The Hotel was situated nicely on the edge of Magaluf. It was about 5 minutes walk to the beach and about 10 minutes walk away from the strip and BCM Planet Dance.

The food wasn't very good, mainly eating pizza and chips. But having as much alcohol as you wanted all day was very good.

The staff were friendly except the security had a go for anything.

The hotel entertainment was quite good offering things for all ages. This hotel is especially good for 18 - 30's as many of the guests were this age too.

I would go back to this hotel but probably eat out most of the time.

Well, Where do we start? We had to laugh or we'd cry!! When we arrived at Don Manolo first impressions were good.

The reception was nice and clean, with plenty of comfy sofa's. This became a popular meeting area for the various groups of 18-30's staying in the hotel, especially in the early hours of the morning.

We then ventured into lift to the 5th floor, but remember to stand around the edges or the lift won't go up!!

The carpet on the 5th floor was covered in disgusting stains and our door looked like it had been forced open with a crow bar!!

The room was basic but adequate, just big enough for 2 people. However the bathroom was revolting. The water was brown, and we had to shower in it!!

The food was o.k but boring after a while. We advise you visit snack time between the main meal times. A wide selection of cold meats and salad.

The pool was big, but deep. Always enough sun lounges any time of the day. However, groups of 18-30's always present, permenantly drunk on free alcohol, which was great for us but not for families.

Entertainment consisted of the same 3 people every night, who also doubled up as waitresses, security and receptionists!!
It was o.k, bingo every night then a short show.

Overall we wouldn't go to this hotel again unless we got it for a better price! Good luck if you have booked this holiday you will need it.

After staying at this hotel last year I am returning again this year with my friend!

After reading all the reviews I was very shocked! All the complaints about food and staff! Which I found were fine!
For how cheap this all inclusive is all the food/drink is great! (one of cheapest around)

Quite a few groups of young people but to be fair we all had a laugh together and most were even playing with the kids!

Ignore the reviews, visit it, it's great!!!!

We have stayed 3 times in this hotel although very basic rooms they are cleaned every day.

The staff have always been friendly we tended to go out every night as we had no children with us.

On the whole we found the food reasonable there is always something you can eat.

The hotel can become rowdy as a lot of groups tend to be there but hotel staff try to keep them quite.

I would not recommend this hotel to older people but we would definitely go back

As I am a Travel Agent and I had booked this holiday for me my partner and all of our friends I was really worried when I decided to have a look on the reports. I was horrified to find out what other people had thought about this hotel. I never said anything to my partner or the others travelling, I mentioned it to my colleagues at work who said what do we always say to our customers don't believe it as everyone has their own opinions. But I was still worried.

I went to this hotel with an open mind you make your holiday what you want.

We arrived early about 1.00pm the hotel was clean the reception was really nice big comfy chairs,

We went to our room we had a double room it was facing the back of the hotel which was a bit noisy at night but what do you expect being in a lively resort.

There is food on all of the time from 8.00am till 11.00pm and the food is o.k. There was soup a selection of salad, chips, meats, fish, pizza, pasta, but what we paid we sill eat out now and again.

The drinks were good too cocktails, slushes help yourself soft drinks the staff were really nice they gave you 2 drinks per person.

Our rooms were cleaned everyday and we had clean towels everyday our friends rooms were pool facing and they were loads bigger than ours. We just had a shower but they had a bath and a shower.

Hi. Stayed in hotel at beginning of May. It is on the edge of Magaluf but only about 5/10 minutes walk away from the shops and nightclubs (which you could not hear at night) and the beach which is lovely.

Arrived quite late but was greeted well and told to get something to eat before snacks closed at 11pm which we thought was nice.

Room was basic but comfy and clean. Entertainment during the day was games/sport at certain times which were archery, rifle shooting, french bowls, killer darts, football - I must admit they were quite fun and if you won you had to collect a medal and certificate in the evening. The drinks were good as it was self service for hot and soft cold drinks. Alcoholic drinks were served for you. The staff were okay and pleasant. The pool area was very nice.

The entertainment in the evenings was Bingo, kids disco and then either a show (which was good) or some sort of fun. The boy entertainers were not professional entertainers but good fun who made an effort but the girls were not enthusiastic. It's okay if you are not expecting a lot. There were games for the kids during the day.

The food was served buffet style. Breakfast was always good. The selection for lunch and dinner were not co-ordinated, little selection, slightly weird and sometimes not properly cooked. Some of it was edible though. You are okay if you like soup,rolls and salad. They always served an italian menu which consisted of Pizza, plain pasta and Spag bol every day. There was a small selection of salad and hot food like burger, sausage & chips imbetween meals which wasn't too bad.

The people staying there were nice - a mixture of age groups and the games helped you make friends. Towards the end of the week the large groups of girls and boys started to come in and thats when the noise started. We were never told it was an 18 - 30's hotel when we booked (we are in our 40's) felt a bit intimidated and were glad to be going home when we did. I think we visited just at the right time.

We were told that there was trouble one night towards the end of the holiday where there was a fight between some girls and boys but the police sorted it out and they were removed from the hotel.

I think my 19 year old daughter and her friends would love to visit this resort.

When I went to Don Manolo my first thoughts when I stepped in reception was, very nice.

We have been to the hotel twice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Jose, Luis on the bar bought my daughter ice lollys and Jonny,Rafa and Cherif were brilliant with the children. They also did a kids show which meant the kids did a show and the crowd and the kids loved it.

All the 18-30s got a warning if they did something wrong again they were OUT!!!!

Jonny is coming to stay with us for a couple of weeks in November he is a good friend of ours.

The food was brill at lunch they had gateux sometimes mmmmmmmm. The hotel was clean. The drinks, I was spoilt for choice. If you are visiting the hotel go all inclusive.

We are going to go back next year. Just go and vist you will love it and by the way they are refubishing it in the winter into a 4 star but still not too expensive, but best thing of all - just for families!

We booked on the net ( HOLIDAY INDEX LTD ) not from a travel agent. Myself and my husband had a really bad holiday experience here.
We never got any night sleep as we were woken constantly hour after hour from very rowdy teenagers on their way back form the night clubs. And during the day there was no way we could rest by the pool as the teenagers were so rowdy there to. We walked many times over what we thought were dead body's of absolutely out of their face yobs. The entertainment has to be the worse we have ever seen.

We are in our late forties and we were not told this hotel would have an 18to30s club in it. I could go on and on about how bad it was but i wont! this hotel is for the young only not the young at heart. I did complain to the holiday company ( HOLIDAY INDEX LTD ) and had a nice letter back saying they have taken my complaint very seriously and be back in contact with me ASAP. I have sent them two more letters asking for a bit of a refund. Till this day we still have not received another letterfrom them. So much for taking my letters seriously!!!

Being a travel agent I don't tend to look at review sites until after I return from holiday to see what everyone else thinks. I wish I had checked before hand as this has got to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.
