Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.
Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

We visited Sidari 5 years ago and due to lots of demand from the daughter we visited this year Aug 2005. We had some fabulous meals the restaurants were great especially the three little pigs. The nightlife is good if thats what you want but with having a 10 year old we stayed at the quieter end of the resort or the hotel bar which was excellent

Around Sidari it was clean but not amizingly clean it could do with a road sweeper or something like that to just get rid of the rubbish.
Entertainment in Sidari itself was great lots to do for adults and children. In Sidari the beaches are really clean and well supervised. Lifegaurds were always there. I would deffinitely visit Corfu -- Sidari again!!

the location is good if you after being in the middle of everyting although the noise can be very annoying. compared to our previous visit the resort was not very clean, especially the main beach area, where there were lots of cigarette butts. if i were to go again i would stay further out, near the canal d'amour area.

Sidari is very quiet and ideal for younger families. Worth a ride on the horse and carriage. Two brothers serve a wicked meal! Bit too quiet for our liking, nice to have visited but unlikely to return

Sidari is fantastic for all ages, lots of bars and restaurants in fact too many as we were really spoilt for choice, we ate greek food every night and loved every meal served up, the beach is a bit dirty though, you can walk out to sea for ages before the depth changes, sidari is a wonderful family resort lively yet not loud and rowdy, we travelled with our 9 month old baby plus my sis and her family with kids of 13 and 10, there are tons of excursions for you to try with really reasonable prices, we had a lovely horse and carriage ride through sidari. We will definately travel again to sidari in a few years time after visiting some more greek islands.

The resort of Sidari is for people of all ages who want a nice chilled out holiday.
There is one long main road with many bars and eataries with all types of food Greek, English, Chinese, Italian, Tex Mex and Indian. There are a few club type bars that have nice interiors and outside areas that go on to the beach. There are a few karaoke bars. You will find enertainment from hypnotists to magicians, drag act, elvis nights, quizes, bingo and all the rest of it but if that is not your scene and you just want a nice meal and quiet drink you will be able to find this too. I do not think that people in to clubbing holidays and UK underground music would get what they want from Sidari.
The resort is clean. The pavements in Sidari are something that you will find people moaning about or in fact the lack of them but we are talking about Greece here. There are pavements most of the way along the main road but there is an area where there is a yucky gap between the pavement and the road but there is plenty of room on the pavement and steps that go down if you want to cross the roan so unless you are an idiot you should be fine. There are also a couple of areas where there are no pavements and you should stay close to the side to avoid upsetting motorists and putting your life in danger but again unless you are an idiot or have lots of crazy young children you will be fine.
There is a small stinky river. You will find this at the canal end of the main beach. It has lots of fish in it and sometimes a dog or two. It runs into the sea. This should not be a problem for anyone unless they happen to be staying in apartments next to this river but I am not sure if there are any, and the smell is really not that bad and is gone as soon as you cross the river.
Apart from the above the beach is in my opinion clean and sandy. The water can be a little cloudy in the shallow water and the canal area but I think this is due to the fact that the canal is clay and sandstone. You will find people rubbing the clay off the walls all over their bodies.
I have been back to Sidari again and again and I would definately go back. It is a lovely happy little place suitable for ages 1-111.

My family and I visited Sidari towards the end of August. On arrival to the resort, we were disappointed with the look and accommodation. We stayed at the Garnavos apartments which were very basic. The rep left us at the apartments and most of the information, we had to find out for ourselves.
We took 3 teenagers with us, 13, 15 and 16years old. After the initial disappointment, we found that the resort was fantastic for the kids and there was no shortage of things to do.
The staff were lovely and very helpful, including at the Paradise restaurant and pool side bar. The main stretch of Sidari is buzzing with night life and lots of places to eat. My children met up with other teenagers and were able to go into the bars themselves. Just have to be wary of the fact that anyone can get served with alcohol, along with a free aftershock in most bars!
There are lots of excursions during the day, Aqualand being one of them which is brilliant for the kids (and adults). Also, there's lots of places to shop and most of the stuff is very cheap.
The beaches were very disappointing for me as I was looking forward to a relaxing beach holiday but they weren't very clean, cigarette ends covering the sand. Water sports were really good and you can knock the price down if it is quiet.
Look out for the ladies/children selling roses and wrist bands etc. It is easy to feel sorry for them but one of the children ran off with my daughters change. Once you buy, they don't leave you alone!
If you like your tv/soaps, there are a few bars that have these on throughout the evening.
All in all, we had a brilliant holiday, met some lovely people (Sinaed, Siobhan, Becki & all) & would love to go back again (minus the mosquitos)!

We stayed just outside Sidari which was a God send, as the main street was not my cup of tea. We had to cross a canal to get into Sidari which was very smelly and we didnt cross it that much. However with a large number of teenagers we thought it best to stay in the quieter area as the lads thought they could go into the centre and drink which is something we didnt want them to do. Centre very commercialised and too much of buy one get one free especially the drinks.

We stayed at the Canal d'Amour area, the other side of Sidari, away from the Strip that has changed somewhat since we lasted visited this resort, away from what has become a very noisy part of Sidari.
Again plenty going on around you at Canal d'amour but definitely more tranquil by comparison.
The beach that we frequented nearby to our hotel was lovely and clean with a lifeguard present.
