Everyday cleaners were in changing towels and leaving wonderful sculptures on the beds made from towels. The staff were very friendly, and always wished you a good day, nothing you asked for was to much trouble and you were never left sitting with an empty glass.
The location of the hotel was a short taxi ride from Naama bay which cost around

We had three rooms all cockroach infested, everyone same problems.
You can barter at the pharmacy for all your tablets you will need.
This hotel needs new management it is tired and rundown.
I know this is Egypt but you don't expect to go cockroach hunting every time you go in your room. I had to keep awake until my wife fell asleep.
Egypt lovely place nice people, can't understand why no-one else has mentioned the wildlife in the rooms.
Won't be back to this hotel again.

Upon arrival we found our simple request of adjoining rooms had not been met. Our three children, 14, 10 & 10 years were five doors away. Another couple checking in with their children, 20 & 18 years had adjoining rooms whether requested or not. To our delight we were told we would be upgraded to a villa with two en suite bedrooms.
Whilst the villa was spacious the cleanliness and general decor left a lot to be desired. The pattern around the tired bathroom was intriguing until we looked closer and saw it to be an army of ants on the move which only dispersed when water was liberally applied. After a few days of this they seemed to choose an alternative route. We didn't see them again in any great numbers.
Electrical fittings hung off the wall and some of them even worked! The pools (three on site)were filthy. This was brought to the attention of the hotel & they did improve slightly over the holiday.
Food. The hotel caters for many different nationalities and fails miserably. After only two days we all had stomach upsets, ranging from mild diarrhoea to full convulsion stomach cramps. Don't worry the on site pharmacy is well stocked for all your needs at a cost. Medication was much cheaper in Naama Bay if you could get there and back without a change of clothes!
Whilst there we tried all the restaurants, even the ones not part of the all inclusive package. Yes you had to pay. The food was no better here either. We resorted to travelling in to Naama Bay most evenings where we found an excellent modern Italian (Proformo) and Indian restaurant(directly behind the Italian both have shared access, opposite the Cataract Hotel) Here a main costs no more than

On arrival we were told food would be served till 12 midnight I knew this to be untrue but had we waited we would have gone without. Restaurants close at 10pm this means no admittance after 9.45.
On entry to our room it looked clean enough apart from the dingy ceiling panels in the bathroom which were rusty and bearly fixed in place, as I tried to move one which was hanging down it came crashing down revealing loads of dust and dirt.
The food is absolute rubbish, I have eaten better from a street vendor in Bangkok and I'm not kidding. The displays however do look pretty. I succumbed to the bad tummy which seems prevalent at this hotel(even though you'll be told you're the only on with it) and the immodium or arret from the uk won't work. Locally bought stuff seems to ease it.
We were upgraded to a better room which was slighty bigger with a better view but non the less still aged. There are a lot of steps to be bourne in mind if your room is near the beach, we counted 178 but give or take 10 it's about that. So if you have pushchairs or are disabled stay elsewhere.
My daughter who likes wildlife was intrigued to find a dead cockroach in her dinner! In one piece, I was assured by the chef that this is a rare occurance ( I assume they normally get minced up!!) .
And two fruit baskets turned up in our rooms. We recommend that you eat in The Hard Rock cafe in Naama bay this is excellent value and well worth the 50 minute wait.
Drinks at the pool bars are served in plastic cups, thats the ones we get in vending machines, that means you need about 8 to have a decent drink of beer as they are half filled with froth.
The one member of staff who was excellent at his job was the man at the bottom pool who always made sure we each had a clean towel each day and that sun beds were available, he did this without asking for anything in return.
The evening entertainment is non existant I counted 9 tables and 48 chairs on one occasion and 13 tables and 50 chairs on another, this hotel had 1300 guests on these nights, I know because I asked. (I assume they don't want you there drinking freely).
The queues for the bar inside varied from 2/3 people to 18 one night, if you approach the staff (1 will be serving and 3 will be watching) you'll be told that a waiter/ress will take your order, I promise that Not Once did the order arrive correct, it was either the wrong drinks or the wrong quantity, after 2 complaints in the same evening I gave up and went to Naama bay.
I have never been to a hotel where so many people play cards in the evening this should have been the warning.
Although this is the worst hotel I've stayed in I want to praise my holiday company and in particular the Rep Kelly who was brilliant and did her upmost to resolve all matters.
If you're Going to Sharm Don't stay Here.. Having had a look around there are some much nicer places in Naama..
Please take my word for it this is an awful hotel even my suitcase which is a hardshell Samsonite got damaged. (I refused to tip the baggage boy for being rude, whether this had something to do with it..who knows) and although there are safes in the rooms they don't work.
There are security boxes at reception (178 steps away!!) but if the bigger ones have gone you won't get your larger valubles in the smaller ones. On one day a mobile phone, gold earrings, gold necklace, and a gold ring went missing from our room, Whilst I accept I should have made the journey to reception before going to the pool I didn't. I have been to over 50 countries world wide and as said earlier this is the worst hotel ever!.. You have been warned!!

