The hotel itself looked great but they obviously couldn't cater for the capacity of guests. Not only did they run out of sunbeds but cups & glasses (people having to drink from plastic cups for tea, coffee, pop, beer and wine when they ran out daily).
Parents encouraging their teenagers to go to the local disco - then the teenagers skinny dipping in the pools at 3am doesn't help either - especially when the main bar shuts at 11am & the lights are turned out forcing people to go to their rooms!
The food was awful and after a few days you lose your appetite totally - either because of the stomach upset you have or the fact that the food is tasteless. Most people who we spoke to had a member of their party who had a stomach upset at some point.
Recommended not to hire a car by the rep & also felt intimidated on the beach or walking around the streets meant we felt we had to stay in the hotel grounds as much as possible.
The trips on offer by the tour operator were overpriced and most people couldn't afford them or simply saved the money to pay for eating out.
The charges for the massage, ice creams, crisps/sweets & arcade machines were a rip off and when the children tried to get change the staff weren't interested so adults had to ask for change (not talking young children here who couldn't communicate but 15 & 17 year olds)!
Although there were lots of British people there the entertainment staff were mainly French & couldn't (or didn't want) to commicate very well with the English speaking.
The staff were very nice IF you tipped them or had a young female in your party (we tested this out on numerous occasions by asking another couple with young girls to join us for meals as we had teenage boys in our party).
We dined out quite a bit and McDonalds was very busy with alot of the hotel guests. The best meal to be had was on the flight home!
I wouldn't recommend this hotel or resort to anyone & the reps just smiled to pacify you when you complain. We even spoke about a reconstruction for Holidays from Hell but I don't think you'd get anyone back!
However, we met lots of nice people who helped to keep each others spirits up & we will all probably keep in touch via this website!

Most of the bar staff were friendly and for the 1st week was impressed at how they knew who was next in the queue although this was not the case for the latter half of the second week when the French were getting served as soon as they got to the bar and funnily enough were allowed more than 2 drinks unlike us.
I think we were lucky when we went but would certainly not like to go any later than mid July our first 10 days were fine but the complex then got too busy if you timed it wrong you struggled for a table in the restaurants and I nearly got pushed over in the rush for the last bowl at breakfast and was fed up at being pushed around and being banged into.
We were also lucky with the sun beds as our youngest gets up at 0700 he was our sunbed man but if not for him we wouldnt of got one, although I did see some beds not used and a family told the pool man no one had been there for 3 hours and he removed the towels, much to the families annoyance on their return from shopping..
I agree with Nicola about Del Boy what a pain !!!

On arrival we were shown our room which was on the top floor in one of the newer blocks. After climbing the 54 steps to our room(no lift!!) we were impressed to find that there were two separate bedrooms, a small balcony and a huge one that overlooked the complex and had a sea view.
We later found out that these blocks constantly struggled for water as the pressure was very low. In fact the first week we had no water at all from 11pm at night until 7.30am and several of these days it was hit and miss as to whether we had water during the day. We had to save and fill up the water bottles when the water was on so that we could flush the toilet!!!
I had a very bad stomach for 10 of our 14 days and as you can imagine it wasn't very nice when we couldn't flush the toilet. The poor maid (who was lovely) had to carry buckets of water up the stairs when she cleaned the rooms, which incidentally were spotless, yes we did have a few ants but they weren't a problem.
Every evening we had to go to the reception for two 1 litre bottles of water that was all you got between four people. In fact we found it quite strange that you could drink as much alcohol and soft drinks as you wanted during the day but not water. There were water dispensers around the complex but me always found that the water tasted very chalky and upset our stomachs even more.
The lobby bar closed at 11PM sharp and if you were in the queue and the clock got to 11 then tough you didn't get a drink.
The waiters were lovely in the Oasis restaurant and couldn't do enough for us.
The food was ok we always found something to eat but I always dug to the bottom of the serving dishes as there were flies all over the food. Also a few times there were sparrows on the bread table. Only twice did we notice there was ice cream FREE. If you wanted an ice cream you had to buy them.
Some of the bar staff were friendly; some it took all of their time to smile at you.
All in all we had an ok holiday and would go back to Agadir but wouldn't go back to this complex.
We do not like complaining and most of it we could cope with just not the water problem.

