This was our first visit to Cyprus. This 4 Star All Inclusive hotel is absolutely superb!!

The hotel rooms were very spacious, we had sea view. Rooms kept very clean with towels changed regularly. Public areas were also spotless. This hotel is very spacious and there is plenty of room for all.

The food is fantastic! The choices were great. Very English orientated, plenty of salad etc. The All Inclusive package is brilliant, self service, Carlsberg and local beer, also a local dark beer. Wines are also self service from various drink stations around the complex. Never a queue at anytime.

The hotel is close to Coral Beach which is lovely. A very efficient bus service runs to Paphos Harbour(No: 15)and Paphos Old Town (No: 10), buses run every 20 minutes. There are also bars, shops etc only 5 min walk from hotel.

The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed to much trouble and they were a very happy crew.

The entertainment is provided by the Thomas Cook Entertainment Team Simon, Kerry, Julie, Celina. They work tirelessly to entertain all day. There is always something to do! The evening entertainment is excellent and very funny, Simon in particular is a naturally funny guy and reminds me of a cross between Norman Wisdom & Lee Evans. Julie and Kerry are very good singers/dancers and they put on some great shows.

We returned yesterday and are booking for the first week in March 2007. This hotel is the best we have visited and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My husband and I have stayed at the Ascos before 3 times altogether.

On arriving at Paphos airport on time it took one and half hours to get our suitcases, when we did arrive at the hotel it felt like home.

We left our cases in the lobby and went straight to the bar and got a snack in the area set aside. The food was quite good it was a shame there wasnt enough to choose in cold meats with the salads at lunch time. Tip if you give a tip to the bar waiter he will bring your drinks to the table for you,But be careful dont ask for too many different drinks like we did,we asked for a vodka/diet coke,bacardie/diet coke.and a beer. You will never guess what we got,On tasting the drink didnt taste good we found that they had only mixed the vodka.bacardi.beer and the coke all in the same glass.

We arrived at the same time as the new entertanment team started for the winter. The hotel was clean and we had clean towels every day.The pool bar was closed never opened in past visit the pool bar was always open. One day four times we had to ask for replacement water by the pool.

This is no good for old people who had to go up to the main bar to get their drinks.

This was our first visit to Cyprus and we only booked some three weeks ago I am a fussy eater but we both thought the food was fantastic often at evening meal the Chef was carving the meats it was nice to see veg not having other sauces etc over them. Yes we got new potatoes, Roast Potatoes, jacket potatoes and good old Chips.Breakfast was good old English bacon and eggs etc.

The hotel staff where brill the only gripe I had they all spoke brillant English.
The Resident Entertainment team where very good both my wife and I where often in tears of laughter.

Will we go again YES though we found Cyprus very untidy.

Firstly, can I just add that we've visited the Ascos twice this year - in both May and September. Because of this, I feel that we're in an excellent position to give an in-depth and unbiased account of the hotel, from early season teething problems to the well-oiled machine you experience towards the end of the summer season. We've also been twice before

The Ascos is one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in and have recommended it to many other people.
We have found over the last 5 years that the same people seem to go back at the same time, the staff are very friendly, the food is great and the pool is very inviting!!
Robbie and his team were really fantastic and certainly made our holiday (all 20 of us)

We visited the Ascos for 2 weeks in late August and were very impressed with it. Paphos airport is a bit manic, and the hotel is about 45 mins transfer by coach, but as soon as you walk into reception the air-con hits you and you can start to relax.

The staff we very helpful from the outset, taking of details and administaring your room was efficient and allowed you to start your holiday very quickly.

The room we got was one with a sea-view, on the 1st floor, and also gave great views of the pool and the entertainment area for the evening. The only down side is that you pay extra for a sea-view, despite the fact there is only approx 9 rooms that don't face the sea. Coupled with that, evening entertainment carries on until midnight, and our balcony door was not sound proof, so quiet early nights didnt happen.

Otherwise the room was good, comfortable beds, lots of storage, a fridge, safety deposit box (which will cost you), and a decent balcony. The TV doesn't have a remote unless you rent it from reception, and has only 1 English channel, but greek channels do play the odd English language program or film.

Beach towels can be rented from reception at the cost of a deposit (CY

I have stayed at the hotel before and was very impressed with it the last time hence returning for a second time.

On arrival we were dealt with quickly and efficiently and given our room keys. The staff on the desk were very friendly and very helpful at all times during my stay.

The room we had was always very clean each time the maids came in. It was always hoovered and the bathroom was always spotless.

There was a huge choice of food at the hotel. Throughout our stay we never made it to breakfast but the lunches and evening dinners were of a good standard. There were plenty of salads to choose from and always lots of choices of hot food. There was always fresh bread. There were plenty of choices of drinks both alcoholic and soft.

The entertainment staff were brilliant. They were full of life and added a real buzz to the place. They never made you feel like you had to join in but made it claer that if you did you would enjoy yourself. There was plenty of choices of entertainment both during the day and in the evening. Well don Robbie, Julie, Fay and Gemma you were fab.

Having visited the Ascos before I was very impressed with the entertainment team this year. They provided something for everyone and worked very hard providing first rate entertainment.
The hotel also has a new management team and I must say they are very professional, talking to guest and doing all they can to ensure you have a good holiday.

The food was excellent with a lot of choice. Service from the staff was very good and they generally had a smile for everyone.
The Hotel was spotless and rooms were cleaned daily with towels changed etc.
All in all it was a very enjoyable holiday and I'll have no hesitation in going back there next year or maybe earlier.

This is the second visit to Ascos Beach and it certainly won't be the last. We had a perfect holiday; the choice of food at all mealtimes was excellent, although there seemed to be some delays regarding the toaster, but members of staff tried their best to speed it up and produce evenly browned slices; our room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the whole hotel was spick and span. The location is ideal.

The Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful, even the holiday staff always smiled, and it was lovely to see Andreas, the wonderful barman, still there.

The Entertainment was superlative, Robbie, Julie, Gemma and Faye were fantastic, what an abundance of talent!! They really made our holiday.

Well where shall I start?

Well we had a great time and met some lovely people. The hotel in the bar and evening resturant were really nice on the whole but the local staff in the breakfast and lunch were pretty moody. Dagma, Michael, Martin and friends were lovely and very helpful.

Food- Well I thought it was boring and fine if you only like English food. I was really disappointed because I wanted some Greek and it was only served once a week. They wouldn't grill some Halloumi for me one morning and there was no pitta bread in the whole hotel for the whole week.

Drink- I like a nice wine but it was like vinegar. If you like rose you have to buy it and local spirits taste a bit dodgy. The cocktails were ok but a Baileys in the evening costs
