Go to Rhodes old town, its great, dont bother with the Turkey day trip really expensive, we booked this on our own and still ended up on a bus doing the gold factory etc etc.
Visit the Calibri bar and restaurant opposite hotel entrance say hello to Nicose and Fertuna they are lovely and at last you get served by nice happy greek people!!
Go to Lindos and see the beaches as well as the accropollis
Hire a car for a few days and you can do the whole island. It is a lovely place, just a pity about the hotel.

i think the ratings on the left say it all about this "resort " the kassanra is in between resorts so cannot claim that title !! what i will say is that the beach was badly stepped so it is difficult to get in and out of the water if you are in any way walking impaired ! as fopr entertainment that centres around who can show the most premiership football matches !! the cleanliness was as in most cases in greece appalling !!

Rhodes is a beutiful Island and we will definately return. Rhodes Town is very interesting with its medieval Architecture and a good shopping place. The beaches were very clean and the sea was nice and warm, unfortunately there was pebbles instead of sand and this was diffcult to walk on.

Trianda has a very good selection of restaurants, one for every night of the week.
The usual English(1) and Irish(1) bars plus many others. As usual they close when you want to go home, should you be the last on the premises!!
The resort is tidy and practically litter free, although I never saw anyone cleaning up!!
The beach is very stony and you need water shoes which are very cheap to buy in Trianda. Water is clean and sunbeds cost 3.00 but are very comfortable. Great for Windsurfing because of the permanent breeze, which you really appreciate, as it keeps the temperature in August at a reasonable lowish 30'C. Water is a bit rougher than other parts because of breeze.
Would gladly go back to Trianda.

Nearer to Kremasti than anywhere else, but still at least a 25 minute walk to anywhere. Beach is just pebbles. Sunland has very little around it, a couple of restaraunts at most, and I spotted one bar.

Ialyssos and Trianda are the local areas.
There are many pubs in the area, as well as restaraunts. An irish pub which is not Irish. The best place for a few we found was the Yorkshire bar. Staff were a1. Cheap drinks. The Macnamara bros karaoke was a bit of laugh. Run by Mo and Mick Macnamara who have irish roots so took to us well.
Two great barmaids. One Russian and one English both sights to behold and a good rapor as well.
Overall a class place to visit.

The resort of trianta is lovely, very greek and not yet unspoilt by crowds. It consists os a small street which has some fantastic restaurants. There are loads of little gift shops and supermarkets around, a few kids areas with parks and go carts and things. It would be ideal to go self catering around there because the food in the restaurants is fantastic!!
Trianta is about 15 minutes from the airport, about 20 minutes from the waterpark and 10 minutes from Rhodes Town so it is in a great position.
P.S - If you have kids, go to the waterpark, it is massive and it is fantastic!!

The price of the meals is about 15% more than the next resort down. No good entertainment other than TV in all the pubs, bars, restaraunts/. etc.,
Sick of the sight of them, nothing for children at night, not a resort to get all the family out after sun set - keep away!

the resort is very quiet and laid back and not a lot to do but that is what we wanted a lazy week in the sun, the beach was poor but then again we knew that before we visited and the noise of the planes was not a problem at all and all the local people were very friendly and polite we will definatly return.
