Beaches

Resort was quite small, main areas clean with plenty of restaurants & bars. Zorbas 3 courses for less than 9 euros was excellent value.
Beach very narrow but stone free just a few rocks under water.Sea warm & clear with lots of tiny fish
We rarely revisit but would recommend.

The resort is very clean and cared for.
Regarding entertainment , this is very low key but the restaurants are excellent and supermarkets very well stocked.
The jewellery shop called Alex"s has fabulous pieces, and the lovely English lady always gives a good "deal" when you buy more than one item.
The smallest beach is lovely but not as clean as it could be, but the Taverna is very good for snacks and gorgeous Crepes, savoury or sweet.
The beds are only 4 euros each and very comfortable.
Inspite of the strong Euro we still found the cost of eating out still very good value.
I would highly recommend Spitake restaurant, we did eat in Enigma and although the food was good , we found every single waiter to be thoroughly miserable so would not recommend it.
I would come back to Pefkos time and time again for the relaxed , low key lifestyle and the fact that this is such a small resort with no "yobs" to speak of.

Excellent yet again. There is everything you need at this resort for a fairly quiet holiday. Went to the Oasis bar and the Greek House restaurant which are both really friendly. Had good reports about the Dama Dama restaurant as well. I've already booked 2 more holidays next here to Pefkos and can't wait.

Pefkos is one of the best resorts in Rhodes with plenty of good restaurants and bars.
Pefkos is ideally situated between Lardos resort, where there are some great restaurants like Roulas and Valantinas, and Lindos which is famous for its traditional look and the acropolis.
On the whole it is a clean resort for Greece and has some great beaches that are clean and safe.
The top places to eat are Nostalgia, La Piazza, Artemis and Alexandras for gyros pita, but by far the best restaurant is Nefelis opposite the Peacock Cocktail Bar which is a good place to socialise before and after dinner serving great cocktails, especially happy hour when it's 'buy two get one free'!!
Best place to hire a car is Lindos Car Hire. No fuss, no frills and just 70 euros 'all in' for two days!!
A day trip to Faliraki water park is well worth the 20 euro entrance fee - one of the best water parks in Europe!!
Rhodes 'old town' is definitely worth visiting but beware of the prices for food and drink - almost twice as much than in resort!!
A must for every visitor is the Glass Bottom Boat trip. Good value for money and very entertaining and finishing off with a dip in the turquoise sea!!
On the whole Pefkos is a great resort and is most suitable for couples and families, so, if you want 'boom boom shake the room', go to Faliraki or Lindos!!

The thing about resorts is that what is good for one person might not be good for another but for us it was easily large enough to enable us to eat and drink at a different places every night for two weeks. Bars varied from the quiet to the lively and we did not see any or hear any rowdy or obnoxious behaviour (although I accept that this does not mean there wasn't any). We are flitters and like to try many places to eat and drink rather than stick to one or two and we were generally happy with the places we visited.
We found the restaurants varied greatly with our personal favorite being Coliseum closely followed by Nostalgia. However, it does have to be said that those at the cheaper end like to fill the plate with rice and potatoes. But, you pays your money and takes your choice.
We spent many days on the beach which we found to be perfect for sunbathing and swimming and on most occasions there were still available sunbeds and umbrellas past midday.
It has to be said that is not a "Greek" resort by any stretch of the imagination and has obviously grown around the (predominantly British) tourist trade, but it is only a short taxi ride to Lindos (a must) and Lardos which offer a more authentic atmosphere although both towns also rely heavily on tourist money.
We were very please with our stay and for us it was everything we wanted and expected.

this was our first time in pefkos and was not our last.there is plenty to do...whatever type of holiday you want you can get in pefkos..plenty to do,lots of nice bars and restaurants to eat and drink at.we particularly enjoyed enigma, terpsis, lindos cuisine, but our favourite was by far nostalgia. we enjoyed it so much that we had our wedding reception there after our wedding at st pauls bay (a stunning place..must visit)mike and the staff at nostalgia were so lovely and the food gorgeous.we also went to jasmine bar alot in the evenings...the kids loved it. there is there is a play area attatched to it where the kids can go and play giving you 5 mins peace to enjoy the fab cocktails....danny and staff there were fab.the beach was lovely..plenty of sunbeds at a cost of 4 euros for the day..the sand was roasting hot...couldn't stand on it bare foot any longer than 5 secs....had to make a mad dash to the sea.which was lovely, clear and warm!!! lots of fish too!!can't wait for 09 to go back to see eveyone.loved it.
