Just stay clear of this place altogether.

We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcudia is not for us, its too busy, noisy and dirty. The hotel is in a run down area and due to the lakes and surrounding wetlands there is a lot of mosquitos - and that was early june.

The resort is beautiful, very clean.
The beach is amazing we spent every day there, seems like a long walk but within a couple of mins your there.
Would visit the resort again but not the accomodation.

Alcudia has everything you would want with all varieties of restaurants. However it does seem to have the same choice in each eating place and chips for the kids gets a bit tiresome.
The beach is lovely and is ideal for kids as it doesn't get deep for miles.
Would come here again.

Playa de Muro is a small resort on the outskirts of Alcudia. It has a lovely beach with clean well kept sand and a great shore line with shallow sea level right out to about 30 metres.
There are 3 main areas which become the busiest in an evening. One is 'Cheers Bar', a large family bar with family entertainment 'til about 2am. around the same area there is amusements and pony rides.
Next is a bar called 'The Swan', this is a British bar which also offers family fun and is centered around other smaller bars and a number of restaraunts. The third is a small road leading from the beach which houses 3 Irish bars. One called 'Smiths'. there are also other British bars and places to eat.
This resort is approx' 25 minutes walk from the centre of Alcudia, or 5 Euros in a taxi, which are available in a large rank on the resort.
Although this resort is small and reasonably quiet, we found it pleasent, clean, safe and close enough to a main resort to travel if we wished!

There seemed to be 2 areas to Alcudia. One part was ok if you want egg and chips or English pubs when you go to Mallorca or the port area which is much nicer.
The beaches are excellent especially for kids.
There is a waterpark but is fairly limited in terms of slides and very expensive for food(sneak in a picnic if you can).
Watch out for the mozzies.

Used this week as a real lazy week away so did not do much sightseeing but there is a free bus to the beach every half hour but only cost peanuts in a taxi. Visited old town one morning and have been to beach before and it is lovely. Would visit again and would stay at this hotel.

Alcudia is a a very nice place to have a good family holiday the beaches are clean the sea is very shallow you can walk out up to your knees in for a 100 metres and its warm, the restaraunts are well priced. We tried yummy yummys on our second day the food was ok but not that good, we went every night to the CANNYLAD just over the bridge heading towards the beach its in the same row as LINKERS,BUGGS BUNNY and the WHITE LION the food in here is very good Les and his wife make you very welcome and you get to find out little snippets abouts the resort thats not in the brochures.Cheers bar is good for the kids games etc and adult games to.
The Crepe man is also very good and his little dance routine will make the kids laugh he can be found just before the bridge as you head to the beach from the bellevue complex.lots of shops as you head towards the beach selling alsorts Alcudia has some thing for every one i would go back to this resort again in the future.one thing you must see when you are there is the pirate show in magaluf the show is brillant the food excellent and the free flowing drink lovely.

The resort of Alcudia is absolutely lovely. The beaches and the surrounding areas are spotless. The prices around the resort are very reasonable and all the places we visited to drink or eat were very clean all except for one bar which was very dirty and did smell awful! The entertainment is lacking - there were only a couple of bars which had live singers appearing and the rest of the 'british' bars did quiz and karaoke nights.

The resort is very spread about.
The canals are filthy they need a good clean out.
The pavements could do with a clean heare and there.
the bridge over the canal i can imagine being very slippy if it was wet.
Take loads of insect repellant you WILL need it mosquitos everywhere.
Wont be staying in Alcudia again.
