We visited this hotel (nicknamed the Pink Palace) during Easter. It was their first week of the season and they were a bit unprepared.
When we arrived at 2am there was no electric on and no-one could be bokked in. We sat in the foyer until 6:30am and were exhausted.
After a short sleep we got up and a scout around and decided to hire a Jeep (highly recommended as the countryside around Rhodes is breathtaking).
We ate in the hotel the first night and there was a good choice of food which I would say was adequate but not really upto my standard. I would agree that it is probably 3.5* rather than 5.
The staff were tremendous and taught us bits of Greek which proved very useful in the more remote parts.
We did the full tour of Rhodes in the little Jeep and I have to say enjoyed every minute. The hotel provided a packed lunch which could be ordered in the restaurant or from the snooty receptionists.
In the evenings we took the Jeep and ate out in a small town called Lardos at a place called Roulas which is a must, they are fabulous with exceptional food very reasonably priced.

In short a must, but do hire a Jeep and see the islands its stunning.

Having reading other reviews we were a little worried about staying in this hotel, but we had no problems whatsoever.

The hotel was very clean - maids come in and clean your room daily changing sheets and towels and wiping the floor - and were also very friendly.

The reception staff were also very nice as well as well as the restaurant and bar staff.

The food was nice at all times - if you didn

This hotel listed as a 5* Hotel, but falls well below
this in my opinion. The bathroom in our room had no enamel on the base and black mould around the top. There was no hot water whatsoever for four days in our block of rooms.
The reception was totally unhelpful. Only when the hotel manager was pressed about it did workmen appear to rectify the problem on day 5.
Room cleaning was good beds made daily.
Food had lots of choice, but was cold.Vegetables not cooked properly. several guests confined to bed with
upset stomachs.
virtually nothing to do at location, some shops and bars nearby.
entertainment near pool, very amatuer, few seats.

Rodos Holiday Village is not 5 star by any means. Hygiene is poor. On trips to the pool bar I asked for two beers and there were no clean glasses. The barman rinsed two used glasses under a cold water tap and filled them with beer. Also in the outdoor pool toilets there was no soap, no towels or any means with which to dry your hands and on many occasions no toilet paper. Also people were walking in to the toilets barefooted which was awash with water and goodness knows what and then promptly dived into the pool with wet feet.

We also observed the chef using the same toilets with no hand washing facilities before proceeding back to the kitchens. I myself went down with a bad tummy bug and was visited by the doctor. This bug lasted the whole of the two week holiday.

I am now seeing my own doctor after several days of being at home and am awaiting hospital test results. I hasten to add we will not be returning to Hotel Mitsis Rodos Village.

We found the hotel to be clean at all times. Food was o.k as I eat most things, but my husband and daughter were disappointed in the choice for veggie food. The location is not for the under 25s unless they are loooking for a very relaxing holiday. All the hotel staff were very friendly, especially Stellios who guides you too your table in the restuarant.Say Hi from the PENDA lady... Also you must have lunch and dinner in the pizzeria by the top pool..wonderful pizza and pasta... served by none other than Byron.. say hello from Emma.. The entertainment staff are excellent, how they keep going is beyond comprehension although it can be very child orientataed and then at 9.30 very adult even though the kids may still be up.. Best shows were, The transexual show, and the sketch show, very funny. Yes I would go back just for the relaxing time that we all had..

Staff were very helpful at all times. Hotel was well situated for beach amenities. As for entertainment, it was absolutely brilliant, if someone can get me up on stage not once but twice then they are doing a good job. All my love to the Animation team. Axel, Mimo, Chris, the lovely ladies Florianna, Kerri, Magda, Pamela, and the bossman Makram, thanks for a great holiday, hope to see you again. JAY

The holiday above was not booked under my name, i was part of a group staying at RODOS Village Kiotari, so this is my opinion , but, i have not heard any negative feedback from the holiday whatsoever

On arriving at the hotel we were informed that the two rooms we had booked 8 months ago were not available so we spent the first 3 days of our holiday in a different hotel along with about another 4 dozen guest who also had no rooms.

Hotel location was a bit more remote than we expected,
it was very clean 75% of the time, food left a great deal to be desired. After numerous people went down with stomach complaints the food improved slightly (luckily it is only 10 minutes on the bus to Lardos excellent resturants and pubs).

The entertainment is great if you are under 8 years old or want to watch the same sort of thing every day.

After reading the previous reviews, i went on this holiday with mixed feelings- but an open mind, however On arrival to this hotel at 6am in the morning, I checked in only to be told my room would'nt be ready till midday. my travelling companions (that i'd met on the plane),were not so lucky they were taken to another hotel for the first night. The hotel is basically clean, and is kept that way by it seems of an efficient cleaning staff. But it is not a five star by any stretch of the imagination. My room was clean but the bed was very hard, however i did have hot water(some guests said theirs was cold. The food on the whole was terrible, although there were highlights- like the pancakes in the morning, the Pizzeria was good but you need to book. But on the whole the food was bland, lukewarm and repetative, also on friday seemed it was all fish dishes I came home with an upset stomach.Staff were quite friendly and helpful and most would smile and greet you. The entertainment staff worked very hard and were very friendly. The drinks are bearable after several (of the alcholic variety). The fruit juices were palatble. I asked if i could have a bottle of water for my room and was told that this was'nt possible ???!!!

Rodos village was great.

We all really enjoyed our holiday we wanted to stay another week.staff were all really frendly.

Rooms were clean although my wife and myself had to complain about our room being over the resturant we was woke up for three mornings on the trot 7am wasnt pleased with a hangover, phoned reception they told us the baker was making the bread in the kitchen the bangs were really loud. Finally we changed rooms on the 4th day evrything was then fine.

The animation team were great loved the Darts (WISHY-WASHY)
we had a real good laugh . My nephew who is disabled was with us and it was his birthday whilst there and the staff really made his birthday. Macram he loved him
(David) all the staff will remember him.
