Resort is close to San Antonio but a bit in the middle of nowhere. There is little going on around here away from hotel. Cala Gracio has a nice beach in a pretty and sheltered cove, but little else other than the aquarium, a small supermarket (very friendly owner)and a couple of bars/restaurants. The walk into San Antonio is uninspiring, either via some tatty streets or the rocky seafront. The sunset at Cafe Mambo is well worth the walk though. Sadly, there is a lot of graffiti and dog mess in this area.
There is a very reliable, but not very frequent bus service from near the Tanit to San Antonio. The last bus back from San Antonio runs at 9pm which is a bit early. The hotel reception will provide a copy of the timetable.

The bay has every thing for adults, teens and kids, the best resort I have been too and will continue to visit 10/10 only one thing I found the prices have risen a lot, be great if they didn't go any higher..............

I love Ibiza, going back this year 3rd year running. Resort isn't very clean but when your drunk you don't notice.
Sofa king good is the best bar in the westend. Can't wait to go back.

Ibiza (San Antonio) was amazing and have already booked a holiday to go back this summer with the same hotel rosalia with more friends.
The only thing is, there is no air conditioning in the hotel, but there was a fan and balcony, and to tell you the truth, you dont go to Ibiza for luxury. Your either out or sleeping.
The beaches are gorgeous, you can see fish and squid and all clear. the beaches themselves are very clean with lots of entertainment, like parasailing, banana boats, sunset tours, you name its got it.
Entertainment in Ibiza is great for anyone who likes to meet people, go out, have a great time, and never sleep : )
Its the best holiday Ive been on.
im going back next year.

The kids loved the pool, the beach is just across the road, if you turn left there's plenty of bars and places to eat and if you go right its about 20 minutes to San Antonio town.
Yes the hotel is basic, but if your looking for a good location to experience the mayhem but be far enough from it to chill out when you just fancy a few drinks this is ideal.
If your normal family hol consists of spending lots of time round the hotel day and night I wouldn't recommend this, but if you like the bars and your kids are old enough to enjoy a night out and are into music(ours are 13 and 16 yr old lads and loved it!!)
I would recommend the Ibizamar.

Before I went to Ibiza, I always said I would never go, because I expected it to be dirty and unsafe. I have worked in abroad before and it was very unclean so I kinda did the wrong thing and assumed they were the same. I was so glad that my boyfriend persuaded me to go to Ibiza. It was amazing. Very clean and only ever saw 1 cockroach between the 2 times I have been. There were bars everywhere, all packed and different places to go to to suit different tastes.
The beach in San Antonio is nice, but you can go to a much nicer.cleaner beach if you hop on the water taxi towards the bay - but we often just stayed at the beach in San Antonio centre.
I would definately go to Ibiza again, in fact, I am going to miss not going there this year. ******

San Anotonio is amazing. There is something for everyone there and it is a very clean resort. Yoi will never be bored for antything to do. Not the best place for eating out. There are plenty of rstaurants all one next to the other near the fountains, but they are all the same and the food isnt that great if you want a decent meal. We often got the ferry to the bay, ate there and walked back.
Beaches are lovely - better in the bay, and I would definately go again!******************

The resort in general (Cala Gracio) was very clean, although the little cove nearest the hotel was having a problem with jelly fish whilst we were there, a life guard regularly got a net and removed them, the beach was cleaned every other day, we used to watch them from our balcony, no resort entertainment other than an aquarium nearby you need to travel into San Antonio or the Bay taxi cost approx 5 euros, I would love to go back again but when its a bit quieter I had a 17 year old and a 9 year old and they were disgusted by some of the behaviour they saw.

Can't really call it a resort, nothing there to do.
