Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.
Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

Going back to the day trips we used selini travel as you come out of the driveway turn left and about 100 yds on the right hand side you will find helen and louise two very friendly people who will be willing to sell you daytrips at a very reasonable price. The trip to paleo/ bella vista is highly recommended if you are into beautiful scenery, also do the beach BBQ and corfu town. There are loads of shops and resturants in sidari try the Three Little Pigs there greek night is something not to be missed it starts at about 9.20 pm with greek fire dancing then restarts again at 9.45 with more greek fire dancing and plate smashing and the food is 5* aswell. The only problem with getting into sidari is the crossing of the little bridge its quite smelly so be prepared to hold your breath for a few minutes. The beaches are cleanish we didn't use these because the water is freezing so we chose to swim and sunbathe at the pool instead although we did go down to the canal d' more a few times. which was easily accessable from the rear of the Kahula club at the Zafiris.
Would I go back to corfu...YES...Zafiris Apartments...Yes

The resort was very lively: perhaps more suited to the 18-30 group, the beach was nice with good bars and good views.Had everything we needed on our doorstep, but on the whole it is extremely noisy throughout the night:(would not bring children here!!)
The locals are very welcoming to the Brits and definitely made the holiday.

Sidari has something for everyone. We were located in the canal d'amour which was really quiet although had a good selection of shops and restaurants(The Village and Kahlua are worth a visit).
The main street of sidari was only a 5minute walk away were you were spoilt for choice regarding restaurants, bars and entertainment. Lady Jayne at Fagin's is a must!!!
The main beach was not the nicest of beaches but had all the water sports..Try the crazy squab if you dare. Helen from Selini travel is adorable and you will get all your excursions a lot cheaper from her.
If you like nightlife you have it... If you like quietness you have it... If you like exploring you have it. We would definitely go back.

Would return again because as I said Sidari is what you want it to be, whatever age. For me relaxation and good food are the two key ingredients. Both these are available in Sidari,

We enjoyed staying in Sidari. It suited the type of holiday we were after. We tended to use the pool by our appartment complex more than the beach as the children preferred it but the beach was nice. Make sure you swim through the Canal D'Amour.
We went on several excursions, a boat trip/beach bbq which was excellent, and a couple of water parks. Would recommend Aqualand, we had a great time there, the kids loved it (as did we!). Book your excursions locally as they are a lot cheaper than going through your holiday rep.
We visited lots of different Tavernas in the evenings, we went back to the Three Little Pigs on several occasions as it was such a lively place and the food was good. Fire dancing and plate smashing - not to be missed. The owner Spiros made us very welcome, giving us a free round of drinks and a bottle of wine each on our last night!
Don't bother with Damas Yard, food not bad but waitress service leaves a lot to be desired!
On the whole, a top location for a relaxing chilled out holiday - we'd definitely recommend it.

Sidari is a friendly lively place where every varied ages would be welcomed, the noise is going on throughout the night but the entertainment and restaurants are all nice.
I was shocked at how fast the money collectors for the beach are over your shoulder for a payment.
Iwould choose this resort again for a quick get away.

Sidari is a good place to stay. Although not much to do there during the day. We spent alot of time around the hotel pool (which is not some thing we usually do). The night life was brilliant lots of bars and resteraunts.

The resort was a bit of a let-down as there wasnt a lot there, just a few shops. However, I did enjoy the horse-and-cart rides, they were really good!!

Sidari is a brilliant place to go on hoiday and we would all definetly love to return. It is just like spain but the people are nicer, they seem to appriciate tourists more and they genuinly want you to come back. It is a bit behind the times, eg, the roads are very narrow and there are lots of coach trips and airport transfers happening every day, so you can imagine the hassle when 2 buses meet! There are a few nutter flying about on bikes and cars, so keep to the side of the road.
There is a small river that crosses the road from the apartments to the main Sidari strip, it does smell, just pure stagnant water giving off lots of methane. You only smell it when you cross the bridge, after that you cant. the tide doesnt rise and fall very much in corfu, so the water doesnt flow from the river.
Other than that its brilliant, lots to see and do, great views, lots of coves and sneeky places to sunbath and dive off rocks into the sea.
There are lots of shops, and they dont mind haggling on prices either, so dont take whats on the price tag as the real price!
The night life on the main sidari strip is good, lots of bars competeing with each other, so lots of free shots to keep you. Just threaten them with leaving for another pub and they will give you more drinks! Shakers was a great cocktail bar, staff are great and the cocktails even better, proper strong cocktails that get you drunk, not the watered down stuff you get elsewhere!!
We didnt go on many excursions, we were only there for a relaxing week, but there is plenty to do elsewhere on the island. It doesnt take long to reach other resorts, we went on a 45min bus trip to a place just outside corfu town for a First Choice Greek Night, this is the only thing I do not recommend doing on the holiday. It was 41 Euros each, the food was horrible and the free wine was even worse (unless you like drinking vinegar!). You couldn't get any other food there and the bar was selling small bottles of amstel and bacardi breezers at 4 Euros each!!!
It is a rip off as the entertainment wasnt even that good either!
If you want to experience a greek night, there are plenty of them in sidari itself, look around, ask around and find a decent one in a restaurant!
Definetly recommend Sidari and Zafiris Apartments for an all round excellent holiday!
