Kardamena has something for every one and despite the amount of bars and litter being thrown down by "Brits" it was very clean, and a good choice of tavernas and bars to choose, even for those of us with children.
The beach is shingle but there are plenty of sunbeds and further down by sovereign beach it is quiet and secluded. There are rocks in the sea as you go in but after negotiating them it is sand.
The alternative is take a bus or hire a car and go to the fabulous camel, pleasure or sunny beaches.
Yes I would visit this resort again as the Greek people are so friendly and welcoming and this resort has lots to offer.

Kardamena in our opinion was excellent, we are a married couple of 27yrs and 30yrs, we still like good nightlife without the roudiness. Kardamena has everything, catering from young groups, couples and even families. There are different areas, bar street which is self explanatory, main square which is pretty much a square of bars but not horrifically lively and then the harbour which seemed to start livelyish at one end and get quieter towards the other end - perfect for families and couple wanting a quiet drink on the sea front. Lots of restaurants and good shopping too, designed and your usual souvenier tack. Will definitely go back

Kardemena was great. we are both well above the club 18-30 range, but were greeted with smiles and 'how are you' we spent time in the Crossroads bar which we thought was great and also the Stone Roses Bar which had the bar people dancing and singing. I f you want to shop for designer labels you can't beat it, Miss Sixty, Burberry, Raqlph Lauren etc

Quite a nice beach clean, but the shingle hurt the feet.
Water sports limited due to wind.
The sea was clear but freezing, good snorkelling if you can cope with the cold and the sharp rocks

Kardemena was a place for the young ones to hang out, but we never felt intimitated or out of place. We ventured into the resort several times to play free bingo at the cobblers pub. We were made very welcome and enjoyed some good evenings there.

the each in shingle which is rough on the feet the sea dips down quite deep straight away so be careful with children. The main resort has enough shops and bars, clubs to keep everyone entertained . There is a McDonalds on the beach , 3 times a week at night is a harbour market. If you want a good steak Moonshine is the place to go near the SugarMill night club really good service and food.

As I stayed out of the main resort I feel I cant say, but it looked good if you want bars and clubs, not for young kids.
