There is no entertainment to comment on but there is so much on offer nearby but I would give a big thumbs up to the Alexandros Taverna left along the beach with beautiful bay view and fantastic food and service.

Ask for a room at the rear of the property otherwise you will be disturbed by road and bar noise. Nikos Taverna - lovely hosts and good food.

As we weren't based in the centre of Roda we only visited during the day. It is small and not enough to keep anyone interested for a week or more. We can't comment on personal findings regarding entertainment in Roda, only from what other peoples comments. Some bars had entertainment and regular 'tribute acts'.

Beach a bit shingly so you've got to watch your feet getting in and out of the water, but very nice. Very shallow sloping so it's ideal for going in with kids or people who aren't so confident in the water.

The resort was also a perfect size: not full of drunks wandering around, but with a few bars open until late if you wanted it. Nice, small resort, but not too small. Perfect for a quiet family holiday.

I'd be very surprised if we don't return - we met plenty of others who had (one couple back at the Roda Oasis 5th year in a row, one couple in the resort for the 30th year in the last 40)

Roda is such a lovely place, we have been 2 years in a row and are returning again this summer. The locals are warm and friendly and dont hassle you to eat in their restraunts. The beach is small but ideal and there are plenty of bars, cafe's and restaraunts with something for everyone. Roda is by far our favourite place in Corfu.

The streets were clean, and free from rubbish. Walking around the resort at night we felt safe and comfortable as the streets are all well lit. There are numerous good restaurants along the beach front and up the main road which cater for all tastes: chinese cuisine, indian, tex-mex, traditional english, traditional greek, italian and many many more. We stayed for 10 days and ate out every evening sampling a different restaurant nearly every time. The food standard was very high and very well priced considering the standard. The two of us could go to dinner with 20 euros and have a delicious starter, main course and drinks. There was not much in the way of entertainment, a few bars held quiz nights and bingo etc but nothing that appealed to us necessarily. We found one bar which showed the cricket and football matches and also had on the english soaps etc so was very popular with those who wanted to catch up on anything they missed. The resort itself is great for couples looking for a romantic holiday, or for families with young kids. It is quiet, peaceful and home to lovely, welcoming locals.
