was that there were no baby changing facilities in the hotel toilets.

See you next year!

This is an all inclusive hotel, and it really is all inclusive as well. The Irish bar here, states they shut down all inc option at 12.00 pm however if there are a few people still left in the bar they will serve you till 1.00 am

The hotel is cleaned from 7 in the morning, till 10.30 at night, the cleaners never stop... it's spotless 24 - 7......

The staff at this hotel were all really friendly, always got a smile for you, even on there long days with very little pay.....

The food is now very good here, they have got two English chefs in, so no complaints with that.

In fact the Bulgarian people as a whole are very charming and will always help you if needed.... and that isn

Our first holiday to Bulgaria and happy to say it won't be our last! The Royal Park hotel itself is very clean the rooms are spacious and were well serviced by the staff, clean linen and towels were changed every couple of days and the bathrooms were kept spotless.

The food was plentiful and a wide variety and we always found something to our liking. The two first choice British chefs were friendly and always asking if they could improve or change anything and the kids corner was a nice touch.

On the journey to the hotel there is a lot of building work going on and the road between Elenite and Sunny Beach is not the best but once your there that

Returned from the Royal Park last week. Having visited many 4* AI hotels, I was reasonably happy with this one. The cleaners are very efficient, and our room was cleaned everyday, towels changed and carpet hoovered which was good because we spent everyday on the beach. The beach was lovely, the sea very clean and very warm. We did not spend much time around the pool as there seemed to be a lingering smell of bad drains. The First Choice team also entertained during the day for the kids which sometimes got a little noisy. I cannot fault the First Choice team. They were excellent! There was always someone around if you had any problems.

The food in the main restaurant was good, thank to the 2 First Choice chefs. There was always something to eat, even for our 7 year old. They have a separate 'Kids Corner' in the restaurant which serves pizza, chips, nuggets, fish fingers etc. We also tried the 'a la carte' restaurants...The Italien - don't bother, the food was cold when it was brought to us. The BBQ - this one was OK, it had some nice fresh fish (which the main restaurant lacks), and its own entertainment. The Bulgarian restaurant was OK, but everthing came with chips (bulgarian??), this put us off, so we didn't bother again.

We had some very bad storms while we were there but they came in the middle of the night. They caused a short power cut and our patio leaked a little.

There was nothing to do for adults in the evening, the kids are always entertained.

Money - go to the post office or Co-op travel shop and buy some Levs. Do not take dollars because you get ripped off.

All in all, we all had a good time and have a fantastic tan!
