Definitely worth paying the extra for the bungalows.

Plenty to do for all tastes, both day time and night life. The hotel wasn't too close to be able to hear all the nightclubs, but was still close enough to walk there, and there were restaurants between the hotel and the centre of the town. We tried different restaurants most nights. There are also plenty of different boat trips and the Waterworld water park is great fun.

Ayia Napa napa is a really nice place with lots of clubs, its also very expensive,
larger was 4 Euros Buggies was 55 Euros for the day.
Its very commercialised now, when you laid on the beach sunbathing you can guarantee there will be a shadow over your shoving a leaflet under your noise advertising clubs and new restaurants and boat rides, you have to clear your windscreen of the car as its always loaded up with leaflets. And most of the girls that work on the bars and clubs parade up the beaches advertising the clubs.
The beaches are beautiful, Nissy beach is great because it has a DJ playing Dance music all day and there is foam parties on the beech, beach bar and food out lets. Its 7.50 Euros a day for 2 sun beds and a parasol, so you need plenty of money with you.
Its great if your in you 20s, I found that most people go clubbing till 5.00 and sleep in till dinner then hit the beaches. If you’re looking for a quite beach and you have hired a car, Fig Tree bay is the second best, in Protaras.
I would visit this resort as I do every year, but don't usually stay in Ayia Napa.

This was our 3rd visit to Cyprus. Ayia Napa is a great resort - lots to do and see. The whole area is very clean - you don't see litter/mess on the pavements/beaches. The only downside is that there is not much for children (i.e no entertainment in the pubs aimed at children as there is in other resorts we have stayed in, such as Alcudia, Salou etc) We would visit Ayia Napa again but probably when our children are older.

Stayed 8th April for 1 week. Major roadworks in the centre caused a bit of dust but are obviously going to make a great difference. Myself and daughter had a chill out holiday. Obviously loads to do although all bars etc were not all open when we were there, which was ok for us. We had a 15 min walk into centre every night after our evening meal. Very lucky the weather was fantastic (in mid 20s)+ a light cardigan for evening wear. The beach next to Napa Mermaid hotel was spotless. Swam every day, water so clear and blue, a bit cool at this time of year but perfect for me.

Napa what can I say, been there so many times with all my family all ages. Don't believe what it says in the paper about the place, it’s brilliant. The beaches are perfect, I was there during Ayia Napa festival with free music and entertainment behind the monastery, Greek music and dancing. Good food in all the restaurants, and really friendly people. And of course the sun shines!

Nissi Beach was a short 10 minute walk away from the apartments and was beautiful, although could do with regular raking so as to remove cigarettte butts. Sun loungers were rented out at a cost of 2.10 euros each plus 2.10 for a parasol. The WaterPark is a mere 5 minutes walk from the apartments and this is a great day out albeit at a cost of 30 euros per person with the extra cost of 5.50 euros for a locker, which at least comes with a key so you can return as many times as necessary, a helpful tip if you are wanting to take in cameras etc.
There are a handful of good restaurants near by which provided a range of delicious dishes. The Kin's Sword Pub had a good atmosphere with daily evening entertainment. The food was a bit tasteless though. Our favourite local restaurant was Agrotikon.... A restaurant and pub next door to each other but owned by the samepeople. Thefood here was first class and utterly delicious!
We also took a day trip to Protaras which was lovely and quite similar to Ayia Napa. The local bus goes right from the hotel to Protaras and cost us 1.50 euros each. We also took the bus to Larnaca for the day which was also a good outing. This trip was 10 euros each for a return ticket and again the bus came right past the apartments. Again, the bus timetable was unreliable and we wre lucky enough to just catch a bus.
Although I was happy with our stay at the Cosmelenia, I don't think I would stay there again as I would want to be nearer the town centre. If I could pick it up and move it 3km nearer, I'd definitely stay there again.
