Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.
Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

The location could not have been better and the resort was so clean. The resort entertainment was fabulous too.

Very nice resort. Everything you would want was on your doorstep.

I was very pleased with the overall look of the resort, not an over-crowded plae but a nice mixture of people of all ages.
I was a little disheartened by the litter and sewarage smell every now and then. The drains are quite pongy in the centre but most of them were covered up by pieces of carpet, a few were left open.
Stray dogs are plentiful in Sidari. HINT - If you decide to rent a quad bike or moped, be warned, the dogs will chase alongside you barking like mad!
However, the entertainment was plentiful. More relaxed further out of town. Plenty of bars, restaurants, tavernas and greek dancing is everywhere.

We didn't stay in Sidari but went there on a day out in our hire car. Having sampled the beauty of Corfu I was gob smacked at how awful this resort is. Narrow roads lined with awful cheap bars, english style pubs, snack bars and tacky shops. The beach was smelly and horrible. I would say people who enjoy this resort are extremely easily pleased. The only way this resort looks good is in the rear view mirror as you drive away. If I had booked this resort I would have stayed on the transfer coach.

We have just arrived home from what was supposed to be a beautiful beach holiday on the "famous sandy beaches" of Sidari. However, the sea was smelly (clearly raw sewage from local drains) and merky, the beach dirty and the resort having very few traditional Greek taverneras. Having been to Crete and Zante earlier in the summer, which were beautiful islands, and more traditional, with clear sea with fish and a far more friendly atmosphere, i know this is not the norm for Greek holiday resorts. Although I am sure other parts of Corfu are beautiful, without a car it is almost impossible to visit them without spending large sums on the over priced day trips arranged by the tour operators.

Unfortunately Sidari as a resort does not hold much attraction for us. It has many loud bars, fast food eateries and is a little disappointing. The resort appears to have lost a lot of what would have been its original character in favour of pleasing the Brit abroad and we prefer something more traditional however, the Zafiris is a comfortable distance away from Sidari centre and there are some more low key bars and restaurants locally. The beach is ok but we were concerned about the "canal" discharge into it. We hired a car for the whole 2 weeks so we travelled further about.

Food in the area was gnerally good, I dont think I had anything bad, though some were better than others. Theres a few nice mexican places in the area, but try the Greek food, surely thats the point of going to Greece?
Though some poeple would disagree with me and just go to get hammered and lobster coloured. The Greeks themselves are very friendly and seem to go out of their way to help you in anyway the can. They all speak English, and by law, all their menus need to be in English to, which is sheer genius. I dont have a particular favourite place, however I'd recommend the Paradise bar, we ate there once and it was great, they are also extrememly friendly.
Our flight out was at 6 am so we had to crash somewhere for a few hours, they let us stay there for a few hours, when im sure they wanted to go home.
Cleanliness could have been better, there was a smell of sewage in certain areas though it was rare. The beach is nice, there are several beaches and I certainly recommend wandering around until you find a nice tidy one. Hit the beach, and turn left.
Keep following the beach and you'll run into some fantastic views.
