There is no entertainment to comment on but there is so much on offer nearby but I would give a big thumbs up to the Alexandros Taverna left along the beach with beautiful bay view and fantastic food and service.

Ask for a room at the rear of the property otherwise you will be disturbed by road and bar noise.
Nikos Taverna - lovely hosts and good food.

A nice small resort, safe for kids and teenagers.
Usual thing for a holiday resort.
At least there are no pushy people trying to sell timeshare and excursions.

Roda is a brilliant place if you want peace & quiet, a beautiful beach and warm sea. The locals are some of the nicest people we have ever met. There are many coach and dream boat cruises to lots of beautiful places. There are loads of greek and english tavernas and the food everywhere was excellen, Though we ate mainly at the "Captains" place -Newport taverna- on the beach front most nights. Great food and staff! You can walk all the way along the sea front to Acharavi, the next village. We spent a lost less than we thought as everything was reasonably cheap. On the down side- The Golden Sun rep was never available and unhelpful when you found him! Beware of mosquitos in August and take your repellent. Despite the poor accomodation we had a fantastic week - we moved to Ninos on the Beach for the last three days and that was superb-We will be going back to Roda next year.

For some Reason Roda has slowing go downhill over the past 3 years and is now very quiet, the up and coming resot in this area is now Kassiopi, most of the hotels in Roda DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONED ROOMS as as the temperatures in August were reaching the early 40's it is a necessity., am afraid would not visit Roda again, and have changed our holiday to Rhodes Town to a 5 star hotel, only cost another £100 per person.

The resort was very good. It was about a 10 minute walk into Roda which there were good bars and restaurants which had the footie on (Liverpool!) Also just down the beach there was a great little bar were me and a friend found. It had a excellent pool table and rented pedelos out which were great fun.

As we have been to this resort before, we know what it is like.
As usual, the cleanliness of the resort was good; no rubbish on the streets etc.
Resort entertainment was bad as it is a quiet resort.
Beach standard was good: the sea not very deep or rough.
I would recommend to anyone this resort and I hope people who are booking to go there enjoy it just as much as we did.

Roda is a relitively small village type resort.
There are plenty of Tavernas, bars shops and minimarts etc.
There are a few Disco bars but this is not the place to come if you like plenty of night clubs.
The beach is not bad but is shingly and there is often sea weed in the sea, but once you get past the edge the sea is lovely and clean.
The beach doesn't get over crowded and there are plenty of sunbeds and brollys for hire.
I am a regular visitor to Roda as It has everything I need but not too commercialised and spoilt.

Centre of resort just a short walk from hotel, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Plenty of bars showing soaps etc and of course football!
Beach had plenty of sunbeds and bars nearby.
This resort although small had all you needed for a realxing holiday, I would recommend you hire a car as the island is beautiful and is very easy to navigate around and the roads aren't too bad just avoid the mountains unless you are in a jeep!

Roda has it's fair share of 'British' bars but where doesn't these days!!Mainly bars and restaurants so more suited to families than those wanting all night music, hence no 'lager louts'(thank God!!).Prices seemed very good though. The beach is OK but visitors do tend to scatter rubbish rather than walk to the bin, so cant' blame that on the resort.Roda is quite a small resort and so you can walk around it in around 30 mins or so.
Will definately go back.
Will definately go back.

roda was a small town, but had enough in it to wander around, we found the big ben pub on the seafront very hospitable