The hotel was really clean food for everyones taste (I am the most picky and fussy eater I know!)
The day entertainment was great the animation team are really good at their job and you do sit in awe of them when they speak in at least 5 different languages! The evening shows (well thats a different story!) Very slapstick in the main and suitable for all except on the "Just for Fun" night which was Saturday It was a bit of an adult nature and a bit too lavatorial for us! The dance routines were really good though.
All the staff are really friendly if you have kids going with you (especially young ones) all the waiters take a really keen interest in them and make them feel special. Especially the young one in the oasis restaurant. we tried 3 of the 4 restaurants Moroccan, Mediterranean and the Pizza cant fault any of them!
If your thinking of going on the Burber Night (one of the trips) don't bother! We went and it was the biggest let down of the whole holiday It was ok watching the men dancing and the food was ok but we were put off when you start taking photos they ask for money at every opportunity and the cocktail at the beginning you have to pay for, but it comes through looking like its for free!
We were told it was about 40minutes away but it took us 90minutes each way (too long in a coach for kids).
Looking around the pool you will think all the sunbeds are taken (they're not) give the man at the pool a few dirhams and he will soon find you one (if you do it at the beginning of the week you will have a good spot everyday of your stay!)
We would recommend this hotel to all we are even looking to book again for next year

The room we had for two of us was huge, we had a huge balcony and four beds in the room with the separate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom was disgusting as we had an invasion of ants in the bathroom which we only managed to get rid of in our second week. Likewise on the balcony, we had an ants nest and all up the wall between us and the floor below was covered in them.
Due to the severe lack of sunbeds to be had we took to lying on the balcony as we were fortunate to have the sun all day - this didn't last long as we had to share it with the ants.
The room was cleaned (supposedly) on a daily basis. Now the maid came in daily and gave us fresh towels and made the bed but that was the extent of it - very little "cleaning" was done to be honest and we witnessed this as we lay on the balcony for a few days due to the lack of sunbeds I already mentioned.
If you wanted to get up at 5.00am every morning (at the latest) then it was remotely possible that you might have got a sunbed - if you tipped the pool man apparently you didn't need to do this. I didn't tip the pool man as I don't expect to have to just to receive good service.
If you tip the pool man he gives you a parasol - if you don't he'll make sure you're last to get one and probably you won't get one at all. Apart from that there are signs all over the complex saying "it is forbidden to reserve sunbeds". No it's not and it's ridiculous that people get away with reserving them and then appearing at the pool at about 3.30pm and sitting till 5.00pm and we've had to sit on the grass all day or the ant-ridden balcony.
Some of the staff at this hotel are fine - some of them only smile when they get up in the morning just to get it over with.
If you smoke they have no qualms about coming up and asking you for a cigarette (having never spoken to you before).
The entertainment team try very hard - I do agree that they prefer the French speaking majority however they do make an effort in all languages.
I was pregnant at the time of travelling and as such I had to drink soft drinks. I can't believe that the soft drinks that they serve at the pool are in a small plastic cup - two mouthfuls and it's gone, however if you have a beer you get almost a half pint. I asked loads of times for a bigger glass, they could see I was not a child of five but they refused. I thought this was stupid. I just had to keep going back and forward so eventually I would buy a can of coke at the shop on the complex to save me the hassle.
Don't use the shops on the complex, especially the market as it's very expensive no matter how convenient it is - if you go out the main door of the Pueblo el Tamelt hotel there's a supermarket to the left round the corner and it's much cheaper with better choice.
The food leaves a lot to be desired - I felt like I was eating in a school dining hall - I've been on holidays like this before and I at least had a proper table setting - here you get a paper mat that the waiter can clear away after you. If you don't go in early enough for your meal you'll be lucky to even have cutlery on your table. The cold buffet is fine - not great but it's ok. The hot buffet is awful - the meat especially chicken is never cooked - the guy who does the "carvery" is the most unpleasant man we ever met. "Happy" as we called him throws the meat on your plate - he'll give you maybe two pieces maximum and should you want more than that he draws you daggers. Ok, I wouldn't like to work from 6.00am to late at night but if you don't like it don't do it - get another job.
We never had upset stomachs really but the food left a lot to be desired. We ate out mostly every night for the second week and had some lovely meals. If you book one of the buffet restaurants be prepared to wait for ages - they take bookings from 10.00am till 12 - people start queueing for this at 9.30 and by 10.10 all the restaurants are full - we ate at the Pizzeria and the Mediterranean - they were ok. The girls who take the bookings again can be quite rude and make you feel quite stupid for asking to be booked into a restaurant that is already full.
It would make more sense if they used a computer system and took your bookings for all of them at one time - that way it would avoid queues and having to go on a daily basis to try and get booked in.
The snack bar at lunch time was alright - if you like six chips and a cheese and ham toastie - beefburgers etc weren't always cooked so it's best to steer clear.
We never really sampled the entertainment - it was geared more for kids we felt - we either went out or sat in the lobby bar.
Be warned if you go to the lobby bar which is advertised to open till 12 midnight - they close at 11.00 and put all the lights off - leaving you sitting in the dark to finish your drink and making you feel like you shouldn't - you should get to bed. We thought this was just rude.
You can't get bottled water in the hotel unless you pay for it (except at meal times) but if you go to reception every night between 7pm and midnight they give you one for free (depending how many in your party).
Every time you go out the hotel you're harassed to go into shops and restaurants and some of the shop owners become quite irritated if you don't go in.
The locals also make a habit of dropping their trousers and going to the loo in the street. Very pleasant.
I appreciate this is their country etc but this is disgusting.
We went to the Souk which was huge, and on arrival we got caught by someone who said he was "market security" - he followed us and eventually wouldn't leave us alone - we went into four stalls and then left after being followed by him to the taxi rank to make sure we paid him - we never asked for his help though but he still wanted money.
All we wanted was to wander round on our own and enjoy the atmosphere but no, not here you can't. You're harassed constantly.
I'm sorry if this is negative but this was the type of holiday we had. We always make the most of what we have - we don't spend a lot of money on expensive holidays but we at least expect value for money and this certainly wasn't.

