The top end of the bay is a bit quieter.
A lot of repaving was going on when we were there. Generally it was clean.
It was only the beginning of the season when we were there so it was a bit low key entertainment wise, but still very nice.

I go to san antonio twice per year every year but travel a lot around the island. San antonio is quite grubby compared to other resorts with dog poo being a particular problem, everywhere you go its there. The resort is undergoing a bit of renovation at the momemt, with lots of road works and building works around cala de moro. The beach although wide and deep isnt very nice around the town, its been recently laid with builders sand and is quite course. A tractor tries to level it every other day to stop it getting compacted but makes the beach look like a farmers field with troughs. the beaches around cala de moro, cala gracia and gracienetta as well as cala salada are all within five minutes from the centre and much nicer
Overall I love san antonio, not so much for the butlins style hotels and restaurants, but for the chill out music, sunsets and youth culture as I tend to go for the club preparties at the likes of mambo, coastline and bar M and love the ambient theme of Kumharas. I will be back again in august and will no doubt continue visiting theisland for many eyars to come

The area around the hotel was lovely, especially for walks in the evening, I would recommend walking towards San Antonio Bay (away from the pubs) for a peaceful walk.
If you head towards the town you will get approached to go into every bar (they don't listen to no thank you and just walk with you instead!!)
Again the only reason we would not come to this part of Ibiza is because of the noise from other people throughout the night

It was ok but there was quite a lot of jellyfish in the sea!

There was much roadwork going on in the small back streets, many shops were closed, I was not warned about this but not unduly bothered as my holiday was not intended for shopping

San Antonio bay is very clean with numerous beaches.Plenty of different types of entertainment for all ages,Us as a family would only go at the begining and end of the season as we were told that high season is very busy and noisy with all the young ones hitting the clubs.
Just wish I had gone 20 yrs ago,and yes we would visit again.

I was a bit sceptical about San Antonio as my clubbing days are over but we were really suprised just how pretty it actually is,go out of season when the clubbers have gone home if its not your bag and watch the most fantastic sunsets on an evening. There are plenty of authentic little restaurants and bars and fast food to choose from,we never went hungry.
The beach was a bit poor, you got the feeling someone had just plonked a load of sand at the end of the marina and decided to call it a beach,it looked a bit scruffy but it was the cleanest sea i'd ever seen and the beach looked as if it was cleaned each evening.
I'd visit the resort again for a week but not two as i like to see a bit of a countries culture and customs when i go away and Ibiza is trying too hard to accomodate us Brits but it was a enjoyable time and i'd recommend it asr a quick getaway to recharge your batteries.

Very qiet due to the time of year but we just made the most and had a great time, a little more expensive than anticipated and someone really needs to sort out the bank machines.
