Most rooms have pool views.
Visit Taverna Odas in the old town and The House on the main strip is brilliant for any time of the day.

The best rooms to stay are typically the ones that are located nearer the strip. Like Nefeli for example. It was 2 minutes from the night life but when you wanted to recover it was also out of the way, sharing a personal swimming pool with neighbouring ho

Fantastic night life ideal for hen and stag parties. Just be prepared for when you do go into the town it will take you ages as you are nearly dragged into every bar but providing you get free drinks its fine but make sure you agree before you go in the goldfish bowls seemed to go down with us girlies! Great fun.

The resort apart from the pr's that pester you it was bangin, but u can get good deals with the pr's if they really want u to go in the bar!! We hired quads out for 3 days which was a reasonable price, we are glad that we hired them because we saw a lot more of malia than u would on foot.We recomend not to go on the excursions with the reps u can get them alot cheaper if u shop around.

This year 2006 will be our 4th visit as we love the beach location and the lovely walk through the smallholdings to the old town.
There is a wealth of entertainment in the new town for those who want it. We prefer to walk to our favourite singing chef restuarant in Stalis.
Regular buses take us to the nearby towns and the palace of Malia is just down the beach road. A good choice for romantics.

Malia is an excellent young persons resort. Malia beach is busy with music playing and free swimming pools next to the beach bars for anyone to use. The beach itself is excellent and sandy and there are watersports available. The resort of Malia itself is one long beach road that is lined with places to eat, bars and clubs and at night anyone is spoilt for choice with music to suit any taste. The nightlife is excellent! It is also easy to reach the neighbouring resort of Stalis for a quieter night, which has a more relaxed feel with more shops, bars and places to eat. The beach at stalis is also lovely but a bit quieter. It is easy to hire quads which are handy for traveling from place to place but watch out for the insurance small print. All in all excellent! We can't wait to go back

Malia is a small, yet fast growing town. Bars, cafes are numerous, and popular with young adults out to party till daybreak.
The hotel beach is clean, and has a 'blue flag' award. The cafe was much frequented for snacks at reasonable prices.
Beach traders did not hassle, and the doughnuts were really good.
All in all, a great holiday venue for all ages.

Malia is amazing! The nightlife was buzzing and the range of bars and clubs was fab! The resort was the perfect size and kept us happy for 2 weeks of hardcore drinking and general partying!
The resturants all served good and reasonably cheap food and we found the majority of the locals to be friendly!
The beach was clean and offered many watersports for those daring enough!
There are also a few beach side pool bars such as the well known 'pool bar crazy' which is the place to be for fun organised games by the pool (with prizes for winners) and drinking at the bar. The staff here are happy to wait on you around the pool and do an scrumptious BBQ night at cheap price!
Malia is a must do for any groups of girls or lads up for a week or two of crazy nightlife and long fun filled days on the beach or by the pool!
I would recommend it 110%!

stayed 1.2 km out of malia town and glad we did.ok for the very young that is 18-30 but not a couple/family resort at all.very busy and dirty areas all around.area we stayed in much more select with lovely quiet tavernas and one very good cretan family restaurant.
