Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Sharm el Sheikh is a huge resort, some 28Kms from one end to the other, so you can always find a bit of it that suits you, form peace & quiet, to clubbing the night away.

the hotel we stayed in was like a different place compared to the rest of nabq, there was rubbish all over the pavements and on the vast wastelands at the sides of the roads, where we often saw dead animals and locals throwing large bags of rubbish. the taxis and vehicles were really annoying as they were constantly beeping at each other and people walking down the street and if you kept walking they chased you trying to get you to get in the taxi. we went to the shops next to our hotel and the shopkeepers were very aggressive and rude and tried pulling our friends physically into a shop and when they refused the shopkeepers got aggressive with them, this put us off shopping and venturing to far from our hotel. the good thing was that mcdonalds and kfc delivered to the hotel and they had double big macs with 4 burgers instead of 2 and they also did fillet of fish macs which i had never seen before. we went to the beach twice and didnt think it was really our scene so stayed at the pool for the duration of the holiday. we had a trip to cairo and booked quad biking with sharm excursions and they were a really good company, the quad biking was amzing and we did it twice, we bought our photo which they printed onto a papyrus with the date and everything.

resort itself is two different areas old sharm is a 15 min walk through the front entrance, a lot of hassle but its almost real egypt.out the back entrance is hadaba with a souk and many bedouin cafes, shisha pipes and also la weila al le weila. also out there is el mercarto shopping mall with kfc mcdonalds and other resteraunts and bars.hotel beach is a dump, get a taxi 20egyptian to the beach near the lighthouse.i prefer hadaba area to naama bay

Resort was clean although pool was not so good.
Entertainment was hit and miss.
Beach was not good at all,the only plus was there were lots of sun beds with a welcome wind breaker. The water was too shallow for a long way out then choppy out deep but hardly any coral of fish.
The music from the next door hotel was terrible. If you sat to the left on the beach the pong from the resident camel was carried along in the wind.If you sat to the right you had the hotel next doors music and coral sea pool music blaring out.I was listening to Dirty dancing song mixed with heavy clubbing music one day!!
We wouldnt go back to this hotel as we are beach lovers and other than there being plenty of sunbeds and fresh water showers it was a huge disapointment.

We only visited Nama Bay 4 times as trying to get over the roads are a nightmare. In Britain if someone flashes their lights at you it is to tell you to cross not there it is to tell you get out the way i am not stopping my heart was in my mouth each time we went. You do get hassle from the shop owners but it is part of the place and you get used to it. We only visited the camel bar and had a few drinks and it was fine. The only beach we went to aws the Sonesta Club and it was okay we had a swim in the sea but found it to be to enclosed and even there you got hassled to go on trips.

Sharm is a great resort with large hotels, visited Naama bay where there is a Hard Rock Cafe and loads of shopping available, also a KFC and McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc if you want those kind of outlets, you do get hassled by the local shopkeepers but if you kindly refuse they are no real bother to you.

Outside of the hotel, there is a fair bit to see within Nabq. There's a local McDs, BK, KFC, Starbucks if thats your thing a couple of other restaurants and shops.
We walked down to the Jasmine Centre a couple of nights, to the St Georges Bar (where we booked our Cairo trip). You DO get a bit of hassle from the shopkeepers (far less than in Na'ama Bay) but there's plenty to stroll around to pass an evening.
The main attraction in the resort has to be the beach/sea. Its amazing. Barely knee deep for a couple of hundred metres, angelfish/pufferfish/etc swimming round your ankles. You will want a pair of water shoes as its very rocky. We picked ours up from the 24 hour supermarket for about £3 a pair. Walk out a bit further to the edge of the coral, and it really is like swimming in an aquarium - hundreds of small and medium sized fish, with a fair handful of larger ones too. No problem with jellyfish and although there are a LOT of urchins, they're really easy to see and avoid.

This resort is a great place to stay, alot of hotels are placed round the Soho Square, Savoy, Sierra, Hilton and Sunrise. There is plenty going on if you want to venture from your hotel on an evening, you can even go ice skating!
