Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.
Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

Sadari is holiday hell. awful beyond belief. Full of young boozers full of aggression. A place to avoid unless you like to get drunk, insult the greek way of life and puke in the streets.

The resort has gone well down hill its now more of a club 18 to 30 or a mini Cavos the bars are now more concerned with getting the young crowd in, blaring music, and not proper drinks??
The beach is worse than last year if that was possible. If i go back it will be on the outskirts and not in the centre.
I spoke to 5 girls from England who went for 9yrs but this time they stayed in San stefanos, as they put it, for a 5euro taxi trip they can have it as loud or quite as they want.
The main road is now a place to race bikes, fight or just shout and scream, throw up or have sex !!!

Beach is the best and the coast line is great. you must hire one of the motor boats. Resort caters for all which gives the place a good mix of young, families and old.
would go back

Sidari is a beautiful place, a visit to the canal d amour is a must and only a 10 min walk from the hotel, but you must take your camera!
The beaches are sandy and clean, it will cost you about 8 euros to hire 2 sunbeds and a brolly, well worth it. If you do fancy venturing away from sidari, the local excursion agents are really cheap and they are well worth the money.
We hired a speedboat for the afternoon, you can travel upto 23 kilometers either side of sidari and the views are breath taking, and it is a great way to cool down.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink and the prices are reasonable, but a visit to Napoleans Bar on the beach front is must, they are so friendly, they try and teach you basic greek, which was fun and it is very cheap.
We can't wait to go back and this is the first holiday we have been on and plan to return next year! If you are going, we hope you have as much fun and relaxation as we did.

Sidari was lovely, lots for everyone. "The Strip"was lovely during the day with lots of shops, bars and restraunts all offering good value for money. At night it was very busy and lively (not great for kids) but never seen any trouble. The other end to Sidari (towards Canal D'Amour) was full of great family bars & restraunts. Try The Three Little Pigs it has fantastic food and the waiters do a great Greek dancing & fire show every night at around 9pm. If your not too happy with the pool at your apartments then you can use one of the many pool bars along the streets, the Mimosa does a full english breakfast for 2 Euros & has a lovely pool you can use, also the Petra bar has a very good pool and very reasonable snack bar. A must is the Planet bar passed Canal D'Amour the pool is lovely, food is good & staff are very friendly. Sidari was clean and the people very friendly, we'll be going again but to different appartments!

The river at Canal d'Amour is disgusting, you have to hold your breath every time you cross the bridge.
The main town is very busy but has a nice atmosphere, beach looks ok but im a pool person, I have seen the changes over the years and hope not much more is built, it is certainly very busy now.
Book excursions in the town, pop in and say hello to Philip he is a love, but eveywhere you go in Sidari everyone is very friendly.

The resort of Sidari has changed alot in the last 10 years. It is very busy and the main street is lined with bars, taverna's, souvenir shops etc.
There are no pavements in Corfu, so walking along the road is a feat in itself, especially with the Greek drivers! BEWARE. It can get abit rowdy on a night, especially with the locals riding around on mopeds and motorbikes, so watch out when crossing the roads.
The shops sell alot of tat, but you can still find some nice little trinkets to bring back home. Some of the bars/taverna's are nicely presented and tend to have someone at the entrance trying to entice you in. There is now a McDonalds and they are opening a KFC soon!. There are a few English Bars (The Red Lion, Mikey's Bar etc) if you miss home, but there are plenty of proper Greek Taverna's for those who like to sample the local food.
Almost everyone speaks English so communication isn't a problem, but they do like it if you at least attempt the lingo.
The beach is OK, with dark sand. It's not very deep so i would imagine it gets very busy in the summer. There are sunbeds and peddalo's for hire. It tends to get alot of seaweed, but that does get cleaned up every few days. The water is shallow so good for kids.
Generally a nice place to go.

Sidari is very clean there was a few stray dogs but I never saw any dog mess lying about. Streets are very clean. Plenty of bars near to the Zafiris, excellent restaurants nearby also.
