We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Plenty of bars and restaurants of all types. Lovely beach, warm sea, cheap transport. What more could you need.
All little more sun and a little less cloud and rain.

Blackpool with sun - all thats missing is the Tower! Shops all very tacky, full of junk. Restaurants were nothing special, they cater for the massess, all childrens menu's are full fast food -fries with everything! Nothing remotely traditional or authentic about Alcudia, we could have been anywhere. Beach was ok, a good 20 minute walk away from the Mariners Club but it was nice to get away from the chainsmokers around the pool. Would never contemplate taking my family here again.

Alcudia Pins is not in the centre of Alcudia, and you would need to get a bus or taxi into the centre which is about 3 miles away. There are taxi's right outside the hotel, and the bus stop is just at the bottom of the road. Both very easy to use. The area where the Alcudia Pins is situated has a few bars, shops and supermarkets, but is quiet. The big advantage is that Alcudia Pins is right on the beach, which is lovely. You can hire sun beds by the day, week etc, from the council, and their staff are on the beach to collect the money during the day. We hired our sun beds for the whole of our stay, so we didn't have to worry. Some people didn't seem to see the reserved stickers though, which caused problems. The beach is very child family, and felt very safe.

alcudia was a clean resort but a bit smelly.the mossies were awful they were everywhere.i was eating alive ive just came back from the doctors and all of my bits are that bad i have to take antibiotics for 30days and use cream 3 times a day as they are infected. My husband had to go to the doctors while we were there (which cost 50 euros) because one of his bits was that bad on his arm you couldnt see his wrist and his full arm was burnig so bad he couldnt stand it any longer without getting it seen to.when we got to the doctors he took one look at it and said oh no thats not right. He had to have an injection there and then to stop the swelling.if he didt it would of been very serious.he also had to get 2 lots of antibiotics.
The beach of alcudia was the best.you could walk out realy far and the water was still only up to your knees.Great for the kids.love it.

Alucida is like 'BLACKPOOL' in the sun. Plenty going on, loads of bars, restaurants, with a nice beach. Too big for us though. The streets not very clean + couldnt get over the amount of dog dirt on the food paths - yuk!

No cosmopolitan feel.

we went to the beach and the only had one portable toilet and it really smelt disgusting .the sunbeds and umberella were 11 euros for 3 beds and 1 umberella beach was lovely and clean u could walk for half a mile and the sea only just come up to your chest the resort was ok i would recommend a horse ride. if you was going to stay anywhere in majorca i would recommend puerto pellensa it has a lovely assortment of shops and restaurants along the sea front .hotels on the sea front all have their own private little section of the beach front .i would recommend you visit the harbour in puerto pollensa for a day out .Old town alacudia is lovely visit the church and castle ruins and wander around .i would not recommend going on market day as it is so busy and you can wait up to an hour for a taxi from there and still people push in front of you even though you have been waitin there for so long and it is mainly the other holiday makers that push in .if you need to catch the bus be prerpared to be squashed like sardines in a tin and dripped on by the air conditioning on them aswell

Love Alcudia, this is our second visit and we will be returning next year. The beach is fantastic, you can walk out far in to the sea and it only reaches your waist, so great for younger children, snack bars placed around the out edge of the beach, a bit pricey but food was very good.
The resturants around Alcudia are super, from the English type ones, to the more authenic ones, you are spolit for choice.
Certainly recommend this resort to anyone

The beach and area is utter bliss !
Very clean beach and very safe for children.
Watch out for the melon woman !
Dont go near the veterian surgery a few 400 metres as it has a restaurant adjoined to it :)
The actual resort has gone down hill since our last visit, but that is due to hotels going " all-inclusive" and nobody is out at night, many bars or shops closing down due to lack of trade, shame !
