The locals do like their dogs but it waould have been nice if all locals clearerd the dog mess up. But after saying that all in all it was a very clean place.
The beaches was very clean and we did see lots of bins for rubbish.
The locals we found to be very nice and helpful I bought a jacket from one of the many shops and the lady made sure it fitted by doing small alterations free of charge.
The only draw back from the 2weeks stay was having to come home.

The resort of Santa Eulalia is beautiful and has a lot to offer. There are two main areas to eat, the marina ( which is more pricey ) and restaurant street. There is something to suit everyones taste. I would recommend Bistro T Lautrec for service. Ask for Paco he is an amazing spanish guy. On average a meal for 4 including drinks costs between 65 - 90 Euros. Check the menu before going in! The walk into either of the eating areas takes about 10 mins and isnt unpleasant. Also check out Mangos, turn right out of the apartments and keep going, the view, food and drink is worth it!

This was our first visit to Santa Eulalia, having visited San Antonio Bay and Port des Torrent previously, in 2005.

Compared to the other two resorts, we thought Santa Eulalia was excellent, and would defintiely go back there, and recommend it to others.

The resort is clearly geared towards families and 'older' people - in that, I mean don't go to Santa Eulalia if you are expecting a clubbing resort like San Antonio. It just has a very relaxed atmosphere.

There are loads of bars, cafe's and restaurants to visit - and the bars are very relaxed, not the kind of bars you might expect at the likes of San Antonio.

There are also lots of shops - not just typical souvenir shops, but stores and supermarkets, etc.

There are two main beaches in Santa Eulalia - Santa Eulalia beach which deosn't have any sunloungers on it, and Playa Del Rio, which is directly outside the Hotel Riomar where we stayed. This beach does have sunloungers for use, at a cost of 3.50 euors/day. Both beaches were very clean, and were regularly serviced to keep the seaweed clear, etc.

There is a long promenade which goes from Mariners bar just past the Hotel Riomar, right along to the harbour/marine. From one end to the other its about a 30 minute walk, but not a tiring walk.

The harbour/marina is also very nice, with lots of bars. cafes and restaurants, and some fantastic boats/yachts to look at.

There is also a rver which runs up the side of Mariners bar, which has a bridge over it, and a small play park for children. the river is full of fish and ducks, and its great to take some bread up to feed them.

Also, go to the Hippy Market at Es Cana on a wednesday -its an experience!!

So Overall, we loved the resort, and would defintiely go back.

Snta Eulalia is a beautiful resort. Lovely promenade to walk along. Bars and restaurants all along many with live bands. Not at all your lager louts and karaoke bars. This is more for families and couples.
Beach is lovely although beach near marina has no sun beds.

The entertainment staff, Toni and the girls did a great job and worked really hard - volleyball, table tenis football, basketball, darts. Not much going on at night, mini disco for the kids, but as our kids are older we strolled to the town and returned for last hour at hotel.
The beach was lovely, would recommend going to the beach further in in the town as you can hire sunbeds and brollies and there are watersports
We visited Ibiza town - 7 euros from bus station - really busy, buzzing with loads of bars and shops.
Had a great time and lucky you if you have booked to go - You will have a brill holiday

This resort is very clean and has a long prom which is flat and has many bars and restaurants all along it.
There are a couple of music bars but mainly it is a more relaxed resort. The sandy beach is cleaned regularly.
There are plenty of shops (especially shoe shops) in the centre of the resort.
Water taxis are available to take you to nearby resorts and also to Ibiza Town and Formentera at a reasonable rate.
This is not the place for night clubbers but very nice if you want to relax in pleasant surroundings.

The beaches are beautiful and clean though none within 5 minutes walk of the complex. Mangos was a great place to chill and enjoy a late night drink. We used buses to visit Ibiza town, Es Cana and St Antonio and found them to be clean, reasonably priced and for the most part reliable. The only down side was that except for Es Cana all other buses have to be boarded from the town bus depot, meaning a 30-40 min walk or taxi (5-6 euro). Plenty of bars with evening entertainment/music. My only dislike of this resort was that dog mess was not cleaned up on paths, otherwise excellent.

The resort is very clean and friendly, There is a bar a little stroll from the hotel called the Marina that have got tribute shows every night, we saw a couple and enjoyed them, just keep an eye on what you order, as there were a few mix ups, you order with a waiter on computer at the table, another waiter brings the drinks, and you pay at the end of the night

We have biased view of St Eulalia as we have been there 14 times and keep returning. It is not a custom built resort but is a working Spanish town that is a holiday resort. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with a reserved but enjoyable atmosphere. Don't miss the pedestrianised restaurant street that runs parallel to the main street. No clubbers or lager louts here. There is a beautiful marina with restaurants and bars.
There are plenty of walks in the town and it is also possible to walk over the cliffs to Es Cana with a stop at each of the many beach bars on the way.
St Eulalia is more up market and a tad more expensive than Es Cana. It is also much nicer
