Location
We had an invasion of ants in our room and after countless complains this was never dealt with. The sheets were never changed. I know this as my son had an accident whilst there and the blood from his hand was still on the sheets 2 weeks later.
All our party had violent bouts of sickness and diarrhoea which had called for a doctor to visit. We noticed that this doctor was going in one room and going straight into the next whilst we were there!
Be careful of the all inclusive wrist band which are given to your children as these are really flimsy! If they break then you have to pay for them. My son lost his on the last night. We were told that we wasn't allowed to leave the complex to come home if we didn't pay for it. Even though they put it on and cut it straight back off.
I agree with other reports that unless you are French your treatment is poor.
Unless you are prepared to pay the pool man!! or get up at 4am you have no chance of getting a sunbed! We managed to get a bed once during our 2 week stay and that was at 2pm when some one left the pool early because of sickness.
Sorry I have had to write this about this resort but it is what I feel should be known

Location quite good, gardens well kept but hotel struggles to cope with 1600 guests. Runs out of cutlery, crockery etc and these are often dirty when they arrive.
Our son was ill with violent sickness/diarrhoea requiring a doctor in the night. Prescribed medication for amoebic dysentery and bacillary dysentery and was in bed for 3 days.
Bed linen, towels did not look or smell fresh at all during our stay. Also had cockroaches visiting our room.
Some of the bar staff serve you when they feel like it.
Sports facilities good although our son was too ill to play squash or tennis at all in the second week.
Plenty of day time entertainment if Butlins style is your thing.
Hotel food in the buffet was repetitive. We enjoy Moroccan food but tagine every day became boring. Salad looked good but many flies and the only refrigeration we could see was ice underneath the containers which soon melted. Waiters on the whole very friendly with the exception of two very rude waiters who only seemed to want to
serve the French. The floor or doors in here never appeared to be clean. Tables cleaned with what looked like a dirty damp cloth which smeared the food debris into the table.
Evening entertainment poor as is the hunt to find which of the bars is actually open that night.
The themed restaurants were quite good particularly the Moroccan but you have to queue up and book them up at least 4 days in advance. Alright as long as you don't then become ill.
Moroccan evening at the hotel good although half way through you have to sit through various presentations of certificates for competitions won that day. Quite expected to hear Ruth Madoc shout Hi Di Hi at any moment.

Party of 14
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel and unfortunately alot of the bad reports on this site are quite right. If you are considering booking this hotel for All Inclusive then I would seriously consider changing your location. If your looking for a good All Inclusive package then this is not the hotel for you.
Some of the reports state that its good for a cheap break, well I don't consider

Hotel grounds well kept and pools not bad. Did not have any real issues with the food, plenty of choice for all. Did not get unwell either!!
Staff were not bothered if you were British, unless you spoke French. Had to get up way to early for a sunbed which was a nightmare. Kids club was nothing special, the kids reps did not interact with my son and let him leave early without me collecting him.
If you have booked just make the most of your holiday the best you can, some people enjoyed this hotel so who knows!!

The staff were the most friendly people I have ever met and probably the most intelligent, most were not much older then myself (17) and they could all speak a variety of languages fluently. They were always helpful and a special mention must go the the first choice reps who gave us so much needed advice. You definitely need to speak to them before you go shopping!
The food was good, there was a lot more choice than I was expecting and I was pleased to be able to try real Moroccan dishes. The retaurants in the complex were ok however the chinese was definately the nicest and most varied. The omelettes in the morning were a highlight but beware they are so good there is always a long queue!
The entertainment was available butthe place lacks somewhere quiet to sit sometimes as the music is loud and over whelming. The staff work hard though and there is never a shortage of something to do.
We recommend doing some day trips as Morocco is so much more than you can see from the hotel, we are usually Spanish beach people but it definately opened our eyes to new experiences and places. I definately recommend Morocco and possibly the hotel but the country, people and culture make up for anything the hotel lacks...

