Resort was ok not very sandy beach more shingle and can be quite windy in the day and very noisy in the night in the hotel we found putting towels at the balcony doors reduced the howling in the room fron the high winds.
In Kardamena itself shop keepers very helpful and all love kids

Resort is quite commercial with Bars all along the sea front which can get quite rowdy at night time. However if you go one street in from the front you then get to the nice family tavernas.
The Greeks are very friendly and all speak excellent English. Be wary on the prices the reps got us to got to Hotel Seva one night but the prices were well above average.
There is a harbour there but to be honest if you are after sight seeing you are better off at Kos Town. the town of Mastihari is lovely and quite and the beach there is really very nice, and the sea is warm, although I think it would be too quite for "clubbers".
We went on the Greek Night which I highly recommend if only for the views. Also we went to Turkey which was ok but all you can really do is shop so if you are not a shopper don't bother. You can get good bargains at the markets on Saturdays and Tuesdays (£2.50 per top for 3 DKNY, NIKE and RALPH LAUREN tops and 10 Euros for 3 Gucci handbags.)
The turkish people are again nice and speak English but can be a bit in your face trying to sell you stuff. Beware walking up to the market for guys trying to sell you perfume out of black bags!!
All in all a great holiday, Kardemena probably more for the 18-25's but we did see all ages having a fantastic time. We were there when Football was on and never saw any indication of any trouble and felt safe at all times. The weather was very hot in June so will be even hotter in July and august.

The resort has something for everyone and the people are very friendly different variety of bars and restaurants which many are reasonably priced, plenty of shops to brouse in although many of them sell the same things and some nice jewellary shops.

the beach by the hotel is very sorry looking very thin with pebbles. The town has a good variety of shops and bars and you can get good day trips from the town much cheaper than with Tour Op. We did the 3 bay cruise, Bubble beach, Diving, Kos town and the Volcano all good if you fancy a day out. We had a really good holiday for a bargain price as booked 3 weeks before travel

I would love to visit Kos again the bars are brilliant and the touts and bar staff are really friendly.
The whole atmosphere is really chilled. There is also plenty to do through the day with a beautiful beach and lots of watersports.
Plus there is a Bar which plays Friends all day if you fancy a relaxing afternoon.
All in all a top resort that I will definitely be visiting again.

Kardemena is a lively resort and has everything to suit all people. quiet areas and noisy bars. Clean, central enough to hire a car and visit all points on the island. Kos Town is lovely

PR pain in the neck in bar street but try Amazons for a night out (look for the white rabbits - excellent!) Use the agents in town for trips - cheaper than reps and excellent. Must go to bubble beach. Would definately go back.

Didnt like Kardemena at all, only went in to find a chemist, found it very touristy and not at all greek.

The resort of Kardamena is somewhere I would definitely go again. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit, whose staff are friendly and well mannered. The bars are open until midnight, when the music is promptly stopped as is the law. But you can then go on to a club which is sound-proofed, so can't be heard on the streets.
The beach was lovely, very clean.
