Just got back from the Caribbean Village Agadir. This Hotel is bad. The food is awful. There is the main restaurant which is a buffet, then there are four others, a Pizza place, Chinese, Moroccan and a Mediterranean.
We ate at the Buffet, the Pizza place and the Chinese all were as bad as each other so we didn't bother with the last two. We went in a party of four and all of us were ill at one time or another. After watching the cleaner mop the bar floor, then wipe the bar tops with the same cloth we decided it was time to find somewhere else to eat. We found a restaurant called La Scala just outside the complex which was excellent and very reasonably priced.
After speaking to other English guests during our stay it appeared everyone had the same issues. The rooms are tired looking and in need of refurbishment. The shower head in our room was hanging off the wall and the bath and shower curtain were covered in rust marks. The rooms were nothing like the pictures we had seen on various web sites. There is also a very large German contingent so be ready to fight for the best sun beds and seats in the bars. We had to but it did make for some good entertainment.
On the plus side the pool areas, gardens and Tennis courts are all well maintained and the complex is not far from the beach where there is a nice snack bar.
If you've already booked good luck!!

I have just come back from this hotel 3 weeks ago & I can't wait to go back!
I loved every minute - the staff are fantastic - couldn't fault them. We made friends with all of the animation (entertainment) team & majority of the bar staff. They are all brilliant fun & completely mad most of them!
The maids work their socks off - all times of the day you see them around the apartments & going in & out of the blocks.
The food wasn't the best I've had but at the end of the day you are in a foreign country & they try to provide for every nationality. There is a vast choice, salads, pasta, pizza, fish etc.
The A la carte restaurants were nice - maybe not the 5* standard you'd expect in the UK but certainly could have been a lot worse!

We found the rooms to be in a poor state of repair and dirty. Our room had rust in the bath and mould all over the wall tiles and shower curtain.
We had a paned glass door to the terrace and the panels of glass had been selotaped together to stop them falling out as there were no wooden struts to hold the glass in.
The room smelt of mildew and the closet space was minimal.
There was no fridge, so we could not keep bottled water and milk chilled.