The holiday got no better due to the fact that they had a major water burst outside the hotel which went on for the whole week we constantly had to complain we all ended up sick apart from the baby due to having he own food. ( 1 hr aday of water if we were lucky.)
Food was okay just with having a upset stomach we couldn't eat or drink really.
Hotel staff seemed to give priority to French/German guests.
Waiters in restaurants brilliant one of the waites even bought my baby a ring as a gift to say goodbye.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. They are always about all day cleaning and the gardeners are always gardening and cutting and pruning the bushes. They wash everything down in the mornings and there was no litter about the place. All the gardens are very well kept and the swimming pools and surrounding areas are all spotlessly clean.
The waiters are about all day collecting the empty cups and plastic glasses from around the pools and bars. The only downside was having to get up at around 4oclock to get your sunbeds by one of the 4 pools. Leave it any later than 6ish and you have no chance of getting one. There are lots of mattresses though that can be put on the grass areas surrounding the pools for extra places to lie. We were lucky enough to have the same spot for 12 days, so we were very happy.
Food was fine, but it must be very hard for them to cater for so many different nationalities and tastes. I am a very fussy eater and suffer with stomach problems but found there was always something to eat for everyone.
Breakfasts were good. Omelettes with a choice of fillings, boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. Sausages, beans, breads, cheeses, pates and meats, toast and jam, pancakes, croissants and doughnuts, fruit and yoghurts etc and fruit juice, tea and coffee.
Dinner time was good also with lots of choices, pasta, pizza, chips, soup, breads, cold meats, stews, rice, meat and veg, salads, cakes, pastries, fruit and ice cream etc. We used the snack bar some dinner times which was good also. Opened 1 - 4pm. This was find a table and be waited on. This served hot toasted sandwhiches, chips and salads, burgers, hot dogs and sandwhiches all chosen from the menu. You choose a drink and the waiters fill it up every time they see it empty.
Tea time was pretty much the same as dinner time, but all good and always something to eat for everyone.
The snack bar was open again on an evening from 10pm until 1pm, serving pizzas, round flat garlic breads and ice cream. The kids thought this was great.
The hotel was situated about a 10 minute walk away from the beach which was lovely and clean and the sea very warm. The hotel has its own private part with sunbeds on and a beach bar serving soft drinks only. It has alot of shops, bars and restaurants outside along the main drag which is quite an enjoyable walk in the evenings when it is abit cooler.
Hotel staff were very helpful and very friendly. If you had a problem then they would try and sort it straight away for you. Could not do enough for you.
Entertainment team were great. A lovely bunch of friendly people who work very hard from 9am until midnight. They do everything from water aerobics, dances, all the activities all through the day and do all the shows on an evening and then onto the disco.
They dont stop and always have time for you to stop and chat and try to help you if you have a problem. I dont know how they keep going and always keep a smile on their faces. The night entertainment was excellent. Live shows everynight in the ampitheatre. Lion king, Grease, Castle of Dreams, Aladdin, comedy sketches, Atlantis which was good and done in and around the pool.
Beach parties on the beach with fire blowing and games and disco, Karaoke, discos, moroccan night with acrobats, snake charmers and different dancers. We thought the entertainment was great and done all by the animation team, which i think helped to make it so enjoyable.
Would I visit this hotel again? Yes I would definately go back here, absolutely loved it, never wanted to come home. The girls have already said they want to go back next year. The weather was a bit cloudy the first week with a few spots of rain which was desert rain and very dirty and stained your clothes and towels but still hot and had to go careful as still caught the sun even with the cloud around, but the second week it was baking hot 40's and some days unbearably hot to sit in. The sand on the beach was too hot to walk on in bare feet so had to walk along the beach in the water.
I would recommend this hotel especially if you have kids as there is so much to do. We all loved it very much.

The hotels food is without doubt the worst I have ever experienced due to their being no children's menu with the exception of boiled to death spaghetti with red water(never bolognese in all this world) sauce.
The chips were so hard you could not use a fork on them.
The food was geared towards the majority, those being the French, Germans and Belgians who from what I witnessed are happy to eat like pigs.
Our family are not people who do not like to try different foods but the choice was very strange making it difficult to put a meal together. For example sliced beef with garlic spaghetti (no suitable sauce)!!.
There are a-la-carte restaurants but you have to book them in advance and the menu quoted when booking is not the same as the one you get. (Chilli con carne especially).
One point of note is that ice creams are not free even though the accommodation is all inclusive and at almost 80p per time the cost builds up.
While we were all there we consumed 36 Imodium and 20 anti bacteria tablets because of our regular daily illness of upset stomachs and occasional sickness.
The illness was not necessarily due to the food because while we were there we did not see the pools cleaned and it was noted that the pool we went in had a ring of algae underneath the rim.
The children's entertainment is again focused on the majority and young children would not be able to understand what was going on due to the different languages being spoken all the time when explaining what they were doing. It was bad enough taking part in the music quiz in all the languages although we did win on both of the weeks much to the larger than life quiz masters annoyance. Strangely the prize was a bottle of Moroccan wine not that we couldn't get it for free and all that.
The beach area is set across a road in between the sand and a piece of barren waste land and would be suitable if you wanted to sit fenced in to protect you from the hoards of Moroccans who are like a plague of locusts on the miles of beach.
One major annoyance about the outside of the hotel is the continual barrage of people trying to get you to hire quads, jet skis and camels.
The staff are very friendly but over step the mark by touching the girls which we found offensive.
The busiest shop by far is the local pharmacy even the hotel concierge was on first name terms collecting his daily list of items for the sick and lame.
I could go on and on but in summary if you want to spend time felling that everything is geared to a minority, with an upset stomach where you can lose pounds in weight and money by having little choice of balanced edible food, sitting on a beach being distracted by 1000's of Moroccans or having plenty of choice for quads and jet skis this is the place for you.
Sadly it was an awful experience for us.

The hotel itself looked great but they obviously couldn't cater for the capacity of guests. Not only did they run out of sunbeds but cups & glasses (people having to drink from plastic cups for tea, coffee, pop, beer and wine when they ran out daily).
Parents encouraging their teenagers to go to the local disco - then the teenagers skinny dipping in the pools at 3am doesn't help either - especially when the main bar shuts at 11am & the lights are turned out forcing people to go to their rooms!
The food was awful and after a few days you lose your appetite totally - either because of the stomach upset you have or the fact that the food is tasteless. Most people who we spoke to had a member of their party who had a stomach upset at some point.
Recommended not to hire a car by the rep & also felt intimidated on the beach or walking around the streets meant we felt we had to stay in the hotel grounds as much as possible.
The trips on offer by the tour operator were overpriced and most people couldn't afford them or simply saved the money to pay for eating out.
The charges for the massage, ice creams, crisps/sweets & arcade machines were a rip off and when the children tried to get change the staff weren't interested so adults had to ask for change (not talking young children here who couldn't communicate but 15 & 17 year olds)!
Although there were lots of British people there the entertainment staff were mainly French & couldn't (or didn't want) to commicate very well with the English speaking.
The staff were very nice IF you tipped them or had a young female in your party (we tested this out on numerous occasions by asking another couple with young girls to join us for meals as we had teenage boys in our party).
We dined out quite a bit and McDonalds was very busy with alot of the hotel guests. The best meal to be had was on the flight home!
I wouldn't recommend this hotel or resort to anyone & the reps just smiled to pacify you when you complain. We even spoke about a reconstruction for Holidays from Hell but I don't think you'd get anyone back!
However, we met lots of nice people who helped to keep each others spirits up & we will all probably keep in touch via this website!