We had to give our room number before entering a resturant, no matter if it was for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which implied that if you wasnt happy with the food that you couldnt go and try what they were serving at another resturant. There wasnt enough glasses to go round, we found we had to wait for a drink, and sometimes didnt get 1 at all with our food, also had to ask for knifes and forks at times. We had decided to eat in a different resturant 1 night and after having a starter, went to get a main, when we got back to our table our glasses had been taken even tho there was still drink in them! the same meal when leaving the table to get desert, the waiter had cleared the table, and was laying it for the next people to eat,we hadnt finished and had left things on the table to show it was still being used!
I only saw 1 member of staff smile in the whole 2 weeks unless they had just recived a tip.
Entertainment just didnt exsist! we have never seen so many people sat around playing cards on an all inclusive holiday.
After our 2nd night we had to get our rep to get us moved to a different room due to the cockroaches, not that it made any differnce,we had more wild life in the second room, crickets, ants, a lizard and yet more cockroaches!
We wouldnt return to this hotel and dont recommend it!

First impressions were that his hotel was ideal we arrived at 9.30p.m. And for the first time in all our years taking holidays we were given a decent meal on arrival. Booking in at the reception was easy and after a good nights sleep we began to look around.
The room was what we asked for on booking but not at the standard we or anyone could expect for a five star hotel, tiles loose on the floor, safety deposit box locked and no-one knew the code, hair dryer had no hose, bathroom just a disgrace to say the least.
More was to follow, it took us a couple of days to settle in at the hotel it was huge, we were told that it was full most of the year max capacity 3000 people in over 500 rooms and looking around we believed what we were told. To try and keep you interested in this report I will keep it shortish I could write for ever!
No draught beers at all, every drink of beer comes in a half pint tumbler which is only half full, if your lucky you will get a cold drink but do not expect one if you do get one then consider yourself very lucky. Drinks at the pool side were served in plastic which was sensible but again queues and people with bad manners pushing in front made a simple request into an unbelievable marathon.
Food was presented in all the restaurants very well and the food was and looked very good, shame the cooks spoilt it. If you like variation then forget it we found this very poor even one of the cooks said that she did the same thing day in day out. True there were several different places to eat but like others have said you do have to book or pay extra especially the fish restaurant but if you
value your health then you won

The facts:
Hotel Cleanliness: They keep it clean, it's just run down, paving stones need relaying in alot of places, especially the pool area, our door handle fell off in the bathroom, soap holder also fell off, we only put the soap in it.
Hotel Food: Looks good but we were warned after reading the reviews, we were very careful what we ate, all 3 of us were ill and we still are after being home 3 days. Everyone we spoke to had been ill at some time.
Hotel Location: Simply an excellent location.
Hotel Staff: Were ok but better if you tipped them.
Entertainment: Was a joke.

The Pyramisa is definitely not a 5 star, probably a 3 at best. The place IS clean generally, apart from cups and cigarette ends everywhere around the pool, left by lazy Russians and Italians mainly.
We were there for 1 week, and I was sick for 4 of those days, thanks to some dodgy food. More than likely a burger from the snack bar on beach one. The food is generally rubbish in my and my girlfriend

We arrived late to the hotel as we were delayed (Air Atlanta area a nightmare)
We pulled upto the hotel and was wowed. It was fantastic, it was huge very very grand. We then were taken to our room (we have to tip twice) and we had been upgraded to a huge room (If I had paid the
