Santa Eulalia is a lovely resort and much less commercialised than some of the others.
The marina area is beautiful with some lovely restaurants and bars to sit and chill in while overlooking the lovely boats/marina. I would particularly recommend 'Liquido bar' for easy chill out music and a great place to sit and watch the world go by and 'Mirage' for a totally different night which has live entertainment from 10pm (we did notice in the last few days of the holiday it was becoming increasingly busy with families).
The best place for eating in the evening is locally known as 'Restaurant row' (located a few streets back from the front near the town hall/square) where you can find a wide assortment of food to cater for all tastes.
I can thoroughly recommend 'Cardomon Cafe' for the best Indian food, 'Daffers' for a very reasonable set menu (only 15 euros per person for a 3 course meal), 'La Bota' for great pizzas and the biggest greek salad ever!! and 'The Gallery' for a great choice of food and service.
Santa Eulalia is a great place to relax and in a great location to travel around the rest of the island - especially to watch the sunset in San Antonio this is such a great atmosphere!!

This was our second visit to Santa Eulalia and the resort hasn't changed - always room on the beach, choice of sunbeds etc on one beach bring your own on the other. Hotel about seven minutes walk from beach and two minutes to the port area of the resort

As this was our first visit to Ibiza we were unsure what to expect of St Eulalia, but we really liked the resort.
The marina and bay areas were pleasant to walk around with plenty of shops bars and restaurants to visit.
The beaches were cleaned on a regular basis and plenty of loungers and parasols were available at a small charge.

Santa Eulalia is a lovely resort. It is very clean with plenty of bars and shops a bit more upmarket than the usual tat shops. A relaxing stroll to the Marina to drool over the luxury yachts in the harbour is a great way to spend an evening, stopping off for a drink or two on the way of course!! The bus service and ferries are very reliable and take you to many of the other resorts on the island. Also the mini train from the main square is a very pleasant two hour trip. The driver kept us entertained with his amusing local knowledge. The beaches are nice and clean and the sea is clear for swimming.

Santa Eululia is very upmarket, fantastic harbour that makes you dream of winning the lottery when you see the yachts, very clean.
A couple of small clean beaches and a brand new promenade which is lovely, there is a little market every day thats great for gifts, and some fabulous places to eat

This resort is, by comparison with most Balearic resorts, quite upmarket. Very few tourist tat shops, lot's where there are no prices in the window! Relatively few car hire shops, plenty of Sunseeker yachts in the harbor. The exact opposite of San Antonio and the clubbing image, but beware, this is reflected in the prices of food and drink along the seafront.
Ignore the comments about dog-dirt, at least during high season. Perhaps they don't clean up so much at other times. There is some around, but it only stands out because everything else is so clean and almost litter free. There was considerably more chewing gum on the pavements than dog dirt! I would gladly exchange Santa Eulalias street cleaning standards for those of any of the towns I have ever lived in the UK.
There appeared to be no pressure at all on beach space, and I never saw a completely full restaurant. I suspect this is because the German economic downturn is causing them to stay away at the moment. English is spoken almost everywhere, and 9 times out of 10 when i tried to use my basic spanish, I was replied to in english.
There are regular and reliable boat services to Ibiza town and other resorts, but beware, even if it looks calm, it can get EXTREMELY choppy. on the other hand, Ibiza's inland scenery is not exactly rivetting, so a bus journey, although probably quicker and cheaper, is very boring.
Evening entertainment in bars was difficult to find. There is a "live music" bar near the harbour (behind the landing stage for the ferries). Most activity seemed to be based around the hotels. The usual spanish occupation of people watching was in full swing along the promenade between 21.00 and 23.00. Lost of locals, not just tourists.
The local police were in evidence, but there was absolutely no indication of a problem; no gangs of youths or aggrssive peddlars. A few buskers around, but again, not aggressive.
Several Internet Cafe's around. The big one up some steps from the seafront promenade is not air conditioned; the small one round the corner to the right on the road behind is! Cost 2 Euros for an hour, much cheaper than hotel lobby services. Tip: Spanish keyboards dont have an @ symbol; you need to press [Alt Gr] + [2] together!
An excellent resort for younf families and older couples, not much for teenagers though.

We stayed in Santa Eulalia and this resort is about as good as it gets. The beaches are clean, safe and have a lifeguard on duty. The shops are plentiful with majority of staff with good english. There are loads of bars and cafes with a good variety of food and drink. We would recommend this resort to anyone.

Lovely, pretty resort.
Loads of great places to eat and drink, ideal for families.
The beaches are great and clean, lots of beach bars etc. Not too extortionate to hire sunbeds either.
We have visited this area 3 times and are hoping to go again 2006.
Dont expect wild bars and discos, but friendly welcoming bars and great food!
