trianta/llalysos I personally would not class this as a resort it's mainly hotels and apartments.

There are about four shops and same amount of bars and restaurants.

The beach is gritty and very stoney if you are prepared to walk for about twenty minutes one way on the main road there is Kremasti which has a few more shops bars etc and about forty minutes the opposite direction you get Trianda which is a bit bigger but nothing to write home about.

There was not much to do for any age group to be perfectly honest we were absolutly bored silly and will not be visiting again.

We stayed in Trianda, there are lots of places to eat some good, some lousy. La Serra is good quality and good food, we went 3 times. Mesogios Taverna has good food & prices.

At Knights of Old I had served to me the starter of a crab salad, 2 Asda crab sticks shredded with some salad!!!

Evening entertainment for children/teenagers is very limited, my 2 sons were bored after 8-9 nights with no mini golf or any other kind of activities.

The beach is all stones and can be difficult to get in/out be careful! We went only 3 times because of this.

The Water Park in Falaraki is a must, go early and stay until 6pm unti it closes. £68 is the family ticket.

Rhodes Town is very interesting, lots to see, do not just sit down anywhere for a beer in the heat of the day, 2 beers and 2 soft drinks can cost you 22 euros, I know.

I had a car for 7 days, be very careful, driving can be dangerous. Lots of motorbikes and Quads, rules dont exist, keep your eyes open at all times.

Taxis are cheap with fixed prices, 4 can travel at the same price as taking the bus.

Trianda is a really place, but there really isn't a lot to do at night. We were told it is livlier than Kremasti, but we thought there is more things to do there. However if you just want a nice resturant and a quiet drink then you will be ok. There was a couple of bars that would get livlier later on, but were empty till quit late. The beach is pebbles and the sea is very ruff. We walked along the beach which was nice, but never sunbathed on it because we have a daughter who is 11 so i didn't think it would be a good idea because the sea was ruff.

would recommend going to the CACTUS restaurant as they are very friendly and polite.

dont go to La Bonita restaurant or the chinese restaurant as these two are very expensive and the food isn't great.

rhodes old town is very nice and a trip to filermos is worth a good look at
