Rooms are spread out and it's a big resort. It does have a good transport system. Ask not to be put near a large generator area in the middle of the resort it's noisy and smelly. Think it has something to do with the sewers.

The hotel is spotless and staff are constantly cleaning. Rooms are kept well stocked with toiletriesetc and bedding is chaged everyday with towels changed twice a day.
The settings of the hotel are beautifully laid out and contain wonderfully mature and colourful gardens which surround and enhance the pool and grounds throughout.
The entertainment was better this year and the Michael Jackson show is first rate. Much of the entertainment is generated by guests themselves in such shows as the Perfect Couple, Karaoke and Anything Goes.
The beach is beautiful and has constant breeze which keeps the temperature bearable. Swimming is good but you have to watch out for coral outcrops.
Sunscape is a superb resort for both families and couples and has a staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed within the Riu complex onlt venturing out once on the Outback Safari tour. However, the cleanliness around the resort is excellent. The beach is beautiful and goes on for miles in either direction which makes a nice walk during the day.

The resort was clean, the beach was lovely. The food was varied, rven the buffet. All in all a great holiday

Beach towels provided.
Resort entertainment aimed at families with children.
The beach is beautiful and kept very clean. We used the snorkelling gear and the catamaran, all fully inclusive although you left a deposit for the equipment and got it back when returned.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Would visit again.

The resort was quiet mainly hotel entertainment and shops, but the beach was beautiful. The waves seemed to vary, one day it could be very calm and the next day, huge giant waves.

We didn't really leave the hotel grounds (as we were told not to) but we did go on a trip called the Jurassic safara (inwhich I would highly recommend and ask for the tour guide RIGO he was brilliant)it took us to the poor part of Punta Cana and the better of side it really was an eye opener, if you do go remember to take sweets and treats for the Dominican kids as it really is heart breaking.

You can leave hotel if wanted but beat advised not to.There isnt alot to do apart from going on days out(what you have to pay for)(expensive)or going around the pool or beach.
