We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcudia was great, the hotel was within easy reach of all
facilities.
The beach was a short walk and there is a busy road to cross but we didn't find this a problem as the traffic stops
to let you cross.
The beach was excellent and we would visit Alcudia again.

Resort of Alcudia was fine with magnificent very child friendly beach. Restaurants were plentiful and quite varied. Only drawback was early closing time of restaurants and most pubs.

Alcudia beach was lovely! Sun loungers could be hired for about 3-4 euros a day and it was never crowded. Refreshments were easily available and there were the usual tourist and souvenier shops. There were lots of eating places and fun things for young children to do. There didn't seem to be centre to the resort, it was rather spread out, so lots of different areas to explore.

The Beach in Alcudia was amazing. It was so clean and we always got sunbeds. The entertainment was great, espically in The Posh Paddy which was around the corner from our appartment so it wasn't too far to walk! I would definately go again because everyone had a great time and come back with really good tans!

The beach at alcudia was superb. We loved going there, the water was warm and shallow, great for the kids. You can hire sunbeds and parasols for a small price, which we did. The market is on Tuesdays/Sundays. We got a taxi there from hotel which was aprox 10euros. The market was good, plenty to buy. The queue for the taxi back wasnt as good, but once you got there it moved quite quickly. The evening entertainment is mainly hotel based but there were plenty of pubs and restaurants to visit, should you choose to do that.Theres also plenty of guys trying to sell watches and sunglasses as you stroll along in the baking heat, "CHEAP AS CHIPS", that always made us laugh.fantastic place to visit, you want be disappointed.

Playa del Muro is very family orientated. Our hotel Viva Blue was fantastic with the kids, aged 11 and 13.The resort has numerous restaurants which serve excellent food and there are numerous family pubs to cater for every taste. The main town is only a short bus ride away €1 per person or in a taxi €6.50.The port is a bit further down the way and is worth a visit for the beach front restaurants and the Sunday market, but I recommend haggling. There are also great duty paid shops here.Overall I found it excellent value for money, and I would recommend Alcudia to young or old alike, whether you have kids or not.It is a very laid back holiday with great entertainment, and the local people are really friendly and helpfull.

The resort is pleasantly laid out with much centering around the port area. There are some nice restaurants, though most of the foreigners are just too unadventurous to discern and attempt the truly quality restaurants and fare. The shops are just aimed at low-value sales of creams, inflatables, papers and sweets - much like Brighton!
The marina is pleasant with some nice bars and restaurants, bouncy castles for the kids and lots of luxury yachts to ogle at. I've seen a lot worse but we are shocked at how little Spanish character the place has maintained. It might as well be the UK or Germany. That's capitalism!

Plenty of good restaurants. The kids enjoyed the kids cocktails at The George and Dragon!!! Loads to do in Alcudia town. Market on the main road every week (Sunday). Beautiful beach. Very shallow for the children. Particularly enjoyed pedaloes with the slides.

This is our second visit to Alcudia - we last came in 1987 and things have certainly changed. There is everything here from great restaurants serving traditional Spanish food to English pubs where you can watch Eastenders! The Playa de Muro area has some brilliant restaurants with good food and good entertainment. We loved the Oasis restaurant which had some excellent vocal acts on some nights. There were also lots of bars with pool tables, mini golf etc which keep older children happy. Buses run regularly to take you along the coast in either direction. The only slightly bad experience we had was a visit to the Alcudia water park which we felt was poor value for money.
