Santa Eualia is a quite sophisticated resort, popular with Brits and Germans mostly. The town is easily accessed from the aprtments and is a mere ten minutes walk away.

The beach front is like Blackpool in the sun, without the Kiss Me Quick hats but only just. Lots of typical resort bars and restaurants offering British food, beer and Sky Sports and not cheap either. Further back the town is pretty good, some nice shops a good little market close to the bus station and the Euoski supermarket.

Eating Out. We ate in La Paella, near the apartments, which was not bad, although I wanted to try the Parilla Argentina along the road which looked great but we never got there.

Mariners, the kids loved because they got to run about, the food was reasonable but 70 Euros for two kids two adults and one bottle of wine?.

Pier No.1 offered fresh fish and we had the fish platter for two at 26 Euros, we got three mussels each, one sardine, one small red mullet and a lumpof what may have been cod. Sorry but hey cost to them about 3 Euros.
We had an unspeakable meal in Ibiza Town, very bad tempered waiter, awful service, awful food.
We had a great meal in Restaurant Jardin La Rambla in Paseo de S'lamera.

Shopping beware the little market stalls in the same street as La Rambla, they are a rip off. My daughter bought a pussy cat purse for 6 Euros and then we found this amazing discount department store on the last night, the same purse 2 Euros, they also do leather goods designer handbags and sports gear at very very cheap prices. Ibiza town is ok for shopping but go during the day.

Trips. As there is no formal Thomson reception, hooray I hate them anyway, you can either phone and book or make ypour own arrangements. We went to the Hippy Market in Es Cana by boat, on the day of the worst storm I have ever seen. The market was ok but lots of stalls selling the same thing and again watch the prices. Lots of Looky Looky Men selling fake gear, my wife bought some and they are actually not bad quality. They are fake though.

Ibiza Town is a mere half hour on the bus and is well worth it but go in the morning and spend the day and evening there, we went far too late and ended up a bit lost and eating an awful meal before coming home.

The Water Park at Playa D'en Bossa is fine two short bus trips and you're there. !5 Euros for adults and 8 for kids. Our five year old got on all the rides except the Black Hole and the Terminator, our little one got on one of the big slides which really pleased him. We went about 2 in the afternoon and it wasn't too bad.

Lots of water for little ones to splash about in and as he came in a buggy he got in for free. The resort is a hell hole, as we arrived a gang of yobs were being ejected from Space and proceeded to vomit right in front of us. It is full of 18-30's sleeping off last nights boozing and whatever. Oh yeah take your own food there, the food on sale is so bad I gave serious thought to eating the paper plate and leaving the food.

Formentera, we went on the boat and it was great unfortunately the storm the day before had left the seas very choppy and we found that by the time we had got to the beach, we only had a few hours before we had to herad back for the last ferry at 5.15. My advice here is stay there overnight and take more time to explore it looked fantastic.

The entertainment at the Don Carlos was your usual holiday fodder, ageing crooners, the sort of stuff you would expect. Cerveza Grande mate, Viva Espania that sort of thing. The kids liked the Belgian guy Wim and he was good with them but the adult stuff was pretty average. Lots of England tops around all the time but strangely not so many on Thursday!!.

Beaches were pretty clean and the water quality good, best one was the little one near the Don Carlos. The river stank of sewage and we avoided the beach near it.

Would we go back there... no but only because I don't believe in going back to the same place twice. Take my advice and that of others on here and you'll have agreat time, the people are fantastic, the place is great just watch you don't get burned!!!.

The resort of Santa Eullalia is big but easy to get round.Very nice marina and 2 decent size beach's (I guess though would be too small in the peak season ?).
Very clean promenades (no dog muck as others have stated),nice choice of shops, and craft stalls most evenings near the town hall square.Mini land train that takes you out and about for 2 hours for 11 euros (good value)
It all depends what you are after in a resort if this is the one for you.
1.Family with kids who aren't botherd with 'fun pubs'= Yes
2.Quality restaurants = Yes
3.Brit style pubs with kareoke/bingo etc..(not many) = No

it was a fairly long and steep walk down to the beach, with lots of building work going on along the way.(not a place to stay if you have trouble walking) the beach was very nice and the parade of shops along the beach was very nice too.

Santa Eulalia is one of Ibiza's quieter resorts. We went to the next resort on for evening entertainment as this resort didn't offer much in this catagory.

The resort had some lovely restaurants we tried to go somewhere different.Throughout the day and especially for breakfast we went to Mel's dinner which is along the sea front it offers excellent value for money and very good service very friendly down to earth place, offering a range of typical english food.

Shops weren't all that special and not cheap cheap either. This resort is excellent for quiet evening strolls along the promenade. Marina is lovely to go and see we went quite often.

Beaches were ok although on our last couple of days we couldn't use the beach opposite our hotel as there was a storm and the beach got washed away and was very dirty after but before then both beaches were very nice.

5 times in Santa Eulalia in the last 5 years, & I'm sure we'll be back.

Ideal place to spend a week of relaxation. Doss around, drink (German!)beer, eat tapas, get sunburnt.

Great place. The perfect ying, to San Antonio's yang.

The Resort is ideal for couples and families who want to escape the wildness of San Antonio. Plenty of Bars, Restaurants,Designer shops and a parade of hippy style stalls. The beach is fine and sandy and you felt safe to swim in the sea. The marina is nice with some very expensive boats to look at.
