Location
The accomodation is actually quite nice, ok its not luxurious, but clean and basic. The maid comes everyday to clean and bed linen and towels are changed about twice weekly.
The food is ok too-
Breakfast is ok, but if you dont fancy it, do what we did and eat after 10am, they then have Toasties and Pizzas on the go and they are delicious!
Lunch is Salads and 1 hot dish, usually something like Spagetti Bolognase.
Dinner is Soup, several Salads and the choice of about Three hot dishes with either rice, pasta or chips. Only complaint about the food is it could be hotter, but it didn't spoil it. There is a barbecue once a week too and the food is great, coffee and Icecream is good too.
The entertainment is interesting! Must admit we found the Singers and Karaoke probably more amusing than impressive, but hey, everyone joined in and it was a great laugh!
Location I thought was perfect, off the main road quiet, away from the traffic, OK there is a bit of a hill up to the hotel about 150 mtrs or so and it may bother the elderly, but certainly didnt bother us.
All Inclusive Bar closes at 9.30, some people got enough drinks in before it closed to last them the night and nothing at all was said to them. Anyway there is usually a curfew on All Inclusive drinks, wherever you stay. We however, went for a walk to the local bars most nights, then returned to the hotel for last drinks.
The best thing about the hotel has to be the staff, they were absolutely superb, from the cleaners and receptionists through to the hotel manager, everyone was so warm, friendly and helpful they really made the holiday for us. They worked such long hours, but even then always had time for the guests. The barmen/waiters/poolboys/porters/cooks/wasp catchers and to be honest, general daytime entertainment that came in the form of Ben, Giovanni and Pedro, were brilliant!
We would definitely return to the hotel Telemachos and would urge anyone who is about to go on holiday there to remember that its a 2star hotel, for 2 star prices, but you definitely get more than you pay for!
Have a great holiday!

What people need to remember is that it is 2* not 5*!!! It was basic but it was perfect for the basic holiday that we were both looking for.
The food was fine, sometimes there could have been more choice but there was always plenty to eat. Plenty of fresh salad and bread as well as cooked foods. The food at the all inclusive bar was ok, not the best but if you fill up at the meal times you don't need to eat it. The ice cream is nice and the pizza is also ok.
The only complaint that I had with the hotel was the fact that the all inclusive bar shut at 9.30 and that they only had vodka, rum, whiskey and ouzo. It would have been better if they had sold some drinks that I liked. But I was happy with all of the soft drinks like coke, diet coke, tango etc.
The maids were excellent and cleaned every day and gave fresh sheets and towels twice a week.
The staff are friendly and we got to know them well by the end.
A must do is the excursion 'beach bbq'. It was the most perfect lovely day out. You will feel like you

We both work in the travel industry, so I guess we knew what to expect. The hotel certainly exceeded our own expectations.
All Inclusive - definitely worth doing, as the pool bar (the only place you can buy drinks) is typically expensive.
The All Inclusive bar is staffed by one person, and opens daily at 1000, closing at 2130. I'll say again, the free food and drinks stop at 2130! Quite a few people were miffed about the alcohol stopping at 2130. But, plan your evenings a little, and you can make the most of it! We spent the first part of the evening in the hotel, til 2130(!), then took the short taxi ride into Ipsos (costs about 10 Euro each way) for the nightlife.
The standard of the food is again, typically Greek, but more than you would expect from a 2 star property. It's not the same food day in day out either, the Greek/Italian family that run the hotel seem to like their food and are very proud of what they produce. There was always a few choices of salad and then around 4 choices of hot dishes. Not always a desert on offer though, but luckily we dont have a sweet tooth!
A typical Greek hotel really, quite small, and in a location at the top of a winding drive (up hill). Quite an unimpressive reception area, dated decor. But then you dont come on holiday to admire the reception!
Previous reviews have stated that the Tilemachos is at the top of a hill, which makes it sound like to get to it is like climbing Everest. It's not all that bad, but I would definitely show caution if you or your travelling companions are less able bodied. It is quite steep, especially when climbing in the heat of the midday sunshine.

There was very little selection which most of it made me want to vomit, on a couple of occasions my partner actually did.
The drinks were fine but the only problem we had was that the bar closed at 21:30 although the very expensive paying bar was open until late (very smart eh!!!).
I must stipulate though that the staff were ace, they could not have been more helpful.

There are 2 pools which was great because it kept all the splashing sprogs out of the adult one!!
The bar is right next to the pool, serving cocktails, coffee, local beer etc. Yes it was expensive but hey, your on holiday, if you can't spend on holiday when can you??
The rooms were kept clean, towels/bedding changed a couple of times during the week. Bins emptied every day.
The food was ok, nothing special, but certainly edible. Whilst we were there we had Lasagne, beef stew, a barbecue with loads of great meat, lot's of salad, the feta cheese was divine!! Pudding was generally jelly, fruit or creme brulee. There was always soup to start with as well.
The staff were all very helpful, there were quite alot of peope working there, so we never figured out who the actual owner was.
The hotel has it's own shop (past reception) full of emergency things like shampoo/conditioner/insect repellent (a must in Greece!!)
We were very very worried about staying in this hotel after reading many bad reports on different web pages but I really wouldn't worry because we had a very enjoyable holiday, and like many before me have written - you have paid for a 2 star hotel - deal with it - you get what you pay for!!
Enjoy your holiday

The all inclusive guests were treated like 2nd class citizens, we could only get food and drinks from a small hut in a well hidden, shaded area over the far side of the pool, the food available to us was pizza slice, ice cream, hot dog or cheese on toast and the small selection of local drinks we were allowed were served in plastic cups and only until 9:30pm, stockpiling drinks was also frowned upon. We were not allowed to use our all inclusive privileges in the inside bar or the poolside bar. The food available at lunch and dinner was un-varied and un-appetising with stale bread and one desert each night, I stuck to soup for the most part accompanied by warm bitter tasting wine or tepid tap water.
I found the staff miserable, unfriendly and unhelpful. The entertainment was dire, there was a quiz, a karaoke, a female vocalist, a BBQ and the highlight of the entertainment was a Greek night with traditional dancers which was actually pretty good.
On an upside the pool was lovely and there was a separate shallow pool for children which was the only child friendly aspect to the hotel.

We hired a car for a couple of days and were told if you use a certain company the packed lunch would be provided free, we got one cheese roll and one can of drink each (whoopi do)drinks stopped at 9.30 just as the entertainment started which consisted of some Albanian twins dancing, the drunk gardner waving his arms around a ring of flame and a guy called Kavos on the organ all he seemed to do was sit at the key board smoking wilst playing pre recorded tunes.
There was a flasher on a moped outside the hotel and on the beach a guy around 70 was asking the ladies on the beach if they wanted sex and then going to play with himself in the bushes.
All in all I would not send my worse enemy to this dump.
