This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I am a really fussy eater and I manages to find an enjoyable meal every night of the week. Kids also found something every night which is unusual.
The entertainment was fantastic day and night. We had a few days bad weather but this didn't stop us all enjoying the holiday as there was plenty of entertainment to keep us all busy throughout the bad weather.
The hotel staff were polite and friendly.
Would certainly recommend this hotel for families.

In 25 years of foreign travel this is one of the few hotels I would recomend to anyone, we have already booked for summer 2006.
Overall is an excellent place.A beautiful and ideal spot for location, right on the beach, pool, shops, etc.
The hotel is good, the food is good, and the staff are wonderful, so friendly. The Thomson reps are friendly and helpful. Excellent entertainers.
Nice gestures like being shown where the restaurant,etc is, also having a free baggage room and a courtesy room for late leavers.

This hotel is excellent!! We stayed here as part of an allocation on arrival package and couldn't have been more impressed!
The hotel is one of the cleanest I have stayed in. The maids clean the rooms every day - moving the beds to clean under them and also changing towels every day! The maids were also very friendly, always smiling and saying hello when they see you.
The food was also excellent. There was so much to choose from (and plenty of it) and there was easily something for everyone.
I have given a 5 for hotel location as it is right on the beach, as well as restaurants and supermarkets.
However, if you are looking for nightlife, there really isn't much and the closest is a good half hour walk away, which usually died down about midnight anyway. But aside from that, the hotel has a beautiful location.

Arrived at the hotel on the 12th May, when we got to our rooms (which were interconnecting) we had a fantastic view over the beach and to the left we could see the nature reserve.
The hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, food was fantastic.
The only dissapointment was the entertainment side of things. Mini disco started at 8.30 and the main show started at 9.30, not up to much to be honest with you.

As a regular guest of this hotel I can recommend it to anyone.
I have just visited the hotel, it is now closed for refurbishmnet works.
After reading the reports on this web, I must say that they are building a new big panoramic lift, and many improvements in rooms.

This hotel was great for cleanliness and the food quality was excellent, fry up every morning with a good selection of food for evening meals, down side was having to pay for drinks with evening meal, and would have been nice for this to have been included!
Good selection of food at the poolside bar and all reasonably priced.
The hotel location is right on the beach so is ideal for beach lovers, however the beach did have a lot of fag ends on it so we only went there once, (off putting!) The hotel is also situated right next to a nature reserve, great if you like that sort of thing but please be warned in the Thomson brochure it mentions this "nature reserve" but forgets to mention that if your room is overlooking the lake you get woken up every morning (about 6:30-7am ish!) To the sound of 200 ducks quacking followed by a local dog howling and barking at them!!! I thought it might have been a one off but trust me this quacking and howling happened on more than a few occasions. Please don

The hotel was very clean with daily maid service.We had double inter-connecting rooms which were massive,good size bathrooms superb showers,plenty of wardrobe space and the air con was very good.
The food was superb lots of variety both morning and evening did'nt have the same menu twice,lots of dessert options and a very good kids buffet.The only downside was that you had to buy drinks from bar with evening meal,but as we usually went straight to the bar after dinner it didnt really matter, the pool bar did serve good sncks pizzas,toasties burgers ect and the prices were suprisingly cheap.The location was a bit out in the "sticks" about 30 mins lazy walk from town. All the hotel staff were very friendly and keen to help, all spoke superb English.Every day were poolside entertainment the "T"shirt game, pool games,beach volley ball and quizzes everyone could join in most games Wez the Thomsons rep was a star.The kids clubs were great our kids loved them top marks for the reps.The mini disco every night is superb for the little ones with some parent participation required for some dancing(star treking and king karaticus)good fun though. If you win any games through the day you can go on stage and collect certificates, t shirts and champagne.Then the cabret comes on.... thats when it goes pear shaped not one good show in two weeks.What a let down after the top efforts through the day. Thats when Shananigans and Scandals English bars came in 5 mins walk away,Scandals 7-midnight happy hour(the beer is good).
Apart from the poor evening entertainment and the pool which is a bit cold we had a brilliant familly holiday and if we went back to can Pic we would go to the Son Baulo without a doubt.

ECXCELLENT, 10 out of 10. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The place is lovely, the staff great,the Thomson team fantastic. We have already booked for next year.

The hotel was always very clean and the air con was great.
The food is outstanding, the variety unbelievable, children have their own food.

Beautiful hotel and a beatiful beach on your doorstep. No traffic problems, walking is safe. Warm sea, cooling breeze.
Quite and peaceful, very tidy, everything needed close at hand.
Something for everyone.

The best family holiday I have been on. The food was abosolutely gorgeous and plenty of it - the deserts are out of this world. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was really good with daytime activities and professional acts on most nights. Wes the entertainer is absolutely brilliant. My children really enjoyed the childrens clubs too.
The resort itself is really nice. It is about a 20 minute walk along a traffic free promanade. The only disappointing thing is, is that you have to buy your own drinks for your evening meal - the tea, Coffee, Water, Juice is not supplied like it is at breakfast.
I will definately be returning to this hotel.
