The resort is ideal for families with fantastic beaches (with a life guard), and a friendly atmosphere throughout. The entertainment is based around relaxing in restaurants with the odd live singer and strolling along the and promenade, rather than lively night clubs and British pubs.
We favoured the beach promenade of restaurants for slightly more value for money than the 'street of restaurants' in the town. We would recommend the Mar y Sol for some enjoyable meals and Ice Age for good priced drinks and fabulous home made ice cream, owned by a lovely, young and friendly Spanish couple.

santa eullalia is a lovely resort, the only thing that spoils it is the amount of dog poo on the walkways.

This is an excellent daytime family resort providing an excellent beach clean sandy beach (gently shelving) and access to others close by by bus, taxi or boat. The river walk provides a change of scenery and the children do love feeding the ducks and fish.
If you are looking for more lively nightlife then you will have to travel elsewhere as Santa Eulalia is more low key, restaurant based with the possible exception of Mariners bar at the far end of the resort with some higher quality club entertainers. Maybe there is more in high season.
The lovely promenade is occasionally ruined by the dog poo, but it does seem to be cleaned daily.

We have stayed in Santa Eulalia before, in 2005. Since then I think the dog poo on the roads lets it down. The harbour area is kept clean, I wish the surrounding roads match up to it.

Busy working town that also relies on the tourist population to provide employment. Not the pretiests towns but certainly has all the amenities and is prety much self contained. The resort itself is fairly quiet and laid back, only one or two bars with any music apart from the occassional tribute act from time to time.Lovely marina with some stunning yachts. Two beaches, both of which are suitable for bathing. The promedade is nice for a stroll, where the world and quite literally his dog, walk out morning and night;mind the poop;it's everywhere.

Lots of good shops and bars for food and drink. Marina great to look around the lovely boats. There are two little trains to catch to tour about. The red one is brilliant and is outside the town hall at 10am, 12pm and 3pm.The other is outside some hotels near the Marina with a sign of Thomas the Tank engine as a pick up point.
Good sand on the main beach area and plenty of places for drink and food.

Excellent resort.
A Spanish working town first that caters for holiday makers second. Has all the shops, bars and infrastructure you will need with a brilliant beach and promenade yet small and compact. The street of eateries is wonderful.
A must for families and couples. Clubheads need not apply!

Loved the resort of Santa Eulalia, it is a working town first and resort second. When you sit in the bars and cafe's (away from the seafront), you are mingling with the locals. It's a very safe resort, not somewhere where the young one's go. We were half board in the hotel so we didn't eat out but you are spoilt for choice of where to eat out. We used to go in Bar Royalty, and Click bar for a drink, and Sandys bar does an excellent Mojito! We found a lovely local bakery as well for our ensimadas! It's great walking round the marina and looking at all the big boats, another nice bar which overlooks the marina is Liquido. We did the land train which is worth doing. A 3hr trip into the countryside and a couple of local beaches. We loved this resort and what makes it is the fact that it's a busy working town and it was a great place for me to practice my spanish, yes we would return again.
