Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

There was sewage everywhere which smelt appalling. The resort entertainment was very English and had young children used to try and get people to either buy things or enter a particular restaurant or bar. The only good points of our holiday were the pedalos, paragliding and the trip to Aqualand. The beach was very natural.

We found Sidari to be pretty smelly - open drains beside the roads which overflowed when it rained heavily. The Canal D'Amour area where we stayed has no pavements, narrow roads and crazy drivers so going for a walk with young kids was a nightmare.
The main beach is not so great but there were plenty of watersports to try. There is a small cove at Canal D'Amour which is really nice but quite small so get there early if you want a lounger.

Sidari was a nice resort, probably because it was low season hence the lack of hustle and bustle. I could imagine it gets very crowded during the summer months. We hired a car (from the town - much cheaper) and toured the island for 3 days. Also we hired a small boat from Sidari beach to tour the north coast. Both trips were really good and the west side of Corfu is amazingly beautiful.

We found the resort to be scruffy & the beach was dirty & uninviting. Resort entertainment consisted of karioke, big screen tv & quizes except for one English bar the Red Lion which had live entertainment every night & was excellent. Would not recomend october as the weather was shocking.

We adore Corfu, especially Sidari, been back 4 times now.It is very friendly and there is plenty to do and see, hire a car and get out and see the beautiful island. You can't help but fall in love with it.

Sidari is a Liveley resort that cayers for all ages. The main town is full of Bars and clubs that provide all night entertainment of all descriptions but you have the choice of whether to live it up or go to a quiet Greek Taverna. Theres something for everyone. If you like the quieter life stay on the Canal D'mour side in the Kanali, Marias or Anjelicas Good food, Good host and entertainment mot thrown in your Face. The beach is good but as with any busy resort can tend to get a little bit Dirty....Dont let it put you off....Sidari is Brilliant and Im in my 50's!!!

Sidari is a typical Greek Island tourist resort, the main shops, bars & tavernas are all situated along the main road.
There are not the abundance of nightclubs that exist in Kavos for example and fortunately the drunken Brit drunkards are not evident.
All the restaurants/tavernas have wide screen TV's for those who cannot bear to be parted from their beloved Football or Eastenders!!
There a few good eateries about, Cactus Jacks does good Tex/Mex food with HUGE portions! The Sea Breeze does an impressive seafood selection and good wine.
There are a number of supermarkets dotted about the resort that can provide most essential goodies.
We traveled with First Choice and found their rep service good; we only did the 1 excursion to Corfu Town for a bit of shopping. The trad "Greek night" is available but having done one before they are all pretty much the same.
Don't be surprised by the number of stray or wandering dogs about the resort, I am told this normal although one we saw had definitely been scrapping all night!
The resort headland by the Canal D'Amour is quite spectacular at sunset and is also on the Zafiris estate.
The resort does suffer from stinking drains, this fortunately does not reach the Zafiris complex.
Corfu "International" Airport is an adventure, it is unable to cope with the volume of tourist traffic. There are only 2 baggage carousels and on arrival we waited 1 and a half hours for our luggage. Our departure was at midday, unfortunately the tour operators are required to get passengers to the airport 2 and a half hours before their flight departs, this causes absolute chaos and some of our coach were stood queuing in the midday sun for 2 hours.

The resort was great it was so clean. We couldn't fault anything on our holiday. There were no resort entertainment but there is plenty of things going on around you.
The beach was lovely. The food at the beach bar was lovely especially the tuna salad rolls. Every one is so friendly.
On the beach there are some water sports to do which are great. We will definitley visit again. It was one of the best holidays we have been to.
