we really liked this resort , it is situated on the mountainside and only a few minutes walk in any direction will bring you to the most picturesque villages ive ever seen , lots of restaurants and bars and shops and views that will blow youre mind , simply a little piece of heaven .

The resort of Stallis was lovely in the evening. Easy stroll down for drinks. Plenty to watch while drinking from numerous bars. Lots of young groups but absoloutely no trouble. Hersonissos a little more energetic and manic. Too many bikes etc. Too much hassle given the heat. Food outlets for every one. Beach narrow but very clean.
Roads are crazy but what do you expect in buzzing holiday town full of youngsters. Loads of buses easy to catch.
Would reccomend to all families.

Walked down to harbour once, lots of bars shops and restaurants. But to be honest we only left the hotel once so didnt see much.

We tend to go earlier in the year when the temperatures are not so high. This year was an exception it was 100 on the day we left.
We prefer the Meltiemi Beach which is of a high standard.

To the left of the hotel is Hersonissos-its a long road with bars and shops on either side-most bars have special drinks offers. Nearer the end of the road theres a street again with shops and bars which takes you along the sea front. it has lovely restaurants and lively bars and clubs.
If you dont want to do the 20min walk it cost 7 euros each way.
Turn right out of hotel and it takes you to stallis-nice beach and with lots of restaurants and bars, not as lively as Hersonissos.
Outside the hotel there isnt much-a nice bar called Romantika-cocktails 2.80 and beer 2 euros!
A couple of snack type bars-not great, ordered greek salad, came with cheddar cheese and no olives!
There are 2 waterparks-we went to Aqua Plus cost 15 euros in a taxi there and only 7 back! taxis vary alot.Costs 18 euros to enter park but was fun!!

THE RESORT IS VERY ISOLATED AND WITHIN A 3 MILE DISTANCE WE FOUND ONLY 4 SUPER MARKETS AND 2 BARS/RESTARAUNTS.THE BEACH IS LITTED WITH RUBBISH EXCEPT FOR THE PARTS IN FRONT OF THE HOTELS

Can't say too much about this resort as we stayed in at the hotel bar most nights. Seems to have plenty of everything, bars, restaurants, shops and a couple of night clubs.

No beach; Hersonissos was a 15 minute walk downhill to the "beach" and I wouldnt recommend it as it didnt look pleasant. Too built up.
Koutoulafarli is a great place to explore, as the village has many interesting nooks and crannies. The standard of restaurant is very high, particularly by comparison acc to Rough Guide, with Hersonnisos. Its a cool quiet place where you can relax, some interesting retail outlets, but no expensive brands.
Being so close to the hub of Hersonissos, its easy to pick up excursions as the pickup is at the bottom of the hill from the hotel.

Resort itself - excellent. The first bar -you come to out of the complex - No Name bar is excellent, walk 5 minutes past that and you are in the midst of bars, restaurants, shops etc.
Best restaurants:
Harbour - Manos (fantastic)
Koutouloufari (6 euros up the hill) - Sergiana taverna restaurant
Old Hersonissos (7 euros up the hill) - Taverna Harakas - First restaurant on left hand side of main square - fantastic food and service - ask for the 10 tapas dishs - you wont be disappoined or hungry!!
Watch out for quad bikes and golf village timeshare touts.
