There is no entertainment to comment on but there is so much on offer nearby but I would give a big thumbs up to the Alexandros Taverna left along the beach with beautiful bay view and fantastic food and service.

Ask for a room at the rear of the property otherwise you will be disturbed by road and bar noise.
Nikos Taverna - lovely hosts and good food.

Roda was very clean but a lot of stray dogs which were very friendly but very thin and needed some tlc.
Resort ideal for families and we would visit again.

Airport was a bit of a nightmare. Way too small, but representatives from First Choice were very helpful.
Cleanliness on the resort was not too bad - Seen worse. Plenty of lovely restaurants with entertainment.
Beach not too bad but not very wide and sand is damp. Some seaweed, but what do you expect from the sea! Water clean. Not a beach to pay a particular visit to but okay for a couple of hours for the kids.
We hired a couple of cars and drove around the island, which doesn't take very long really. Visited Gouvia, Palekanstrista (?), Corfu Town etc. Well worth hiring a car and seeing the mountains and all along the coast. We also visited the Acharavi Hydropolis water park rather than the Aqualand, we found it much cheaper, closer to Roda (8 euros by taxi) and just as much fun.
The village of Roda is not very big and is not filled with clubs or loads of british pubs etc. Definitely visit this resort again. Locals very friendly but not in your face and dragging you in to their establishments.

The staff do keep the resort all very clean though and they all work hard in the lovely grounds which are covered in lovely shrubs and flowers.
There is no rubbish around as any is picked up very quickly but people do use the bins provided, which was nice to see.
The Entertainment is fun and when the Brits, Germans and French get together you cannot fail but to have fun. Well done to all of you.
The beach was a big disappoinment. Having visited other Greek Islands it was a bit of a come down.
I don't know if I would visit again, The above comment on the Restaurant is serious, I like to feel relaxed when I eat. If I forget about that side of things well yes it is family orientated holiday, and can one relax on holiday when you have kids? Only other parents can answer that one.

I didn't really notice any rubbish in Rhoda, if there was any there wasn't much otherwise I would have noticed. We did meet a couple of pups along the way but they were soon taken care of by bar owners.
The entertainment was just what we wanted for a quiet holiday, it was great to be able to sit outside a bar until 3-4 in the morning and not come home with a banging headache because of the music.
There was so much choice in restaurants and they were all great, the owners and staff were so friendly, the best I've ever come across on a beach holiday. The prices were great also.
The beach was surfice can be a but rough on the feet at the time but its done wonders for my skin!
Only advice I would give would be to get a good mozzy repellant, I was eaten to death and had to go to the doctors everyday I was there, the 24 doctors near the mexican restaurant were so good much better treatment then you would get in the uk!
Oh and another thing stay away from Paradise beach or "wasp beach" as we named it!!

the resort was nice, though the beach was pebbly the sandy beach was about a 30 minute walk, there were alot of bars in the town although we only went to them a couple of times they had karaoke. there was a horse a carriage which took you through the town for 20 euros.there were alot of shops which sol hand bags, belts, perfume, and alsorts of different things.

The resort was very relaxing. It wasn't overcrowded, the beach was excellent, the restaurants and bars were friendly and served good food.
Took a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon which was really nice.

Roda itself is OK with a decent selection of restaurants and bars and is quite a friendly resort that doesn't get rowdy. However, a walk to the neighbouring town of Acharavi is well worth doing to experience a different atmosphere and if you have children a visit to the Acharavi waterpark is a must. The only criticism I have of Roda is that there is not much to do for children.

Roda is great for families and couples.
It is not too commercialised but there are enough bars and restaurants to keep you amused for a fortnight. The beach is lovely and sandy and you can walk out a long way into the sea without it getting to deep.
We never had a bad meal in the 14 days we were there so without naming individual restaurants I would say try them all, we tried to!
As for prices we were averaging 40 euros a meal for a family of four with drinks. Beer cheapest 1.70e dearest 2.50e.
We are definitely coming back to Roda, and I can't pay it a higher accolade than that!
