Es Cana is a family friendly resort. However beach is quite small and a lot of sea weed. Plenty of restaurants bars and shops and very compact resort. Restaurants very good value for money. Local people very friendly. Would definately go back to Es cana. Having stayed on other occasions in San Antonio Bay and Santa Eulia, Es Cana is my favouite.

A quite resort compaired to much of Ibiza. Good for families and couples looking to relax. Lots of good bars and restaurants. The beach is good but after storms there may be sea weed and jelly fish. If spending time on the beach, the Es Pins beach bar serves good food and cold drinks. Rio's Showbar (just past the Hotel Ereso) is always good fun and they do have a completely mad barman; a fanatical Real Madrid supporter its a great place to wear a Barcelona shirt if you have one.

Loved Cala Nova Beach and Es Cana Beach and spent a day at Cala Martina Beach(keep walking past the hippy market).

The resort of Es Cana is a friendly and welcoming place plenty of good eating houses and drinking holes that offer good value and good enntertainment especially charlies and popeyes.
The beach is always kept clean and the water is clear.

Es Cana is a small resort with a few shops, restaurants and bars. There is a small beach with sunbeds and umbrellas.
We went on the Road Train (Morning 3 hr trip) which took us to San Carlos and some beaches, which was a lovely morning out. They also run an afternoon trip which goes more inland and an evening trip to Santa Eulalia, where you get an hour to have a look around.
There is also a boat which goes from Es Cana, tickets for this can be purchased at the hotel.
If you are looking for a relaxed holiday, with a little bit of everything available, then this is the place for you.

The resort is quite small and we were a little disappointed with the lack of Spanish style restaurants/tapas bars. However, it is a lovely little resort and it caters well for families and couples. There were several areas that had fair ground attractions (these weren't all open as it was the end of the season) which looked quite good fun if you had young children.
There are two beaches, one in the resort and one on the way out to Santa Eulalia. We didn't use the beaches but they looked clean and safe with a few cafes and supermarkets to buy food and drink.
You can walk to Santa Eulalia along the coast which is very pretty. The Hippy Market was interesting, although most of the stalls sold the same stuff.
We enjoyed Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town and if we ever head back to Ibiza we would probably try a different resort.

The resort was very clean with lots of bars to go to, Apache for cheap cocktails, Charlies for a good quiz and a game of bingo.
If you are missing English soaps go to Freddy and Julies or The Nags Head.
The pub right opposite the Ereso (Miramar?) has the cheapest drinks.

Es Cana is a lovely resort with lots to do, its mostly flat and is ideal for people with mobility problems, the Marbella, Maryvent and Zodiac were briliant for food and the Zodiac on Sun night with Vinnie Hill was a good nights entertainment,
There are some nice shops, a lovely beach and everyone is very friendly I found prices much cheaper than Salou and our money went a long way there.
There are also some amusements for the kids. We went on the train to San Carlos and the visit to the old farmhouse is well worth the trek up the hill, the train journeys are great value at 12 euros each and last 3 hours.
The boat trip to Ibiza town is 13 euros and lasts 90 minutes so leave plenty time for shopping as the shops are lovely. Santa Eulalia is great for shopping and eating out.
I hope to visit Es Cana next year again it was such a lovely suprise

Lots of smelly sea weed on parts of Es Cana beach! Personally we thought the Cala Nova beach was better than the Es Cana beach. Resort was generally acceptable.
