We found Es Cana a very nice "little" resort. The beach is very clean. There are regular boats/ferry services to other resorts. There is also a road train to Santa Eularia, the bigger resort along the bay. Es Cana is not a big resort, but would be ideal for families and couples, who like a quiet simple holiday, perhaps not lively enough for younger people, as there is not much "nightlife" apart from the bars and restaurants.

Es Cana is a compact place, with lots of bars, 'holiday' shops, and cafes'. Buses and taxis were easy to use.
It is a family resort, and we really liked it there.
But do you know what the best experience of the holiday was?? Not being bugged by timeshare touts!!...not one to be seen. This is our second visit to Es Cana....and I would recommend the resort.

It was a quiet resort so if your looking for entertainment it wont be for you, although we always go to busy family resorts and this was a great holiday.
It has a supermarket just outside that sells everything.
We went for meals every night and didnt have a bad one in the restuarants from currys, lasagne, pizza, salads, scampi and for around 50 euros with drinks.. Dont attempt sunday roasts out though they havent got a clue and ended up with bloody meat and runny granules.
It was clean, lovely beach, and cant wait to go back!

Es Cana was very small resort, but very clean, and easy to get round. The harbour was small, we took bread and fed the thousands of fish every night, from the side of the road. Beach very small, and could get crowded, but was very pleasant. You didnt get pestered by sellers of gifts or fruit because it was small. Cafes and restaurants all along the beach, which were all very reasonably priced, in fact we didnt feel we were being ripped off by anyone, even shop salesmen and waiters were very friendly and helpful. We went out on the glass bottom boat one day, it was early and only 7 of us on board, but they still showed us everything there was to see. The little train was a nice experience and you could see the countryside from it.

Es Cana is a small resort but with a good variation of bars, shops and resturants. It's good for talking a stroll after dinner. There are a couple of clubs if you want them but Es Cana is a quieter side of Ibiza. Most of the bars have their own entertainment so if you don't like the entertainment in your hotel, you're sure to find some you do like elsewhere.

The shops do sell the typical tourist trash but also stock some really nice stuff.

The main beach is fairly small, and in parts not particularly clean but perfectly ok. If you want larger waves go to the beach by the campsite - the waves are great for lilo's and surfing.

I like this place because it's not 'in your face' with loud music and drunken revellers everywhere. Good for families, but also good if you are a couple just wanting a fairly quiet week in the sun.

We have been to Es Cana twice now so we would probably stay in another resort if we went back, but for anyone who has not been yet it is a small resort but plenty to do shopes, resturants and games rooms. The beach is nice we only went on it a couple of times.
The weather was great but we did have about half a day of rain, but all in all a nice clean, quite resort.

Nice and quiet but enough to not get bored. Lovely beach with some nice eateries. couple of little fun fares for kids. ferry runs daily to other resorts. Each Wednesday there's a hippy market on. Nice place to chill out.

The beach was swept every second night but had a lot of cigarette butts in it, which annoyed me, especailly for the wee man building sandcastles.

Jelly fish appeared for 3 out of 7 days on the shoreline and although I never saw anyone being stung it made us very wary and had to keep dragging my son back again.

Es Cana good for kiddies entertainment at night - we had a circuit whereby we went to the bumper cars the up to the trampolenes and walk along the beach to tire son(and us) out.

Thomas train trips very good and worth the money and glass bottom boat trip good value, although if taking kids taking a poly bag with you - all the kids puked!

We have been to Es Cana six times now it is a really good resort for families infact for anybody.

Entertainment is Spanish/english bars with a couple of discos for the younger ones.

The beach is very good water gently shelving so alright for the smaller ones watch out for the jellyfish though.
