Was looking forward to this as hard year at work, ended more stressed out even more. This hotel is constantly noisy from 12am to 8am when the young drunks arrive back from discos, down at the pool loads of young parties of people getting drunk and rowdy was no peace to enjoy it.

I thought this was a family hotel it was mixed bit of both. hotel room was filthy shower head fell off the wall and landed on my foot, toilet wouldn

What a dump this hotel needs a makeover. Cracked floors, mouldy ceiling and bathroom.

One socket which kept overloading with the 3 way adaptor. One channel on TV (CNN).

Location was good; lots of bars and restaurants nearby, staff very grumpy never saw a smile. The old one at reception could star in the latest horror movie,

Pool area nice but had too be down between 6-8am to get a bed near the pool.

The food was very ok; edible as they say had a lot nicer in other hotels. We paid a lot of money for this hotel (all inclusive) for 2 weeks and never got value for money.
Ate our most nights and never stayed in for the entertainment which was absolute rubbish. Went to the local pubs.

Arrived late in the night. Magaluf looked nice and bright,woke up about 11am, went down for snacks very nice.

Went to pool area couldn't get a bed sat on grass bit of a let down. Pool area was nice but cramped lots of people all squashed together.

Found the hotel a bit old but very clean.

The food was alright nothing exciting all your usual pasta,sauces,chips,salads,fish,pork and some kind of veal.

The location is on a steep hill. Good views as we stayed on the 8th floor but found the hill very steep with a lot of stairs.

The staff was very moody sometimes,I guess because (AI) no tips but should be nice all the time.

The entertainment was very poor ,for kids and adults. The Spanish entertainers were nice but couldnt really give the British what we want.

If you have got a family ,not really a family hotel.

Couldn't wait to get there, arrived late evening threw everything in the room went down to entertainment in the lounge.

Gosh....went to bar asked for a beer and white wine tiny plastic cups. Bingo going on then a quiz that lasts to the end of the night. Disappointed big time.....bet if it wasn

Didn't like this hotel. There were 4 of us ,2 couples all cooped up in this very small room with little or no air condition. Ian my partner decided to sleep outside with his bed to give us a bit of room to get by because of the beds and suitcases.

Only 1 small wardrobe lived out of the case for 2 weeks, the owners of this hotel should be wearing masks for trying to get us to pay 60 euros for 2 weeks hire of a safe. Tried to get another room told fully booked even tried to get somewhere else the following week rep said it would cost us

Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. Hated this hellhole hotel bad,food disgusting,location,staff annoying and the shows ...am glad to be back !

Found the hotel staff un-helpful at times, after being woken up nearly every night by the noise of the younger guests going or coming in we missed breakfast.

We asked to be moved told hotel full not helpful at all.The food boring and same stuff nearly every day you had to get bit of this and that to make a plateful,and the snacks hamburgers and hotdogs every day.

The restauraunt shut at nine after that you could get horrible lettuce,pate,plastic ham sandwiches.Drinks served in plastic cups long lines of people waiting for drinks no more than three per customer at a time and one had to be a soft drink and a barman that clapped his hands to get your attention he wanted you to move into a different line,rude or what.

60 euro for a safety deposit box 10 refunded on leaving,two lot of people had money an cheques stolen within 25 mins of arrival while trying to sort out getting a box.

The hill got very slippery when wet and the amount of people that ended up on their backsides. A young girl slipped and went through the window on the balony feet first and sliced her legs ,the next day for some strange reason fire exstinguishers were then given covers that locked so if needed you couldent have got them out of the case without a key.

The pool closed at six and staff became annoyed even if you just sat chatting after this time.We tried to book the room so we could use it upto when we were leaving, told to go back on the day we were leaving later only to find out no we couldent have it but we could have a room from 2-8pm great we thought we are getting picked up at nine, no we could only have twenty mins at a time which left u carrying passports etc all day. BUT the worst thing was the ignorant waiter who would quite happily knock the utensil out of your hand in his bid to get to the empty plate at the side of you.

I wish we had read this site before going both myself and my son wanted to come home after a couple of days we had had enough.

Arrived at Hotel at 11am to find rooms not ready. Had to wait just over an hour for our room.


When we finally went into room I was a little disappointed it was very small and had a double and 2 single beds in it. Furniture is very basis and very outdated. Bathroom was too small and the toilet was half under the shelf which held the basin. The bidet was coming off the wall something we did not know about until my daughter tried to wash her feet in it and discovered it flooded the bathroom.


Food was okay but very repetative. It took nearly 10 minutes to make some toast as the toaster was rubbish. If you like chips you are okay ha ha. Waiting staff are miserable and one in particular ( male ) smelled of sweat which put you off your meals.

Entertainment was okay really enjoyed sitting on balcony on a night and not having to go into my purse all the time to buy the kids drinks. The queue to the bar was not bad only a few times did I see it really busy.

The other annoying thing about the hotel is it is certainly not located in Palma Nova as some may say it is Magaluf and my room faced the sling shot. It was very noisy on a night right up until about 6am with men shouting and swearing.

All in all not a holiday in hell but would not visit this hotel again

Just come back from a 2 week stay at the Honolulu.

Me and my friend had a fantastic time!

The hotel was very clean and our room was cleaned every day!

The food was ok but was repeated quite abit but i always found something to eat.

Some of the staff were friendly some were quite moody.
The entertainment was ok and me and my friend won the men vs women competition one night which was a good laugh!But the mini disco for ki9ds didnt last very long.

The hotel was a great location right on the strip of magaluf with loads of bars and clubs!

The hotel does cater for families very well but I will say that some families might find that people coming in making noise at 6am might be a problem!

I never had a problem getting a sunbed even if I strolled down at 10.30am i managed to get 1 although I liked going to the beach which was a 2 minute and lovely and clean.

The drinks at the hotel are great especially the cocktails and their shots are very generous!!!

Me and my friend met lots of great people who were a great laugh which made the holiday even better!

All in all I had a great holiday and it was definatley worth the money and im looking to go back next year with more people to the same hotel!!!

We have just returned from a 2 week all inclusive stay at the Hotel Honolulu. We traveled with 2 children aged 6 and 4, the whole family had a great time, we would definately return to this hotel again.

The hotel is located between Magaluf and Palma Nova, close to 2 beaches and surrounded by plenty of bars shops etc. As others have stated, it is situated on a bit of a hill and you do have a flight of stairs to climb to enter the hotel (we had a buggy and managed ok).

The hotel reception, restaurant, and bar areas where all spotless. The rooms where basic,(at the end of the day you are only changing and sleeping in) but they where big enough for 4, and where cleaned every day, and fresh towels left. The staff are not the most friendless I have encountered, but they get on with their job.

As for noise, our room was 3 from the end closest to the sling shot on the same side,(this is the pool side, and from the 5th floor the views are amazing). The noise was not excessive, and with the balcony door closed, you have no problem sleeping. We also found that on one occasion at around 5.30am there was excessive noise in the corridors, but a complaint to the rep in the morning sorted this out.

The food was of a good standard, with a wide choice each day, (I think because there was such a large varitey at each sitting, some people found this repetive), and between main meals there was hot dogs, bugers, chips etc, which suited the kids.

The entertainment through the day was basic for the kids, and at night was a bit short (at the end of the day they dont state they are a suncentre). The adult entertainment was good, the usual stuff.

As stated above, I would definately return the the Hotel Honolulu.
