We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Resort - is the land that time forgot. There are pony rides (arround a crazy golf couse) and numerous kids from crashing arround on peddle carts.
Not too many restaraunts or bars.. so evenings are centered arround your hotel (or appartment) suggest you get a car.
As I said before one possibly the best beach in the Balerics.. would I go back.. If someone provided a better hotel sure

I have beento alcudia two times now and it is a lovely place, beeach is beautiful there. There i alot of lakes in alcudia and a few of them do tend to smell.
We visited alot of restaurants and the food we had overall was good. Only one problem we had we visited a english bar onside street and we saw a rat running roung the place but that was the only one we saw in two weeks.
Beach is beautiful, there is no problem in getting a sunbed there but u do have to pay but we didnt mind as it it lovely.
Overeall i would visit the resort again

Beach clean and safe with visable flags to warn you when to or not go swimming.
Not much outside of hotel, only a few shops, arcades and an irish pub which the male adults amongst us thought was not lively enough?
However just a short bus ride in either direction brought you to towns good for tourism shopping and a good English pub in Pica Forte.
A bus ride could also take you to Caves of Drach. A must if you go to Majorca.

2nd time to Ajcudia & the resort is kept pretty clean.Horse treking just round the corner was a hit with wife & kids,Also 2 go-Kart tracks,Belle vue was 20 euros fo 16 laps.Water park was also good, plenty of queues.Went to beach once which was very clean, sand lovely to walk on & sea warmish and clear.Plenty of watersports,we tried banana boat & the kids loved it.Overall our holiday was great but possibly 10/11 days would be perfect for the all inclusive side.I would definitely recommend Alcudia & Lagamonte to families.

Staying at the BelleVue we were a 10 minute walk from the beach but it was worth it. Traffic throughout the resort is light and when crossing the roads (particularly with a pushchair) it's great that all the drivers stop at the zebra crossings.
Down on the main road around the bay, traffic is heavy and congested at peak hours, so drivers beware! Driving is however a doddle once you get to grips with basics (putting on seatbelt). The range of restaurants is great. We ate at 10 different places and with the exception of the first (Portofino? - opposite the Sol Alcudia Center), the service was fantastic. Places I'd reccommend are Ola's Steak and Grill, Lunas, Pago-Pago (Timoranda?) and El Loro Verde. The last one was a little expensive but the food was fantastic. On the road down to the beach there is a crepe stall which has queues from the moment he opens until he closes around 1/2 a.m.
On the beach sunbeds fill up quickly and cost 3.50 Euros all day. There are not one but 3/4 melon, coconut, banana sellers on the beach and while pricey, their food is fresh and tastes great. On the way to the beach there is a Frankfurter stall just by the supermarket, thoroughly recommended.
The bars are all off the main road and as with the hotel a little Spanish goes a long way with free nibbles and shots appearing as if by magic! Cheers and The Peach Pit are recommended, as is the cocktail bar across the road from them. The karaoke in The Peach Pit just goes on and on (we left at 4 a.m. and they still had a stack of people lining up to sing). For the more energetic, if you head turn left out of the main gate and past the Burger King, there is a small riding stable just up on the right.
Going back to driving, we used Avis (head for the beach and turn left at the last mini roundabout before the beach and it's around 200m on the left). All I had to do was produce my passport and photocard driving license. Our car cost 260 Euros for 3 days which allowed a second driver and gave a full set of insurance for car, driver and passengers. We went Marineland, Aqualand, drove around Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa and to the Caves of Drach. We saved 184 Euros on the travel company costs by traveling to these places by ourselves.

Although stayed just outside the resort which was ok the centre is awful. Blackpool in the sun, one strip of tacky bars and shops. However the beaches were beautiful. We also had a night out to the pirates show which i cannot stress enough is fantastic for children and adults-well worth the trip. Visited the old town which is very nice and the port which is quite nice however would not return again.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach, which offers a huge sandy expanse for safe and shallow bathing and Alcudia provides plenty in the way of evening entertainment for families. The town has enough going on to be "buzzing" without being overstated in any way, as can be the case in other resorts eg:- Palma Nova and Magaluf. Many of the bars have singers and entertainers, which provides the option of seeing 3 different Robbie William's, Elvis Presley, Lionel Richie and the Beatles all in one night. I would recommend hiring a car to see more of the island, however it is worth the 30 minute walk to the marina in Alcudia along the sea front. The best waterpark is Aquacity (Arenal) and the best snorkelling is in some of the small narrow coves - such as Cala Egos (Cala D'or) Also, a drive to Formentor is a must, as is a wander around Porto Pollensa.
