The Hotel is exremeley clean and the food is very good, rooms are very comfertable and the room service is of a very high standard.
All the hotel staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay.As with all staff their is always one that stands out, from the crowd and that was a bar waiter named Mahmood Sobug whos service was second to none and made our stay more enjoyable.
The General Manager of the hotel was always making his presence known and at hand to ensure your stay was enjoyable.
Overall thanyou Conrad for a very pleasant Christmas and New Year and we will see you later this year.

I was extremely apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but I really can't understand what anyone could possibly complain about. We have travelled all over the world and at most of the 4/5 star hotels the food after the first week is repetitive, but eating at home can also be repetitive, can't it !!.
The rooms are very spacious and yes the bathrooms do require a bit of TLC which as I write this review is being done. What people need to understand is that this resort is open 365 days per year not like in most european countries which are seasonal.
On the subject of the animation team, they are FANTASTIC. If you don't want to join in the FUN just walk 10 metres and go to the beach which is nice and peaceful if you avoid the Italian part. Please be polite to the team as they work their socks off, I don't know anyone who would get out of bed for their wages let alone be happy and smiling all the time. ALI, RONNY, RAMY, KIMO, OSKAR and DESY we will never forget you and indeed we feel that we have gained an Egyptian family. Moving on to the restaurant staff , ESSAM, ASMAA, SAMEH, HASSAN, FATYE, AHMED, MUSTAFA, HANY, MOHEB, SHEBO just to name a few are the best people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, the service is second to none, they cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable.
After the first day of meeting Ahmed our table was set for us including chilled drinks this continued throughout our stay.
We met some very nice people not just from the UK but from Italy and Russia, you will only get out of the holiday what you put into it. Yes some of the Russians were rude but so were some of the British.
All in all a holiday which we will never forget and we are returning for Christmas and New Year 2008 along with some of the other families which we met while at the Conrad.
The New Year festivitiies were out of this world held in a marquee which seated 800 people from all over the world. Entertainment again provided by the animation team superb. Food was brilliant, very good selection. Drinks served throughout the night did not stop at 11pm.
The General Manager, Mr Salama is available to speak to if there is anything that you do not like about the Conrad, he really appreciates your comments good or bad. I have never been to any other hotel where this has happened.
Well done to the Conrad team we can't wait to return see you at Christmas.

If you want a totaly chill out holiday with very friendly attentative staff this is your holiday.
A word of warning if you want the IBEZZA experience get a hotel closer to Namma bay,they have it all.
But back to Conrad we were put in the refurbished part the room was 1st class sea view, balcony, jaccuzi,{yes it was tiny} but dont pay for upgrade till you get there,Sheets and towels changed every day the flowers and towel swans 4 times.rooms imaculate.
Reception all smilling all helpfull.
Restaurant staff were outstanding give them a bit of chat and reap the rewards chefs very obliging and also so very helpfull and friendly.Animation team were exceptional and very hard workers always a smile and full of go.
Bar staff, pool staff, beach staff, even the gardeners made the holiday.
Try a massage it was fantastic. try a quad bike into the desert MENTAL BUT IT HAS TO BE SEEN AND DONE,
Old town heard it was better and cheaper sorry it was repeatative, smelly, and you got a load of hassel.
As a seasoned barterer you could get as good a deal in Namma if you went about it right for less hassel.
As I said if you want to recharge chill out this is the resort for you.

Do not bring your iPod you will not hear it, the pool team have a very good speaker and a power full amplifier for you. Lot of complaints with mini bar bill. Ok but not 5 star at all.

Loved the location, and the snorkelling. Brilliant.
Food was very good, and choice of restaurants really added to our holiday. We both managed to gain at least 10 pounds each!!!!!
Hotel staff were very helpful, but the animation team were the absolute tops! A young girl (Jess) could not have been nicer, and she obviously loves her job. Go Jess GO!!

food was plenty full, different dishes, and to the usual high standard enjoyed on previous visits.
The hotel location (10 minutes from the Airport) makes transfer to the resort relatively easy. The Conrad is situated within 38 acres (Sharks Bay) with its own beach and house reef.
The house reef offers some of the best snorkling / diving in the area and is a must be done.
entertainment has improved considerably from what we endured on previous visit. The animation team work tirlesly all day (Pool) and evening time to provide entertainment for all guests.
will we visit again! yes.

We found all the staff at the Conrad to be extremely friendly and kind and considerate. We were also treated very well by the General Manager (Mr Salama)who on our special day (25th Wedding Anniversary Silver) was so very kind and thoughtful to us and can't thank him enough for the Oscar!! The Restaurant staff are absolutely wonderful from the Managers to the waiters all of them a credit to the Conrad Hotel - Ibrahim, Essam, Tamer, Fathy, Moheb, Mohammed, Bassam, Islam and many more. The food was very nice but was slightly repetative but it is extremely hard to constantly change the menu. Desserts are a real treat and the egg custard is wonderful. The entertainment team worked really hard to keep everybody entertained unfortunately we did not really have much involvement with them during the day as we preferred the Pirates pool because it was quieter and more relaxing which is what we wanted. We watched some of their shows in the evenings and found them amusing but Ali always had some form of agression in the show which after a while became too much with his constant kicking and bullying the rest of the team. We thoroughly enjoyed our second trip to the Conrad and would definitely go again.
