The hotel was very well run we were booked in very fast even changed rooms 3 times until we were satisfied. The staff very nice and helpful.
The food was very good hot fresh and plenty. The pool could do with being a bit bigger and warmer too cold to use even in June. The life guard was excellent took his job very serious.
The childrens clubs were excellent well run and staff were great. Adults were kept busy as well. The rooms could be bigger families with buggies must struggle for room clean though.
We would recommend this hotel we are going to return to this hotel later in the year.

The entertainment staff whom there was loads mimed to a few songs each nite. They played a couple of songs at miny disco and played musical bumps each nite, at which they ignored the younger kids my 3 year old got so fed up she stopped playing each nite.
In our week only 2 acts were brought in. My daughter didn't go to kids club as she prefered the pool but everyday the older kids club would be brought to the baby pool to play games which forced parents to take babies out of the pool for about an hour.
It wasnt that hard to get a sun bed if you wanted beside the pool you were up at 8.30 but if you werent fussed you could get 1 anytime. I've been all inclusive before so I expected better on the entertainment but i couldn't reall fault hotel.

In short the hotel is very clean, the rooms are small but modern and well kept. 99% of the staff are friendly and overall you would find it hard to fault the hotel. Some people complained the rooms are small, theres no fridge etc but remember this is a hotel not apartments so you only get a room to sleep in and an ensuite! For me and my partner we felt the best thing about the hotel was the food and the location. Food - best All Inclusive food we've had, fresh, well cooked and a great selection. They do cook on the grill in front of you and theres chicken, pork chops, steak, swordfish, pasta, pizza, then a selection of other dishes, salad bar, huge selection of fruit and excellent deserts (chocolate cake, sponge cake all fresh) They also have a good selection of bread. The suprise for us was that all sort drinks are branded, Pepsi and 7 up and this is very very rare for all inclusive. Best meals are lunch and dinner, breakfast was ok but nothing special. (snacks are a bit pants as well!) I doubt anyone would eat here and find nothing they like. I also think you will struggle to find a restuarant nearby serving better food for lunch and dinner especially for the amount you can choose from.
Location - very close to the beach and trust me the beaches here are top class.
Bad things about the hotel. Pool is stupidly small and the sunbeds are laid out like sardines in a can. The hotel was modernised in 1999 but I dont think they changed the pool. Entertainment is 110% for children and me and my partner (26 and 23) were very bored and forced to go elsewhere in the evenings which being all inclusive was annoying. However if you have children they will totally love it. This was the same during the day, we had to go to the beach every day and we normally lay by the pool butit really was that busy and small, not our cup of tea but the beach is so nice we couldnt complain.
There are only two lift which fit 4 adults not 6 and you have to wait up to 5 minutes to go up and down, especially if you are on the 8th or 9th floor. This doesnt sound long but can be really annoying and there were often cues for the lift.
The all inclusive drink are fine but as the hotel is nearly full you will have to que for drinks in one of the 3 ques!
Overall apart from the poor adult entertainment, small pool and small lifts this hotel is great. The location is superb, its modern, good for kids with great food. Whilst its not ideal for us we are going back in september as its great value for money, the food is worth the stay alond and the location is perfect. We've been to Palma Nova 6 times, and I doubt you will ever find the perfect hotel, not for

The cleaners are fantastic although the rest of the hotel staff are very unhelpful (but none of them understand english) so that doesnt help.
The pool was very small and childrens entertainment not posted very well so no one knew what was on and when. With 2 hotels being advertised it was very confusing therefore we went out every evening.
Please be aware that the Baby Rock Club 0-4 years is simply a room in which you are required to leave your child with a stranger and expect a 4years old to play with a 3 months old (not practical) All in all I would say if you are a couple with no children and dont mind chips with everything and a climb up numberous flights of stairs as the lifts hold 4-6 people, and are always full then this hotel is for you.
If not, and you have children then choose somewhere else although this is a Flintstones hotel we never saw Fred and the only simarlarity is the caveman style bedding on my daughters bed.
We were very disappointed the evening meals let it down and the Spanish (non english speaking staff) weren't helpful.
Doubt we'll go back unless its free with spending money included....

