We cannot comment on the resort entertainment as we stayed in the hotel at night. We found the resort to be a little on the small side and would probably prefer to try the neighbouring resort of Santa Eulalia. To go to other resorts on the island by public bus, you have to go to Santa Eulalia by bus and change to another bus.

The resort itself has plenty of shops, bars which tend to have some form of entertainment going on each night , restaurants, water sports, sunbeds parasols on the beach which is a lovely soft sand and very safe for small children to paddle, spotlessly clean. There is a another beach Cala Nova which is well worth a visit, actually my favourite

A very clean resort ideal for families but with limited entertainment. Charlies Bar had live entertainment and good dance music. Beach excellent with life guards and very clean. Sun beds bit pricey but worth it with parasols. Very nice beach bars for food and drinks. Beautiful sea to swim in.

We found the resort a lot cleaner than our last visit 2 yrs ago.The resort is fine for families of all ages but I wouldn't tell anyone over 17 to go here in groups as the resort attracts families with wanabee 18 yr olds and it is fine for this age group but 18's up will find it boring.
The beach seemed to have lots of seaweed this year and wasn't particulary attractive.

Resort itself ok - stayed at worst but compared to the greek isles there is no comparison. Beach was lovely and could always get a sunbed no matter what time you went. Plenty of bars with friendly people. Have now done Ibiza (weather was rubbish by the way and it was August), rained, thundered, cloudy for 6 out of 14 days so next year its somewhere Greek.

The town that time forgot, it looks like it was on the up a few years ago and then it just gave up.
Beaches nice and one of the resorts saving gaces.

The resort was very clean. No rubbish to be seen. The road sweeper was out every morning (not noisy). Plenty to do pedalos, watersports, boat trips.
The bars were lively. The beach was lovely.
I would definitely come back again!

Es Cana has lots of shops and restaurants.
IT has a lovely beach. Sunbeds were 3.5 euro each, parasol 3.50 euro each. Beware loads of jellyfish around 4 o'clock even if you are just paddling they can get you. Motorised pedalo 20 euro for 30 mins, normal pedalo 10 euro for 1 hour. be careful as we seen at least 2 pedalos (in different areas) capsize
There are mini dogems (5 euro for 3 turns or 10 euro for 7 turns) and bungee trampoline (5 euro for 5 mins) then down the road more adult dodgems and another show ride. On the other side of the bay there is a massive inflatable slide which was 5 euro for the children to play on all night, more bungee trampolines 6 euro 5 mins, normal trampolines 3 euro for 20 mins, then opposite was a bar with a bull which was 2 euro a go.
500ml bottles of pop were approx 80 euro in the shops.
went on the boat to Santa Eulalia which leaves every hour (cost 24 euro) for 2 adults and 2 kids. One little boy spent the whole 25 mins throwing up over the side and we ended up with the backwash of it! Very boring to do in Sant Eulalia. Even less shops than Es Cana but has more restaurants and has a KFC/Pizza hut which can be ok if you get it at the right time. first meal was ok but second time we went was horrible, everything cold and very very slow. Got the bus the second time, took about 10 mins and cost 1.2 euro each (kids same price as adults)

Numerous collection of shops in this area, but as usual all sell the same items. Obviously Hippie Market a most on a Wednesday, but get there early (just after 9), as it seems all Ibiza decend on this Market. Various bars/restaurants.
