The hotel was very clean. We stayed here 2 years ago and the food was first class not so good this year but still found enough to eat.

The location was great for us as we like a quiet holiday. The hotel staff were great as they remembered us from 2 years ago.
Entertainment second to none. Cico, Martina and Beta were the best.

I have just returned from a week

Nice hotel.Very clean.
Food was plentiful and edible. They have to cater for many nationalities and not just the brits so there was a reasonable choice for all.
The pool was excellent and inviting as were the two jacuzzis at the end of the pool. There was about an equal number of Brits to Germans but there was never a problem getting a sunbed. If anything it was the Brits booking the beds earliest at about eight in the morning. I left it till ten past.
The outside bars and fast food kiosks were well run and efficient. Same with the lounge bar.The main problem here is the lack of wanting to queue by the Germans plus their plain arrogance. This is not an across the board issue as we met and enjoyed the company of several Germans who were a pleasure to know. We were ALL on holiday after all.On our last night met a lovely german girl who spoke good english with an american accent.
The location of the hotel is poor, but this is stated in the brochure so would be unfair to complain about it.The JCB digger operating directly outside the hotel was not listed in the brochure though. The noise ruined what should have been a peaceful break.
The bar staff were efficient in serving drinks but other than lovely little Alba in the lounge bar they failed to raise a single smile.
Chico and Rosanna did an excellent job trying to motivate people for the daytime activities. i got press ganged into two stints on stage at night and had to insist i was then left alone. If you actually join in then you get asked every day.Ok for some but i did want a peaceful holiday. Night time entertainment very ordinary and repetative. Same songs for the kids mini-disco every single night.Many people played their own card or board games in the evening, and we even bought a pack of cards after a few days when we realised the entertainment was so dire.
There were a lot of people who preferred to sit outside at one of the two bars and just chill out. Soft music and free flowing alcohol. That is what many people wanted.It was very relaxing.
Overall the hotel was fine and we would certainly return as i believe that mixing with other nationalities creates an enjoyable challenge.
Overall the Belvedere is a clean,tidy and efficient hotel that caters for all. A holiday is,after all,what you make it.

the best thing about this hotel was the pool very safe apart from all the rules displayed
what not to do, being broken ie diving bombing , also nothing to do in the evening apart from entertaining yourselfs ie cards . there was no music outside at all after the mini club finished. the entertainment staff where based inside where it was over 100f and iv had more fun being bitten by a rattle snake then what they done to entertain you the ghost night was as funny as having your house reposessed . apart from the good standard of alcohol i had that was about it the rooms were small and if you where unluckly, to be above the 3rd floor if you took the lift you would maybe get in intime for breakfast

3 weeks before we were due to go on this holiday we were going to change hotels and just wished we had of,apart from the cleanliness there is nothing good to say about this hotel.im glad we met up with other holidaymakers to have a laugh with otherwise it wouldve been a nightmare,no air conditioning,loadsa foreigners,food naff,rooms tiny,entertainment not good,location was in the middle of nowhere.just glad to be home.

We have had a wonderful holiday.Had room on 9th floor with a fantastic view over Palma Bay. Rooms hot but room to sleep on the balcony if you wished. Pool excellent and very clean. The maid service was brilliant with room cleaned every day and daily clean towels. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant and in the various snack bars around the pool. The only area where you had to queue for ages was the pizzeria, queues for drinks were minimal. All staff very fiendly and helpful.
The beach at Cala Mayor and the shops were better in our opinion than Palma Nova. The first part of the walk down is on the road but the rest is via lots of steps, so it's hard work coming back up but we just took it slowly and it was fine. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Just returned from a couple of weeks here. Good points were the cleanliness of the hotel.
The pool is great, just get up before 8 to put your towel on a sunbed or they will all be taken! The food is lovely, lots of choice, and everthing in the food hall is very clean. The snack bars around the pool are good too, yeah you have to queue a bit sometimes but whats the rush!!? Alcoholic drinks not too good, cheap and watery, but the beers and liquers were good.
As for the location,,, if you have young children its great because there is a lot for them to do, if you are with older children 12+ it can get a bit repetative especially in the evenings (unless you go on holiday to play cards every night)! It is not far into Magaluf or Palma Nova if you want some decent night life (taxi about 12 Euros)
The hotel is in a quiet residential area, a short walk down to a small sandy beach, lots of steps to come back up though,(its good for taking off some of the calories from all the food tho!)
The staff on reception, maids and entertainment staff were great. Bartenders and food staff seemed miserable the whole time.
The worst thing about our stay was that if we didnt want to go into breakfast we couldnt get a cup of coffee outside until 10am.
The only reason I wouldnt visit this hotel again is because there are plenty more to try out there!!

Me and my husband Marc wanted a cheep break away from the uk, the kids didn't know we were going to this FANTASTIC holiday, on the way to the airport they thought we were going to there grandmas house for a week but when we got to the airport they all had a pretty good idea we were going on a summer break!!!

So the flight was easy n smooth, bit unhappy about the leg room!!
we arrived at the hotel and noticed one thing above all......it was spotless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was very spacious and the staff were very clean and friendly they always had a smile on their face!!!! :D

Entertainment was quite good but better for the kids range.
Our only worry was the cobbley path going down hill we have two boys and a girl and the ladz seem to run everywhere and don't seem to remember the path in the brochure...

Over all we had a brill time and reccomends this hotel and the facillities to any family with young children.....we are already looking for next years holiday in Belvedere, Majorca, so if you have a family like us you'll have a good time.

I must admit I realy enjoyed it here but I tend to waste half of my day in bed so we did struggle for a sun bed!!!
I would get the bus to the beach as the long walk downhill on a cobbley pathway at the top of a steep hill is a tad dangerous.

It was clean, nice beach just the right size for me not too big and not too small! I met alot of friends on holiday and so did my three children...it was realy good for my teenage daughter mixing in with other teenagers her age!!

It was also good for my little boy and girl they all really enjoyed it. Yes the entertainment was good for them!!!

And I got a little break through the day, my teenage girl was doing her own thing, my 4 year old and 7 year old were at the club and my husband was sat at the bar...(what a suprise).

You would have to get up around 8ish to put down your towell and to get a good spot...which I regret not doing!

Staff were okay a little more up tight with the English though.

I will probabley come back to this hotel in a couple of years time!!!!!!!

hotel lovely and clean,pool area lagoon shape pool with two jacuzzis in it.

Snacks for the kids were really good but the food in the restaurant was a bit repetitive. Very out of the way but not a problem as there is a courtesy bus into Palma Nova every half an hour.

Staff were very friendly and helpful,the entertainment wasnt to clever and it could do with moving outside as it is too hot in the room they use.

The entertainment and the ceiling fans are the reasons I wouldnt go back far too hot in August for no air conditioning .

Overall not a bad hotel
