resort lovely and clean, staff worked hard to keep everything nice ,even the pools were emptied and cleaned during our stay.Sun beds!! if your not up at 5.30am forget it people were reserving beds around both of the pools which we felt was really selfish.Jet skis, and bannana rides on the beach were good. Tried the jet skis which were good. entertainment was 100% rubbish!!

The resort was beautifully clean, there are only a few bars and taverners along the beech front, it is a lovely walk into the harbour, as you walk along the beech turns from shingle to sand, but is still lovely to sit on and watch the sun come up.

I would visit again because it is very unspoilt, and I hope it remains that way.

the sand on the beach was not the best lots of seaweed and swimming was out of the question because of the rocks but to honest we did not need the beach as the pool was spotless and the water slides kept the children occupied when not in the kids club.

Very quiet resort, not much there, few bars and tavernas but this is what makes Lerapetra so lovely. The people are very nice and very helpful.

The beach was very rocky and full of pebbles, stepping into the sea was a nightmare as there are slabs of rocks all over that kill your feet, however, the sea is beautiful and clear - lovely and warm, delicious to swim in. Once you get the swim shoes on it is brilliant.

Disappointed in Chrissi island as the sea there was the same, full of slabs of rock but lovely white sand and blue sea, very pretty.

The weather was fantastic never a cloud in the sky!!!!

Lerapetra is about a fifteen min walk along the promenade from the hotel. The resort had plenty of pharmacy's, souvenir shops, and beach tavernas.

As a family we had a meal in one of the tavernas (as a change from the hotel food ) and it was lovely. We booked two excursions, the first being to Chrissie Island. The girls went on this one.

It took an hour by the fun boat which served snacks drinks and played music. When you arrived at the island it was like being somewhere like the Seychelles. the beach was golden and the waters very clear and warm. Again worth taking a snorkel set as the fish are amazing. The boys went to the aqua park. Be warned it takes about an hour and a half by coach. They had a great time but were very tired on their return.

We had a fantastic holiday and the only gripe I have is that the childrens selection of food at the restaurant was very limited.

Congratulations to all the reps who made our holiday so much fun.

The resort of Ierapetra was very quiet but very nice. I took a couple of walks into the resort on my own. Didnt feel threatened in anyway, and was overcome by the friendliness of the Cretans.

Found a lovely pub on the promenade too, which sold HUGE glasses of Methos, a very very nice lager. Felt like Shirley Valentine, sitting there gazing out upon the crystal clear waters, listening to the gently lapping waves.

The beach itself was sandy/shingly, and very very hot in the height of midday, so you needed to run very quickly to the sea, but once in, it was so very clear, I could ahve spent all day looking down at the ocean bottom.

Not much else in Ierapetra apart from the hotel Petra Mare and a few bars / restaurants along the beach. The beach was disappointing and not very clean.

The resort is very nice but very quiet. The people of ierapetra are very friendly and there are some lovely restaurants, but that's about it not really much else to do in entertainment. Cafe on the rocks is the best bet for a night out.

Area itself was clean.

Beach was nice and clean although not Sandy which is a shame, however Chrissie island is only 20min on a boat and that's amazing.

Not far away is ag nic and this is a much more lively place. With many bars and restaurants.
