The Norida beach is a lovely hotel inside, but does look old on the outside.
There is alot of building work going on, new pool and lots more apartments. The beach is shingle, the lift down to the beach sometimes works.
There is a free bus service to Kardamena from the hotel, which is good, we visited Adams bar on the front, a guy called Yanni owns it, he is greek and his wife is english. Lovely couple Yanni gave us a lift, back to the hotel at 3.30 in the morning.
We hired a car from Veronica at Manos near the crazy golf, for the day, we went round the whole island and visited the sister hotel Ramiara in Kos town, this hotel is lovely but the rooms dont have air con and tvs, the Summer Palace, Family Village and Norida Beach do.
We went onto the trip to Bodrum, Turkey, you pay 40 euros at the hotel and 27 euros in Kardamena the only difference with the trip is you can get lunch free with the 40 euros, but turkey is that cheap you dont need it.
Fags cost 15 euros for 200 but buy them in the port of bodrum not in the shops, they might not be fags when you come to open um, and you can only get 200. We had a good time in Kos, we met some lovely people.
I just hope Sunstar leisure sort them selves out, it could have been so much better, I am not one for complaining, but everything from booking flights, hotels, went wrong and that was just one couple out of at least 300, I spoke to a lot of people and I did not hear one good report about this company.
Kos is definetly worth a visit but not with sunstar!!!!!

We found the whole resort lovely and people very friindly, without pestering you too much.

Didn't really stop long in the few visits to Kardemena as there was little of interest there. Lots of pubs and restaurants, disco's and gift shops. Its certainly not unique in its make up or appearance.The usual young brits (mostly girls) trying to talk you into there particular employers establishment.

The resort was absolutely brill! I would give the standard of the beach a 10/5 it was that good, it was also cleaned even though no-one had ever saw them cleaned!
There is a very nice scenic view around the hotel and you see it all the time, especially if you walk into Kardemena as it only takes 40mins stroll and 20mins bike ride which you can hire in the hotel for 4 euros a day which is really good.
Overall this is a marvelous hotel with outstanding company, I loved it and iIhope everyone else does, I would definately go again in the near future.

Kardamena is a comprises of a lovely harbour with a variety of shops, bars and clubs. As we were 'all inclusive' we did not eat out but the prices advertised seemed very reasonable.

Kardemena offers the best of everything, if you want bars and nightclubs the towns bar street is exellent, or if you just want to relax the other side of town is quiet.
Lovely narrow beaches and crystal clear water where the fish can be seen swimming.

Kardamena is brilliant. It has everything you could possibly want. The locals are so friendly. I have been three times now and they always seem genuinely pleased to see that you have come back.

The resort was just opening up for the season, not all facilities were open.

I can't tell you much about the resort because we stayed in the hotel most of the time, I think the beach could be a bit cleaner there was a lot of rubbish strewn along the beach and road which I think the local council could make it a lot more presentable although the water was beautiful and suprisingly warm.

The beach is a walk down the stairs and not as bad as some think, we went in October in the weather was about 80's every day, never chilly.
The sun loungers are old and tatty and there is nowhere near enough of them. A beach bar is nearby and again tip the barman and he will keep you right. Don't get a taxi to Kos town, it's £20 plus one way. Local bus costs 90 cents and due to the roads it will take the same amount of time.
Do go to Kardemena and go on the Sunset cruise, it lasts 90 minutes and costs £2.50 excellent.
Do go to Bodrum, Turkey but not through the hotel, in Kardemena get the trip whereby you will sail to Kos Town and then onto Bodrum and the same route back.
Whatever you get in Kos Town it's half the price in Bodrum and the Turks are twice as friendly.
