Most rooms have pool views. Visit Taverna Odas in the old town and The House on the main strip is brilliant for any time of the day.

The best rooms to stay are typically the ones that are located nearer the strip. Like Nefeli for example. It was 2 minutes from the night life but when you wanted to recover it was also out of the way, sharing a personal swimming pool with neighbouring ho

Make sure you buy or have air conditioning when you go. A lot of great places and bars to visit within 15mins walking distance. Gets very hot alot of people tend to hire quad bikes to get around.

Malia was fantastic, everything from the beach, restaurants, bars/clubs. Plenty of entertainment to choose from with bars and clubs, such as, Cheeky 1/2 which played all your cheesy old musid (really good laugh) the Factory, Flares (70/80's) and so many more I can mention I would be here all day.

Restaurant wise they was plenty of choice and variety from English pubs, Chinese/Indian, Mexican, Greek and takeaways a plenty.

If you are thinking going to Malia then just do it, you will not be disppointed

Wasn't that impressed with 'new' Malia just seemed to be bar after bar pumping out music and touts trying to get you to come into their club with drink promotions etc. Lots of groups of lads it seemed. Beach looks good.
'Old' Malia was nice to wander about as we did a couple of evenings stopping at various tavernas for a quiet drink.

Was so busy and lively - If your looking for a great time away and not worried about not getting much sleep then you will love Malia. Everything is on the one street so no need for taxi's and doubt you would get lost, tho you never know after a few drinks. Me and my mate were only there for one week and felt like it was not enough, we didn't get to do everything we would have liked. No kids of family's just all young groups of friend, we found mostly male.

Most bars do 2 for 1 so you will get 2 drinks for 5eu. There are a few other bars, The Union and The Newcastle who had a great offer of 4 for 1, which was great and there music was really good. You also have to try the sex on the beach slushies in the Malia bar, if you end up with a sore throat, like most people, they will be great for you, very tasty and soothing - 2 for about 7eu. Most bars where great, can't really think of any we didn't enjoy.

The resort was fantastic it was so much more than what i expected. The greek people are so friendly. The alcohol is cheap and eating out was really nice with so many choices. The beach was smaller than usual resorts but it was so nuch better with beach bars that you could use to.
Defo going back malia 10/10.!!!

Beach was very busy and the sea was choppy. We hired a pedalo but I felt so anxious about the amount of jet skis, banana boats and speed boats flying close by us that we took our pedalo back in early. This beach is an an accident waiting to happen. There is no room to sunbathe as its PACKED! We preferred to stay by the pool.

The resort was dirty and the smell on a morning was unbearable as the locals undertook a major clean up after the night befores drunks.

Definitely for young and lively groups of singles we wished we had stayed in near by Stalis or Hersonisos.

I ended up with gastroenteritis and was admitted to the filthiest disease ridden hospital you could imagine on the last day of my hol. The nurses were barbaric and one told me that I had only paid 40 euros and if I wasn't happy I should f* off back to the UK. My advice is - if you get sick don't tell anyone as they will put you in this hell hole and you will end up feeling worse than when you went in!

Overall I thought Malia was ok! The resort itself was very busy exsactly what you would expect from a clubbing town just very young! During the day there is nothing to do and pretty boring! Get a fishbowl in help bar absolutly excellent - I wouldt go back to Malia personally I preferred Kavos and Ayia Napa x

Resort is wicked, we had a wicked time last year and would definitely go back.

Beach is lovely, very clean.

Plenty of places to eat, including the traditional English dish McDonalds!!

Would definitely go back to Malia.