The hotel is very very clean can't find qny fault with it at all. The food was very good, there was something for everyone at all the meals. Whether it be the main meals or the snacks. The hotel is located 2 minutes from a beautiful beach which was also very clean.
Its also very near to the centre of Palma Nova and Magaluf all within walking distant but without the noise at night times. Entertainment was very good especially for the children during the day and the night. My children didn't bother with the kids club but there was always something for them to do. There was evening shows for the children and the adults or if you prefer you could go next door to the sister hotel, the Mirlos although you have to pay for your drinks here.
There is also plenty to do within the resorts so you don't have to stay at the hotel at night. The staff are very friendly and work very hard.
I would definately go to this hotel again though maybe for 2 weeks next time.

The hotel overall was very clean - but our rooms were at the end of the corridor so by the time the maid got to them her mop and bucket had been well used - and our rooms were mopped with dirty water which smelled awful! We had two rooms (we were a party of 6) and we encountered cockroaches in both rooms during our stay.
Most of the staff were nice and friendly in the bar, at reception, kids club reps - but the waiters in the dining room were really long faced and nippy, almost made you feel guilty for being there at all! There was one friendly one out of the whole lot, a tiny wee guy!- polite, funny and great with the kids. The others I'm afraid were nothing short of ignorant.
The food was ok but a very limited selection and on the whole a bit bland. We've stayed in other 3* HB hotels and had far superior food. Chips at breakfast time? And beware the mutant toaster at breakfast - you have to put your bread through it about four times to get it from looking anaemic to lightly tanned!!
The drinks in the hotel bar were reasonably priced which is unusual, there are two free PS2 machines to keep the kids amused and a room containing 7 internet ready PC's so you can check your email while you're away (these are free to use also). The Mirlos was a stone's throw from the beach and in a lovely quiet location.

The reception area is obviously the first place you will see. My party of 4 arrived with about 40 other travellers. This made the reception area very cramped and check in a very laborious operation. The staff both on reception and the bar are not particularly friendly but are efficient enough.
There are 2 lifts which are tiny although we did manage to fit 4 adults & 4 inflated lilo's in one of them much to our amusement (you had to be there!).
The hotel room was clean and the air-con & ceiling fan were most welcome on the night we arrived as it was rather sticky. The shower in the bathroom was fantastic, as good as any power shower. The maids cleaned the room and changed the towels daily.
Plug points were plentiful although the lighting was a little dim for applying make-up!
The bar/lounge area were not as clean with dirty ash tray's & empty plastic cups often left on the tables.
The area around the pool was very cramped, we went to the beach every day but found it tricky finding a path through the sun beds when leaving and it looked like a bomb had hit the pool area when we got back due to the amount of rubbish discarded by our fellow guests, although the ground staff did work hard every night to clean up, put the sun beds away & get the tables out ready for the evening entertainment.
The pool is tiny considering the size of the hotel.
The food I find to be pretty much the same at all European all inclusive hotel's although the Tordos probably has a slight edge on the other 2 I have visited in the area. They try hard to make you feel at home by having a go at English cuisine but it never quite works.
I always end up eating soup, salad & melon. This time I actually lost 4 lbs!
The entertainment for children is excellent throughout the daytime & evening.
Adults can amuse themselves of a night time by trying to guess how many of the plastic chairs will collapse! Although this causes great hilarity, it's not so funny when it happens to people holding small children. So be careful what you sit on should you visit the Tordos.

Could not fault the hotel, its very clean with excellent facilities.
Rooms are a good size and cleaned each day.
The maids were also very friendly, nicer than most of the other staff. We paid for a sea view room and it is worth the money, view is amazing.
The best thing about the hotel was the food, even a fussy eater would find it hard not to find something. There was a full English breakfast everyday, cereals, yogurts, fruit, croissants, even donuts and cakes! Evening meals were really nice too, wide selection of salads, meat, vegetables and some Mallorcan dishes. Each night there was also an Italian corner with loads of pasta and pizza. Also, plenty of food for kids, stuff like chicken nuggets and chips. The food was always hot and well presented and the desserts were the best! Waiters were a bit grumpy though, they don't seem to like English people much.
The one downside would be the pool. It's far too small for a hotel of its size, especially considering Mirlos and Tordos share a pool. Also, even if you just wanted to get in to cool off it would be difficult, there always seemed to be tournaments and games by the entertainment staff put on every minute of the day. It got kind of annoying.
Didn't see much of the entertainment, we preferred going out at night into the town or Magalluf, but there was something different every night.
Overall, this was a really good hotel, you would have to be the fussiest person to not like it. Would definitely go back!