There are four different restaurants for you to eat at which give you a great combination of foods for all tastes.
The entertainment staff are fantastic first class people, the only thing I would say is the mini- disco for the kids is exactly the same every night, but that didn't bother the kids there at all.
We all loved the staff very much and they could not do enough for us, it was also so nice to go back to the room on a night and find that it was spotlessly cleaned, there were always cleaners and gardeners going around the place constantly cleaning and pruning things, it was just perfect.

The food and drink was plentiful and the bars open till midnight.
But even 4 months later, I do remember the negatives... The French/Germans who quite rudely just barge you out of the way in the restaurants and have never heard of queueing - that really got to both of us so we'll book a British hotel in future...
The bar staff got tighter about drinks at the end of our stay - until then, we could have had as many as we liked (not being greedy but made it easier to get a round for our group of 8) but suddenly it was 2 per person!...
The sunbeds - despite signage, they were almost all reserved by the time we surfaced in the morning.
The food got a bit repetitive but was edible and, for once, I didn't once have an upset tum!!! Never had a problem getting a place to sit. The a la carte meals - you could only book one a day but they were quickly full! We were lucky to get ours. The girls taking the bookings always seemed really fed up. No wonder, all their guests were complaining! he he
Good bits? We had a secret pool as it had only just reopened after a refurb so hardly anyone realised it was open. The staff were (99% of them) brilliant.

We were all inclusive & the food was absolutely fine - neither of us suffered with food poisoning or anything of the sort!
My friend is vegetarian & there was so much for us to both choose from.
The cleanliness of the hotel - the maids were about at all times. They worked really hard & would even fold our clothes if we had left them on the bed!
The hotel location was good - walking out of reception you have a strip of bars, caf

The staff were very friendly and the food and entertainment was good.
The rooms are quite basic although they are kept really clean daily.
We were a large group and all enjoyed the holiday as one of our best and will be returning later this year.
