The resort was clean the only entertainment was a bar b q on Monday and the rest of the days music but the same tunes.
It was quiet and laid out nicely. If you spent all your time at the pool which was nice you will be ok if not beware of this place.

TRIPS - Hire your own boat ZEUS - is a must 300 euros upto 10 persons, you get your own 2 skippers, bbq lunch cooked on board & can go wherever you want - I would NEVER AGAIN return on a sardine packed boat with kids
KARDEMENA - nice 10 minute walk into town, not ideal for kids really- HOWEVER you must visit AMAZON all inclusive restaurant, 15 euros adults 10 euros kids eat & drink whatever you can all night - also great entertainment, greek dancing and bouncy castle
LOCAL AREAS - turn left out of hotel - 5 minute walk lovely small pool bar & play area show all Sky Sports TV - also if you turn right out of hotel 2 minutes away - Atlantis restaurant is great food & small play area for kids - worth a visit

Going all inclusive we rarely stepped outside the vicinity of our hotel so the resort ratings is not very accurate but is on what we was told or saw on the quick.
We visited the village during the day but on advice from our rep.we retreated back to the hotel before 20.00hrs because that is when the resort is swimming with rowdy clubbers.
We eat in Kardamena once for a change from our hotel and would recommend that restaurant (Nemos) which is on the harbourside.

Kardamena looked nice by day, but never went in at night. Told very lively at night and great for party people. The watersports are great - good selection on offer.

Fine if you like bars, clubs and drunken British teenagers. Otherwise, avoid it at night and find one of the quieter tavernas on the edge of town at night, the only place you're likely to find any remotely authentic Greek cuisine.

Kos is a lovely island very picturesque but with a good night life. The bars were clean and didnt smell like they normally do, very busy and a general good night out although most of the bars stop playing music around 1 to make you go the the clubs, which are quite expensive. The beaches and the sea are beautiful and clean. I would certainly recomend Kos to others.

Kardemena is great we had some brill nights. It smelt like dirty sewers at times but i assume this is just poor sewage.
There are loads of bars but they have to turn the music off at midnight as its illegal not to!! so the bars stay open but with no music... not the best. However there are a good few clubs to choose from.
The drinks are expensive in the clubs though so best to get as many as you can from the bars first. Dont pay to get in clubs there are PRs everywhere so get tickets from them.
The beach is nice and mostly clean. All in all an okay place.

I would never go to Kos again it has put me off Greece. I didnt like Kardamena i thought it was just like Blackpool with the sun!!!
