Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Only ventured out of the complex once, and that was enough. The cars just keep beeping at you and the traders shout English English come into my shop. Although we did manage to get a good deal on cigarettes.

Sharm its self is very busy but at the hotel you are in your own tranquil world which can be as busy or as relaxing as you want it to be.

Stayed at Coral sea resort. Beach at our hotel was exceptionaly clean. There was always someone picking up litter or dog ends.Sand compacted with a roller so isn`t loose.Plenty of activities available, a face mask and snorkell is £2 for the day. Sea shallow at our hotel you had to walk out a long way before it got deep, at low tide

Beach - you are right on top of the beach and it's fantastic. you can walk our for about half a mile before it starts getting deep and it's great for the kids as fish are everywhere!! The sand is lovely and soft too. we saw squid, sea snakes, puffer fish. i would recommend anyone to buy a snorkel set to appreciate the full beauty of the red sea. there is a pontoon, which takes you out quite a way and even then it's only waist high when you get in. The water temperature around mid to late afternoon it lovely and warm. My only word of advice is don't swallow the water or get it in your eyes as it is extremely salty but this can be quite fun also as it's really easy to float on the water. off to your right is another pontoon, which is twice as long and belongs to the Grand Azure hotel. The guys at the end of this one get very funny if you are not a guest in their hotel and won't let you off the end. my advice is to walk along the smaller pontoon an cross the water to the end of the larger pontoon for some super snorkelling where you will see loads of beautiful fish just off the reef shelf.
if you do get bored with the hotel food there is a McDonald's just opposite, which is quite reasonable.
Be careful when leaving the hotel complex as the local's can be a bit overpowering so don't let your kids go wondering without you.

The resort of Naama Bay is very busy with the Egyptian shop owners very intimidating, not a relaxed atmosphere. The resort was clean on the surface! There was little resort entertainment, and the little there was was very poor. The Beach at the hotel however was spotless and very good for snorkelling and diving. I would not visit this resort again and would not recommend this resort or hotel to others.

The whole beach area was very clean along with the streets where the shops were. We did not venture out of an evening but were told this is the best time to do your shopping.

Area of A/I hotels so not much need for many more facilities. New "high class" shopping area just about finished. A few of the shops are open and there is a lovely indian and chinese restaurant newly opened a couple of hundred yards from hotel. Also an ice rink!
The "beaches" are part of the hotels and are bordered by coral reefs so access to sea is via jetties. Don`t miss the opportunity to snorkel - UNBELIEVABLE!
At the airport don`t join the queue thinking it is for passport control. The windows all sell visas, go to one with a sign up for $15 and that is all you will pay (take dollars with you of course). You do NOT need a visa unless you plan to stay longer than 14 days or travel outwith the resort eg. to Cairo.
